Just returned from a 2 night stay at Squirrels. Lovely little guest house, spotlessly clean, charming friendly hosts and lovely breakfast. Would highly recommend

Great location for walking up to the castle and around Llangollen. Host, Kath looked after us from the moment we arrived until we left. Delicious breakfast. Will recommend Squirrels to our friends.

Cath's kindness- drying our boots and sorting out some washing after we had a bit of a soaking on the trail. Amazing breakfast with Greek yogurt, fresh berries, porridge, filter coffee and delicious sausages bacon and tomatoes. Soft comfy beds. So so clean and David driving us to the path. You just have to stay there!

Very comfortable place to stay with lovely owners and an excellent breakfast. Easy walk into the centre a few minutes away and the canal is also just a few moments away (lovely walk to be had there). Heartily reccomend.

We absolutely love Squirrels and have been coming here for 25 years now on our own and with the kids. This is our second year with 'new' owners Kath and Dave. Kath and Dave are lovely, welcoming and kind. They were very happy to accommodate other at breakfast and Toby absolutely loved his sausage sandwich and Susannah her smokes salmon. Kath and Dave have built on the success of Squirrels and added lovely touches such as fresh milk and a drinks fridge. Breakfast was delicious and pre ordered the evening before which makes things easier. The location is great with free parking and and easy walk from town with restaurants, the river, railway and canal.

We had such a wonderful time at Squirrels Llangollen and couldn't recommend it more highly. We were a group of 4 staying for a weekend across a couple of rooms. All rooms were very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed. The location was central and everything from booking, to check in, and the duration of our stay was very smooth and professional. The owners were so lovely and nothing was any trouble. Breakfast was also delicious too! Thank you Squirrels for a really fabulous stay!

Glad we stayed here. A nice house with a clean, comfortable room, a nice bathroom and off-street parking. Also a very short walk into town. Would definitely recommend. The innkeeper was very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent. Between the two of us, we had the full Welsh, porridge oats, yogurt and fruit. About the only thing we can suggest is to add light blocking curtains to the window for decor, comfort and to keep the room darker for sleeping late.

Kath and Dave are a fantastic couple who can't do enough to ensure you have a great stay. They're really welcoming and friendly and take pride in what they do. Amazing (huge) breakfasts, lovely rooms, great location (5 minute stroll to centre of Llangollen), very comfy TV lounge, private car park and sunny garden. Would gladly stay again when back in the area. Highly recommended. Thanks Kath and Dave.

We only stayed one night but hope to stay here again. Our room was immaculately clean and well equipped. Beds were very comfortable. Shower room small but again everything needed was there. Amazing breakfast and very helpful hosts. A great find!

Wonderful Victorian House, kept spotlessly clean, and with the very best and incentive service. Great location for walking and a five minute stroll into the town centre. Well worth it's 4 stars and will definitely visit again next year. Thank you Lil and staff...

Always a warm welcome. Rooms are spotless, always to a high standard and a welcoming host. Just a short walk from the restaurants, river and canal, and surrounded by the most beautiful countryside. There's no better place to stay
