Great little hotel in the center of town. Close to all shops and places of interest. Room was cozy and clean. Breakfast offered was simple but good. Staff were friendly and helpful.

The layout of the hotel is unique, as it is not a classic hotel, but a courtyard where the rooms are in different buildings. The hotel is really good. The rooms are exceptionally large and well equipped and clean. The staff are nice. Breakfast is a buffet and fair, with a wide food variety to choose from, which are constantly refilled. The Based on the services and furnishings the hotel is more likely to be a 3+ or 4 star one. Despite actually being in the middle of city center, the prices are very friendly. If you're not looking for luxury and don't mind the views of the courtyard, it's worth a try.

The Location of the hotel was perfect for a stay in the city center. You could walk to nearly anything located in the city center within a couple of minutes. The room and the bathroom were totally fine but nothing special. Sadly there was no breakfast offered and only little information about what to do in Ljubljana. If you plan on arrive with a car definitely book a parking spot in advance.

Clean and nice rooms. Dog friendly a big plus. Would recommend. Right in downtown. You cannot get here by car. Will need to park outside of city center and walk in.

Perfect location - very central, literally a 30 second walk to the centre square. Very clean room, slightly basic but perfect for a short visit or break.

Great location. Rooms ar clean and OK. Only air condition heating in December. No shower gel in the shower and broken light in hallway. Pretty expensive.

Most welcoming and helpful host Mario, perfect location, nice big and clean room with lovely view of castle! Parking is just a few minutes away, road is flat and mostly through the pedestrian area, I came with two kids and two suitcases without any trouble. This is our second stay here and we plan to keep coming back.

For what you’re paying for this, you honestly cannot complain. Sure, it’s not a 5* hotel, and it has some quirks in its design, but everything else about this hotel is great. Staff were friendly and helpful enough, and even though we arrived early, they allowed us to store our bags and come back. The bag storage room was a little questionable, but functional. The room itself was modern and spacious. I think we got lucky actually with our room, since it seemed to be one of the biggest and had a nice view of the castle, and a balcony! But in general you wouldn’t be able to complain about anything even if you didn’t have this nice little free upgrade. The best part of this hotel though, is without a doubt the location. You really couldn’t ask for anything better! Smack bang in the centre of the city, a stroll to the old town, round the corner from the river, and so so convenient. If I was coming back to Ljubljana, I’d definitely stay here again, especially for the value for money.

Location is fantastic! You are in city center but tucked away from the noise of the town. You feel completely safe when you stay here. The room where we stayed is on the ground floor which can startle you awake when guests arrive or depart. The rooms can use a little updating but they are clean. We got our clothes washed for only €6 & some change. The staff is helpful. Overall a good value.

My colleagues and me, four of us in total, stayed here for a business trip for 4 nights. Well located - very close to everything. Very friendly and helpful staff - they helped us lock our luggage in a locked room before our rooms are available. They helped us book a taxi to the airport, brilliant! The first three nights it was VERY QUIET (very important to me!) but the last night there were two guys talking outside the whole night - I could see them from my window - very annoying so I turned on the air-co and ventilation in the bathroom to mask it. But I still heard them at 3 A.M… Very clean rooms. Points to improve: 1) perhaps more varieties of food provided at the breakfast session. But hey, it is really cheap so perhaps I should not expect too much! You can easily get full with balanced nutrition. 2) the position of the shower head is very inconvenient and cannot be adjustable. I wish it could be higher. I highly recommend it!

I don't know what more could anyone ask from a 2 star hotel, it has renovated rooms that are clean,warm and comfortable, a very decent breakfast and an unbeatable location,but still quiet. Perfect for its price, Iwould definitely stay here again.

In the very center of Lubiana, super quiet and confortable hotel. The staff was super helpful and nice. Not expensive. Haighly recommended!

Terrible experience unfortunately for the price paid (120eur+ per night). Cold, ground floor room with no working heating. The hot water boiler in the bathroom was enough for one quick shower. The double curtains in the room didn’t give any privacy from outside seeing inside. Most tv channels didn’t work. The housekeeper started at 9am banging around in the hallway and vacuum cleaner with no soundproofing in the rooms. You could hear the neighboring rooms, people talking in the hallway and slamming doors - forget any sleep in here. Breakfast was incredibly sad in a soulless room, people crammed together, very little variety especially for sweet items. Understaffed so plates piling up everywhere (the one staff member was doing the best she could). Two stars reflect the excellent location in the heart of town.

Rooms vary dramatically here. Some are really good and some are awful. It’s a lucky dip. We stayed for 5 nights and our room wasn’t cleaned once. Our bins were overflowing. Great location though and mostly clean.

Clean rooms, very outdated rooms. Location was perfect, but the first impression was a bit scary. At check in the clerks were very friendly and talkative. Good experience overall.

The room was good looking and clean, although a bit cramped because there wasn't much place to lay the suitcases down, but we managed, and the beds were big and comfy. The bathroom was very nice, although there is no shower head holder high enough for anyone who isn't diagnosed with dwarfism to use. Breakfast food was average but the juice was super good, and there is ample choice. All things considered we had a good stay, but be aware that the hotel is in a pedestrian area, they provide free parking but it's a 5 minute walk away from the hotel.

I've stayed at this hotel for 6 days in July 2019 and I liked it. There was air conditioning, nice breakfast, laundry services for extra payment. The team is very kind and helped with all the issues I had. There were travellers on motorcycles and there is a possibility to park them in the yard. To be objective, some drawbacks: doors in rooms need renovation in the bottom as well as wall near the door needs a bit cleaning. In the outcome it's a great hotel and I may recommend it to everyone.

Simple but clean 3 stars hotel right in Ljubljana city center. Good breakfast, even under Corona restrictions. Friendly and helpful staff. Some minor maintenance would be a good idea. They haven't got their own parking but contract an affordable one some 5 to 10 min walk away.

If you have a family then this hotel is an absolute must stay when in Ljubljana. We stayed in room 701 and my kids said it was by far the best hotel room they have ever stayed in (and wanted to move in permanently). The room is huge and has a woodland scene curving around two walls from floor to ceiling. There is a large double bed for adults (with pull out beds underneath) but the real highlight is the kids beds. To get to them you have to climb up a ladder (imagine both kids sleeping on a top bunk). Despite being very high off the ground there is a net so it is very safe and the kids have their own lights. The kids absolutely loved it. The room also has velux windows in the ceiling that are motorised with blinds and sun shades. If arriving by car, be sure to get the parking address before you arrive at the hotel and head straight to the parking garage. It's about a 10 minute walk from the garage to the hotel. Parking near the hotel is an absolute headache so don't make the mistake of heading to the hotel first. Also, don't be put off by how the hotel looks on the outside.
