Great food, the beans and tacos were great. Great size for a burrito. The prices are good and not over priced at all. The steak meat is not really the same steak meat as other taco places. But over all it's a great place, and the food was great. I would say if you want a good price and a good meal go here you won't regret it. Wnjoy the meal it's good.

I've been coming here since the opened. They have gotten worse over the years. Steak tacos are drier every time I come, lady argued with me because she refused to fill up my cup entirely. Saying it's a pre measured drink. I paid over $25 for my food and I honestly sad to say I am no longer coming back to this place again. Customer service has went down hill and the female owner is super rude. Not appreciated and they don't deserve my buisness

We ordered tacos here before and they are good, not great. The steak tacos are my personal favorite. I was craving churros and picked some up. We ordered the chocolate and vanilla flavors and they both seemed like plain churros. There wasn’t any filling, flavoring or dipping sauces so I’m not sure what the flavors are. I would definitely give it a try, its clean and good 🌮

We had Taco Patio cater our party yesterday and everything was absolutely fantastic! Received so many compliments about how great the food was. Have a family member with a gluten allergy and they made everything with corn tortillas including the quesadillas! Highly recommend!!!

It's okay, but not your standard Mexican restaurant dine in experience. No complimentary chips and salsa, side sauces are bland. Also the food was not great. I ordered a steak burrito and the meat was not of good quality. It was wet and soggy like it was made in a slow cooker the day before. My friends agreed, their food was lacking too.

It’s been a while since I’ve tried to find a quality Mexican restaurant but unfortunately my search still continues. I used to go to a local place in Romeoville (El Barrio Mexican Restaurant) which went down in quality once the owner retired and sold the business. I read the reviews and decided to give Taco Patio a try but I was left highly disappointed. I ordered a Steak Burrito Dinner and a Churro. First, let me say the Churro was tasty and I would order that again if I were to visit Taco Patio in the future. However, with that said, I was a bit surprised to see the cheese was on the outside rather than inside the burrito. I guess that’s not a big deal as flavor wise I tasted the cheese perfectly fine. The issue at hand comes from how dry and poor tasting the steak was. I can’t quite put my finger on it but it had a strange texture and didn’t taste much like steak at all. I ate half the burrito and couldn’t take it anymore so I threw the rest away. The rice and beans were better than the steak burrito but even those weren’t great. I’ll give credit where it’s due though. The young man that took my order was very professional and polite. I was handed my food by someone else, who may have been the manager, and was greeted with a thank you and have a great day. Staff wise you have a very inviting crew and I appreciated that. I just can’t understand how the steak is so dry and flavorless.

I've been coming here regularly for a year or two. The service is always fantastic- super attentive, and quick - even late at night which is super rare. The food is great, especially for how cheap it is. There's no other place I'd rather get food at late at night. Please support this independent business for they deserve it for all their hard work. If you're vegetarian, get the stuffed pepper burrito. So great.

Meh. Really wanted to like this place, the reviews looked good, menu looked decently authentic and they were open late. Taco flavor was off(got al pastor which was doused in seasonings resembling al pastor but took a left turn flavor wise), they seemed a little confused that I wanted onion and cilantro in my tacos, which normally is standard at most places and doesn't raise eyebrows. The churros were good, really the only thing I truly enjoyed. The elotes were drowning in mayo, like more mayo than corn kind of drowning. The sauces were actually good too(red and green) but tacos couldn't be saved by the sauce alone. Maybe if I had been going for more of the American style choices(lettuce and tomato, taco salad, e.t.c) it would be less of a let down.

Hands down one of the BIGGEST Burritos if not the Biggest around ! Don't even Bring up the Horchatta ! 🖤🖤🖤. Customer service is always Top of the Line ! You'd be sleeping if you haven't tried Taco Patio Out yet !

Visited Taco Patio on a friend's recommendation, and I was quite impressed! The food was amazing and the price is so much cheaper than any fast food place! I got the chicken taco with pita bread. The flavor was incredible! I will be back and highly recommend giving this place a try! Also they are open very late!

Last time I ordered Uber Eats from here I ordered 5 steak burritos for me and my family. The meat looked like they opened a can of dogfood and poured it into a shell, I ordered steak not canned dog food. We all ate our burrito and felt like absolute garbage after sick to our stomach. I have eaten here about once a month since it has opened, This place has went downhill fast. Was actually excellent when they opened which is very sad. Will definitely never order here again and advise everyone to find a different place to eat. I'm scared next time I order steak they might have a meat contract with the morgue. Because that's how disgusting the meat was, looking back I wouldn't have fed it to my dog.

I like Taco Patio and they give you a great portion for your money compared to most Mexican Restaurants. I go there often with friends. They have friendly service and good workers. The only thing that keeps them from getting 5 stars in my mind is that they don't provide chips and salsa when you sit down and eat. That is the one thing I personally love about Mexican places is the chips and salsa kind of like the Italian places that give bread al the time as a free item before the meal. Taco Patio if you add the chips and salsa I think you might get more customers in my opinion.

First and last time at this place. Ordered 2 steak and 2 chicken tacos. The steak was tough and dry. The chicken tacos came with so much sour cream it literally oozed out of the taco. And then the second all of the sour cream was in the paper it came wrapped in. Asked for new ones and the manager got an attitude “well how do you want it made exactly”. I said “I’d like them edible and the sour cream actually on the taco”. Got the new ones after she smooshed them onto the table and the chicken is dry and tough. Only saving grace was the polite kid at the cashier counter. He apologized and tried to help.

Ordered a steak burrito. Looked like ground beef. Took a few bites, but had enough. It was not a good flavor. The horchata had a funny taste to it, but I was really thirsty so I drank most of it. I used to go there when I lived in the area 2 years ago and it was decent then. But this last visit was tough.

Great food. Fresh. Enjoyed all of it. Love the fresh salsa.

Very cool manager, owner I presume. The place is efficient and immaculate. I like the fish tacos, and their large burritos is two meals. Highly recommended.

If i could rate it 0 stars i would. Food tastes horrendous and we didnt even finish half of it. Threw it away and swore to never go back. Steak tacos dodnt even look like steak and tasted like the saltiest greasiest meat ever. No idea why this place has above 2 stars. Gave me a stomachache that night as well. Save your money and dont go here please.

Just spent $32 on 2 dinners and chips and guacamole. One dinner wasn't what we ordered, the guacamole and chips had zero flavor to it, it wasn't even edible, the chicken was dry and flavorless and steak was some sort of shredded steak that was a weird texture and zero flavor as well. By far the worst tacos I've ever had. We threw majority of it all away. What a waste of money.

Delicious food and friendly staff. We went just before closing but the staff was very patient and served us fresh hot food. Do try their stuffed pepper taco as they are amazing

The food was so delicious! You get so much food for the money and you can just tell how fresh it is. I’m talking straight off the grill fresh! Can’t wait to go back!

Never fails. Steak tacos taste the same and are filled with lettuce tomato and cheese. If you’re craving this taste they never disappoint. Open until midnight on weekdays also.

Great food, and excellent service. I live in southern Illinois, but we make sure to stop at Taco Patio, every night we're up there. The food is great, that staff is friendly, and it's fun hanging out on the patio, late night. Also, can't forget, the churros are fire! It's a must, if you're in the area.
