The only place to stay in Ljubljana if possible. Never have we felt so welcome or pampered in any other location. This hotel knows how to do a 5 Star service. From the rooms to the food and the advice. They have it all. We will be back for Christmas Markets in Slovenia 🇸🇮

Didn't stay at the hotel but went for a coffee with a friend. Personal: 10/10; anything else was dissapointing... ordered a lemon cheescake for 7€ - it was of the size of a tea spoon and tasted like sour cream for cooking... my friend ordered a brownie, 7€ as well - size was good but the taste was pretty bad not to mention that it was salty AF. Don't recommend!

I wished we could have stayed longer. Everything about our stay was terrific. The service was very friendly, from the ge tlemam who carried our bags both ways to the waiters in the restaurant. The breakfast was amazing and inventive dishes. Our room was large, with great details to keep the old while adding in modern amenities. We loved the anchor nightstand. We would stay here again if given the chance.

Such a well designed and well thought hotel. It is located near the lake, in the centre. The staff and the hotel team are extremely polite. There is beer and wine tasting. The breakfast was really good. I definitely recommend the hotel especially to guests with special dietary preferences (vegetarian, vegan etc.).

This hotel has set an impossibly high bar for others to follow! The best service I’ve experienced at a hotel anywhere. From the welcome cocktail to the box lunch they provided when we left at 4:30 am for a very early flight, they thought of every detail and pampered us. The rooms are lovely, each individually decorated with a story behind each. The breakfast is huge and delicious. Definitely book the fine dining option for dinner - one of the best meals I’ve had anywhere.

We didn’t have the opportunity to stay at the hotel but we dine at the restaurant and had our last beers before leaving. Food is really good. Amazing how some pate and bread can bring so much joy to your palate. The range of beer is extensive and the staff is very knowledgeable. Special shout out to Tara & Nate who helps us with our beer choices and transport to train station. Also, great view of the Ljubljana castle from a shade area.

Incredible hotel. Modern and stylish while still embracing the history of the area and original building. The level of service is truely world class. Every touch point of our stay was so enjoyable. Our room was stunning and super comfortable. Generous & complementary mini bar, lovely details and comfortable bed. You couldn’t ask for a better location, right here on the river in middle of it all. I do hope we can come back!

The Zlata Ladjica Boutique Hotel was one of the greatest experiences I have had during my travels around the world. Yes, the location is perfect. However, so too is their attention to details and unmatched hospitality to ensure my stay was exceptional. Plus, my room was amazing as well!

Extraordinary service. Lovely rooms. Great beds. Fabulous showers - lots of water and HOT :) So many little things that the staff do that make every day special. The spa is great - the best Turkish sauna I’ve ever had. The fact that you can reserve it and have it all to yourself - no awkward sharing, makes it completely relaxing. ….and here we are at Ljublaba airport eating the packaged breakfast they gave us as we have a 7am flight. Can’t wait to return. X

We loved our stay here. Too bad it was only for 1 night. The hotel is very well located, modern, lovely, and - importantly - has several sustainability initiatives going. For example, no tiny (wasteful plastic) shampoo bottles. Instead, there are large, refillable ones from L’Occitane. The bed and bedding were comfortable and high quality. We also didn’t hear a sound at night despite being in the middle of old town. We enjoyed high quality towels, an excellent set of in-room tea and coffee options, the free mini-bar, and the fruit and cookie welcome platter. The breakfast was copious and included only local high quality products. The staff are all amazing. I don’t know where to start but they made this one of the best stays ever. From the welcome drinks to the goodbye cookies, everyone was so helpful and polite and so professional, that there is no doubt where we will stay next time we are in Ljubljana. Thanks so much!

Excellent. Right on the river, next to Cobblers Bridge and the main square. Each room unique, fewer than 20 rooms (try to get one with a balcony) and a terrific breakfast and wonderful staff.

One of the best hotel stays ever. Service was beyond amazing and the rooms, linens, showers, etc rival the best hotels in the world. Great location in the middle of the city as well!!

I cannot recommend this place enough. The hotel is gorgeous and has a unique charm about it, the location absolutely marvelous, but what really makes a difference is the staff. Everyone was welcoming, beautiful, kind, joyful, attentive, natural, respectful… They made our stay in Ljubljana unforgettable and I only hope they can do the same for you. Thank you!!!

It’s always a great experience. The friendliest employees, excellent food, dog friendly, mesmerising location in the city centre, welcome drink, coffee machine and fresh fruits on the room. I have been to many hotels and in my opinion it’s the best one in Europe. Highly recommended. We will come back again as soon as we can. Greetings from Munich :).

We had the best night stay here, we wish that it had been longer and hope to return! The hotel is beautiful and the rooms are so well designed with ours having a great view of the city. However, what really makes it is all of the staff who make you feel so looked after. From the front of house to the bar staff, everyone was so friendly. The concierge Gregor was excellent. Absolutely in love with this hotel. The rooms are beautiful and comfortable, the location could not be better, and the service is excellent. From the moment you enter the lobby you feel taken care of. When we checked in they offered us a welcome drink and then took us to our room and shared a little bit of history about Ljubljana and how that history was translated into the design and decor of our room. My husband and I stayed here during our honeymoon and had the best experience. Zlata Ladijca will always hold a special place in our hearts and we hope to return for an anniversary.
