A dreadful rip off! We booked a superior room and specifically requested a quiet room on a high floor. They put us in the noisiest room possible, right by the street on the lowest floor. When I asked to have my original booking request honoured, “nothing could be done.” Which apparently included even the smallest gesture of goodwill to apologise for not being able to deliver this time. Rooms are full, it happens. But what matters is how you handle it, and this was really bad. It’s not difficult to show guests a little courtesy and just make it SEEM like you care even a tiny bit that they are spending almost 1000 euros in your business and are unhappy about the state of their room. For a five star hotel, this can only be described as an embarrassment.

Our room was very spacious, will all needed things like kettle, tea, coffee, bathrobe. It was really comfortable to be there. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and helpful :) The interior of the hotel is also worth mentioning. I would definitely stay here one more time if I visit Ljubljana again!

It was obvious from the very beginning that we made the right choice!! The staff is the biggest assett of this hotel! They were all very hospitable, extremely friendly and willing to help! They made homemade breakfast every morning. The location was amazing as well, with everything within a short walking distance.

Outstanding in every way!! From the rooms, to the staff, to the food and everything else. Other hotels need to learn form the Heritage!

Gorgeous individually named rooms, fantastic service and also right in the middle of town. Beds were very comfy and the hotel always smelled nice. The soaps provided by the hotel were also very nicely scented and lathered up well. Had a hot hike up to the castle and then down through town? Stroll back and have a shower and go back out again 😂 Also right around the corner from a really nice cocktail bar called Kolibri and a short walk away from some of the nicest restaurants in town. As it is in the no drive zone in town, get dropped off at the nearest point and call them and they will arrange a bag pickup for you. Would definitely stay here every time I come!

Wow, such an incredible hotel! We’ve stayed in several places across Slovenia, and this is by far the best one! Beautiful roomy rooms, super clean, delicious and healthy breakfast and awesome service (from booking to checkout!). Oh, and the location couldn’t be better!

We loved Hotel Heritage… i am writing this review on my last day here. Sad we are leaving. Super professional front desk ladies.. helped us in all ways and on all questions. Delicious Breakfast, lots of varieties. Location is perfect, in the heart of Ljubljana, surrounded by bars, restaurants, touristic sights. Had a rent car, was so easy to find a parking 3 minutes walk from the hotel. Rooms spacious, clean. We are definitely coming back here. Great Job, keep going

Very nice hotel in a prefect spot. The rooms are very clean and quiet. Breakfast is perfect with variety of delicious items to choose. The staff are nice and helpful. We arrived 2 hours early after a long flight and they kindly checked us in. I would highly recommend this hotel and will definately come back.

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel so much I booked it again for the end of the trip. Wonderfully located, rooms are comfortable, breakfast is great. Can’t speak enough about the hospitality and helpfulness of the staff! I would stay at this hotel every time coming into central Ljubljana!

Very good hotel in a great location. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The staff are friendly and always helpful. We loved the breakfast and the free coffee and tea in the dining room anytime in the day. So many dining places and bars in the area. Would stay here again when I visit Ljubljana in the future.

Phenomenal stay—great location, great staff, great (free) breakfast. We’ve been traveling for a few months and it was the first real breakfast we had had in weeks. The room was also lovely and the shower pressure was divine.

A stunning boutique hotel right in the middle of the main shopping / city area. You cannot get a better location for a city visit. Rooms are very well noise insulated so you have no idea that you're in a bustling noisy city center. Very modern, clean and enjoyable. Fantastic staff, really nice breakfast, comfy beds, modern functional bathrooms, everything you require of a great hotel. The only place I would frequent when visiting the city again

Hotel Heritage has an excellent location in the centre about 1 minute walk from the river and Ljubljana's wonderful pedestrian area. Many restaurants and sights are within a few minutes walk. The staff are very friendly and competent. The hotel and rooms are very clean and modern (historic but renovated). The breakfast was first rate.

Great location and a newly renovated beautiful hotel! It's an easy walk to the main attractions but still on a quiet street. It was perfect for our stay in Ljubljana and we wished we could have spent more time here. The breakfast was fantastic and I loved the homemade baked goods. There was a safe spot in their luggage room for our bikes which we greatly appreciated.

Everything about this hotel was excellent! The breakfast was great, best location, and the service was great! On arrival we received a welcome drink of Slovenian blueberry liqour which was very nice! Immaculately clean room, just a beautiful hotel in general. We will definitely return next time we visit ljubljana.

The hotel is right in city’s center in a very nice old building. The interior is very nice and clean with a lot of attention paid to details. Room was comfortable with a huge bed and large bathroom. Overall, a very nice place to stay in Ljubljana.

Extremely great service and location for a hotel. We arrived extremely early and was expecting the room not to be ready, but was surprised with a room and also breakfast complimentary. The staff were extremely helpful in explaining and prompt in service. Breakfast was exceptionally good

Could have been perfect but the noise from the loud chattering of the kitchen staff around 6:30am awake me. Sleep is important for me during travels so this stay is just ok.

A wonderful place with beautiful, but not huge rooms. Breakfast was a real treat, found some things that most hotel breakfasts don't have.

The staff and service at this hotel can't be beat. The people are very kind to their guests and nothing was ever too much trouble for them. Amazing, helpful and professional from the owners, reception, breakfast staff to housekeeping! Breakfast was among the best I have ever had with a wide range of options. (Lots of home made goodies, baked by the staff and the owner). Yumm!! The hotel is really beautifully decorated. Beautiful and extremely clean room!! The location of the hotel is just perfect!! Located right in the heart of the city, within walking distance to many of the main attractions and a number of bars and restaurants. Hotel Heritage is simply one of those hotels you wouldn’t mind going back to again and again if you are ever in Ljubljana.
