Great and fantastic place in the city. They have typical Bosnian high quality food. All the dishes we tried were really tasty and delicious. The service was great. All the staff treated us gently and they were quite effective. I would have appreciated a bit of explanation of the dishes by the waitress instead of taking for granted we knew what we were ordering . The dishes were overpriced, specially the “sides” fries, bread and the white creamy sauce.

Delicious food, wast menu, friendly waiters and good coffee! Family friendly. We had steaks, baked lamb and veal with salads and fries. Prices are quite affordable and we will come back again!

A premium bosnian restaurant, with a special, rustic and authentic bosnian vibe, is a right place for a lunch and dinner with friends or colleagues. There's a plenty to choose amongst authentic bosnian dishes, as with drinks, too. Meals are very tasteful and quite abundant, but also easy to digest.

Ok this places was a total surprise. Food is SO good and portions are HUGE! We ended up taking food home. Service was amazing, they explain to us the meals and made recommendations of dishes that we had to try. The Turkish coffee and the desserts, oh man! We had a great dinner for an affordable price.

Such a great place, the wine is awesome and the pita is the best ever. Staff was also very welcoming and helpful. Will come back!

The best cooked food I have ever tried in my life. So many different dishes, so tasty so delicious. Service is very professional , very pleasant atmosphere with great music in the background and interior design absolutely amazing. I have visited Ljubljana for the first time and I spent every day in this restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner. I enjoyed it so much.

Great service and food. I dont have much to say it. I went there twice. They are serving halal food. There is a parking area in front of the resturant. They have an indoor and outdoor seating. We ordered multiple dishes all were great. The only comments I have; normal seasonal salad, didn’t expect the beef burger to be served like this (it was a big piece of round beef and they served us bread on the side) it will be good to explain it to the customer so they will know what to expect. The female waiter was polite and professional

A bit expensive but all food was delicious and in good portions. Service a bit slow and rude , the waitress commited a mistake with my order ans she was angry with me because I didn't want to eat what she had brought to me. Overall, it's a nice place to have traditional Bosnian food

We made reservation for New Year’s Eve at 7pm on the phone. It got confirmed. As the place is close to our hotel we walked by two days before and they confirmed it in person again. When we arrived there on New Year’s Eve…it was closed. No heads up, no information beforehand. Then it was not possible for us to find another nice restaurant. Really disappointing!

First impressions were good! Parking place, nice traditional interior, excellent menu but…. The restaurant is starting at 10 am ( It was Sunday ). We came at 11 am and asked for cevapi ( it is one of most unique product from Bosnian kitchen and their restaurant ) and he answered nervously that it was not prepared yet and we can not get it. He was in hurry but he has only two tables to serve. We asked for burek/pita but he told us he has not prepared all kinds of pies. We said okey and we order what he suggested. My friend got a completely different kind of pie compare with that what he asked for. We said to him and he offered to us to order another one ( but still we have to pay for wrong one ) and we should wait minimum 20 minutes. We did not wanted it. My friend did not have a breakfast. I asked to pack me one extra pie and he bring me ( you will see at the photo ) to do it by myself! Completely disappointed with stuff… I gave two stars only because spinach pie was really good!

Very cozy atmospere and delicious Balkan cuisine. It was just a quick meal for us because we were in a hurry but we will definitely come again. Soups were fantastic :)

I can say that when someone mentions the city of Sarajevo... my mind doesn't go to the Sač or Željo I automatically think of the cheese pie from Saraj. I ate this pie from Constantinople to Berlin but here is always something special for me. When I'm in Ljubljana I always try to find time to take home a croissant from Ana bakery and at least a pie from Saraj. Even if it is cold it retains all its juiciness as if it had just been taken out of the oven. Unfortunately it wasn't that long ago when I paid for this pie a little over 5 euros then 7 and now 9. I don't mind the price as long as it doesn't show on the quality of the composition but I'm afraid that it will give more attention to the tourist who visits it maybe once and loses a simple man who will reach for a copy past pie from a bakery's that grow like mushrooms after rain . I'm sad when one of the good restaurants quickly become a smaller canteen only for the journey of hunger and where you actually don't even remember the food anymore. Personally for me when talking about baščaršia and the big market in Istanbul you no longer add: oh how I would like to eat that pie from Saraj now. Probably a crisis has come to visit here as well, which is affecting a good staff in the kitchen. I have to say that next time I would very much like your čevapčići to be juicy again and not a dark burnt. Today, unfortunately, everything was black. If someone were to visit this restaurant for the first time today they would probably give it 0 star. Personally I probably wouldn't even mention it because I think that some things don't even deserve to be mentioned. But because of all the goodies I've eaten here I believe that you will also correct this minor mistake in a short time. Be that Saraj again that is mentioned at least from Goricko to Piran. Everything else comes with constant effort.

Great place for lunch. Not crowded. The food was good and there were lots of interesting dishes. Too full to try desserts, but they looked good. As a rebuttal to someone who complained about paying 29eur for 1 person for lunch, I'd say we ate for 23eur for 2 people and were totally full. So if you order the main dish at most other places, this one will be just fine for you.

Generous portions. I would definitely recommend the soup! A lot of meat dishes since it's Bosnian cuisine. However, the food was a bit salty for me.

It was my first time trying bosnic cuisine. I got the fried chicken steak saraj. Although i really liked it the portion was massive for me. Couldn’t finish it! They’ve got halal meat options 🍗🤎

They turned on the lights at 22:30 and they work until 23:00. They had a post that there will be live music and there was none. Not to mention that one scoop of kajmak is 8€! I will definitely not be coming back.

Drank coffee there and it was really good. Turkish coffee in copper cezve. It is Bosnian restaurant with a lot of good traditional food. Good ambient and lot of space.

I enjoyed an excellent meal here recently. I was very surprised when I got the bill, way less than I expected. Really nice cooking and excellent service. Highly recommended.

Best lamb and veal in the city, pies are hand made and top, cevapcici amnong the best in Ljubljana! Try trahana soup or other corbas...

Terrible, half of the menue not available leaving you with very minimum choices. Very poor quality of chicken Ražnjiči as it's not shewed at all and they charge me for young chicken meat while it was older than a grandma. Expensive resturant for very poor quality of food and service. Not recommended at all

Tasty Balkan food, friendly service. Deserts as sweet as they should be, you won't find modern low-sugar, low-fat, no-taste nonsense here.

If you like true, genuine Bosnian cuisine, you must visit this restaurant. Perfect "pita" as well as meat. The staff is kind and proffesional but not being to stiff which is definitelly a plus. Prices are reasonable.

A must-try in Ljubljana! The food is absolutely amazing, the staff is friendly and hardworking, the atmosphere is great, and the prices are very reasonable. A real dining gem!

The only true bosnian restaurant in city. A taste of oriental kitchen very seldom found in other restaurants. Must give then five stars for original am ient and hospitality.

Reastaurant with Bosnian dishes in warm ambient :) Starters are excelent and food is very good with prices around 15-20€ for a plate (you can find some dishes around 10€). At the end of meal you can choose from delicious Bosnian sweets or coffee.

Great food, cozy and beatiful place. Also relatively cheap. Definitely worth the 20min walk from the busy centre. Make sure to try the cevapcici!

They were so kind and the food was good. The waitress was really helpful and competent even if I don't speak the language she was so nice and helpful. I'll come back because of her!
