Let's start with the pros: + Massive size to ensure that you are full + Beautiful location in the tivoli park + A wide array of choices of how you like it prepared + Fast and polite service Now for the cons: - Completely lacking in taste (even the condiments) - The bun to paddy-ratio is off balance - A bland experience and a very forgettable burger taste-wise. - The paddy had a rubbery texture that you know from low quality meat. Go here to say you went and tried the horse burger, but don't expect do be blown away.

The place to eat horse meat burgers in Slovenia. I liked the out door seating in the park. You order and pay at the self serve kiosk. Show your receipt to pick up order. This is an interesting experience to try horse meat at least once in your life.

The horse burger was delicious. The meat was very flavorful – seems like they included tasty good spices. The horse burger was huge and very filling.The ketchup is not the best brand. A very peaceful pleasant setting adjacent to a park.

This must be, hands down, THE Best burger in the whole region! Take a menu and immerse yourself in a wonderful rush of different aromas and the heart of the burger, the meat. Pick your own favorite combination of ingredients and extra sauces, pick regular or whole grain bread, and if you like it spicy ask for some habanero sauce and sliced jalapeños. French fries are included with a choice of dips and also choose your favorite beverage. If you went to Ljubljana and didn't go for a Hot Horse, you haven't really been there ;) One of rare places I couldn't recommend more, but I think my review speaks for itself!

The burger was quite huge, but the quality was worse than in a regular burger restaurant. What I didn't like is the queue and not enough people to cook and serve. You will wait there very long time until you get your food. The service was nice and speaks basic English. There's also Toilet but you must ask for the key and the toilet is rather disgusting.

The burgers here are as big as your face! Horse meat is actually quite tasty. Definitely worth a try. They have more sauces than you can throw a chip at - chilli, nacho cheese...etc. Go nuts!

Not sure what other reviewers are complaining about, just finished my horse burger and it was freaking delicious! The ordering machine was down, but with 5 people in front of me in the queue when I got here, it took only about 15 minutes to be sitting down with my order. All of the toppings are included in the price, so go wild with how you want to dress it up! I was happily surprised to see that the Tabasco was actually a habanero hot sauce (I find Tabasco to be too vinegary). Fries were made to order, hot, crispy, and with sauce options as well (but if you're solo, burger and fries is a lot of food!). The man working was friendly, and able to speak English, since I can only say about 3 words in Slovenian. I asked for a large beer and he joked that it was the "normal" size. Awesome experience. Cash and credit cards are accepted for payment. Definitely stop by and try a horse burger, the flavor is so so so good!

Very enjoyable burger (large size - was good to share between two) with a good range of sauces and toppings, definitely try the ajvar sauce

My first horse meat. It was delicious. And the burger was huge. The guy behind the grill was very friendly and patient as I tried to navigate the menu. I got the full sized burger with nacho, ajvar sauce, and pickled jalapeños and lettuce. It was incredible. I wish I could eat two.

Prices really to high. Dirty tables. Toilets without paper and soap. This place is really falling apart :(

This is a place to try horse meat in a burguer or hotdog. It was our first experience and we have to say that the flavour was very delicious. If you don't want the very very big burguer, I would recommend the "mali" one that is in reality the normal size. Place looks like a typical franchise restaurant, so nothing specially nice, however is near Tivoli park which can make you take away the food and find a nice spot in the grass.

if you haven't had horse meat, you should go and have a burger here and don't take the menaced meat take a stake or stake stripes.

I really wanted to try a horse burger - although I should have turned around after entering the dirty and cold container. 23€ for 2 burgers and a dismissive portion of soft fries.

One of the Ljubljana burger old-school classics. Not a craft burger but definitely comfort food.

You order a burger without tomates, the first thing they put in the burger is tomatos, in front of you. Charging 8€ for a bad burger, while usually you pay 6.5€ for a full lunch in a decent restaurant.

Horse meat dishes - hamburgers, hot dogs, sandwiches. I ordered the horseburger which was really good, not only the meat but the huge bun and the nacho sauce! 8€ for regular size, 6€ for small one.

I LOVED IT!!! The perfect place to taste a real horse, i loved the horse burger too much but i try and the one with the horse steak and it was delicious too.i recommend it extremely, if you visit Ljubljana you have to taste horse 100%

Staff are a bit cranky but the horse burger is still worth a stop by. Conveniently across from Union Brewery. Great food to sober up to!

Stopped here one night after a few beers at the brewery. The guy behind the counter was awesome and a great conversation and the burgers hit the spot.

The horse burger was not so tasty. But the dressing was horrible. The burger bread was old and wet. The vegetables inside weren’t so good. I only liked the horse meat which was average. I gave 2 starts just because they are serving horse meals and you can sit outside at at the Tivoli park. But I wouldn’t come again.
