Very good food and great service! I love their angel hair noodles and kung po chicken.

UPDATE: Ok, so it's been about 4 years since the last update. We've continued to order out from Great Wall and haven't been disappointed once. What we enjoy most is the freshness of the ingredients. We joke that they must go next door to Berkots to get fresh produce for every order! If you're anywhere near Great Wall, stop by. ORIGINAL (2018): Hot and sour soup, and steamed pot stickers are amazing. Food is always fresh.

I ordered the sweet and sour chicken plate from Great Wall and it was awesome. Sauce was delicious and was given a good amount. The portion was more then I expected and very good packaging. I recommend .

I prefer to eat there anytime I get the craving for Chinese food than any other restaurant in the area. They have good food, accommodate all my requests, and have wonderful lunch specials. The atmosphere is that of a take-out restaurant even though they offer tables for people to sit and eat if they so choose. I also find the presence of their kids encouraging. It is a family restaurant and their kids sit in the dining area doing schoolwork and such rather than sending them to daycare - makes perfect sense to me!

Usually have no issue here, but today we found a piece of metal in one of the dishes that we ordered. Looks like it is part of a can when it was opened or something.

Great Wall is the best Chinese in Lockport! (Since China Wok has closed in Lemont, the Great Wall in Lockport is the best Chinese in the area). The lunch specials are a great price for the generous amount of food you receive. The egg rolls are amazing, and Kung Pao is always good (be sure to ask for “extra extra Spicey”). This is definitely the best Chinese food in Lockport (for delivery or takeout). Pagoda House (across the street) is the absolute worst, but Great Wall is absolutely delicious! The owners are friendly, food portions are large, meat and food quality is excellent and the food is always amazing!

Very bland. Almost no vegetables in fried rice or sweet n sour sauce. Didnt even end up eating the left overs.

Dumbfounded at these 4 and 5 star reviews, spent $55.00 on my family for dinner let me tell you the chicken fried rice was completely bland, absolutely no taste, not one bean sprout or onion for added taste. The Mongolian chicken was also flavorless with minimal taste. If it were not for the added soy sauce that made it taste tolerable. I did however like the egg rolls those were fresh otherwise the whole thing was disgusting. For Chinese somewhat better go to Pagoda one block east on the opposite side of the street not much I better I'll give them 3 stars.

I usually dont post negative reviews but the food was very tasteless. There were no vegetables in the Sweet and Sour sauce nor the Chicken fried rice. While there was plenty of Shrimp in the shrimp fried rice (but again no vegetables), there wasn't in the Egg foo young, and again no real taste. The service was good though. I regret to say, there are much better choices for Chinese food in Lockport and surrounding areas.

The food in this Chinese restaurant is very bad, I bought a combination meal, the beef inside is actually bad, stinky, hope not to eat here, will definitely regret it. Get out of here.
