What an impressive restaurant! Super delicious food and super nice people! We had a family dinner there and everyone was satisfied with the food and service. Talking to the owner let me know their professional attitude and kind heart. Definitely it is our first choice. Love it!

Had a great lunch at this wonderful addition to the lockport community. Ended up trying the lunch menu chicken pad Thai which included a soup. Great portion size, good heat for medium spicy, and all for $8.00 lunch menu! Will definitely return. So happy for a decent Thai place in town!

Fresh and tasty! The papaya salad was tasty, there weren't any green beans in it, but it was still delicious. Loved the fried tofu and the tasty sauce. They are generous with the peanuts, which to me, makes it extra tasty. The red curry was delightful, fragrant and warming. I will definitely be back! The service was fast and friendly too! Casual atmosphere, everyone that came through seemed very happy!

Small, unassuming place, but had a kind young woman who made recommendations (which we took!) and made us feel welcome even an hour before closing. I cannot pronounce the dishes we had, but they arrived quickly and hot. Everything was very flavorful and well-prepared. I was very pleased with the steaming broth-y meal on a chilly evening. Two small notes: 1) Although we were the only ones dining inside, it seemed that most people get there stuff for take-out, so don't be alarmed if you don't see anyone sitting inside eating. 2) Although it wasn't necessarily dirty, the bathrooms needed a refresh (probably because they aren't used very often). All-in-all, if I was in the area, I would happily revisit this place. Not only thank you to the lady at the counter, but the people who prepared our meals hidden back in the kitchen, too!

The massaman curry was amazing and unique. The Tom Yum soup was good. The server was very nice.

Super friendly service. The food had a very unique yet delicious flavor to it. We will definitely be coming back to this place in the future. Highly recommend trying it out for yourself.

Underwhelmed on first visit. I’ll give another chance with a rice or curry dish. The pad Thai I had was a good sized portion, but it lacked any sweet/sour elements that distinguish the dish. No peanuts to be found in dish or served on side per menu. Also when I asked for some I was given what looked like a mixed nut powder/piece mix. Wrong flavor and could be death for my kid if he was with me as severe tree nut allergy. The fresh spring roll and peanut sauce was very good…though a bit more pork in each would make better

I ordered the fresh spring roll not fried, no pork, hot and sour soup with chicken and the Basil chicken fried rice. Spring rolls were fried. Hot and sour soup, all broth, no yummy veggies and sparse in not chicken. Fried rice was excellent, great heat great flavor. I called to complain about the spring roll, and was told yes they were fried, but I could’ve ordered fresh. I disputed that as I had already ordered fresh spring, roll, not fries, no pork. The young man would not listen to what I was saying, so I told him I would just not go back. Hot and sour soup is one of my favorites, I try it at every Thai restaurant I come across. This was totally lacking. Broth was nice but too much of it. No goodies. And no I won’t go back.

My wife and I stopped in today for lunch and fell in love with the food and the incredibly kind family that owns the restaurant. What an incredible addition to Lockport! This is hands down the best Thai food I have ever had. We are moving out of state next month and I’m so sad that we won’t be able to enjoy their food after we leave! We’ll eat here each time we are in town. Incredible. Simply delicious!!!!

Had a group of 17 take over the place tonight. Great food and good fun for our bunch. Treated us exceptionally well and can’t wait to go back. So many good dishes.

I typically don’t leave reviews because more often than not the reviews by the masses show an accurate representation of the place of service. Needless to say I was excited to try Zaap Zaap Thai, but I didn’t expect to be impressed beyond the 4.6+ stars, and I was absolutely blown away. The Tom Kah soup was deliciously balanced between spice, acid, and earthiness. The pad Thai is the best I’ve had in a VERY long time. The iced Thai milk tea was a sweet and refreshing palate cleanser. If I could give the family and restaurant more than 5 stars I would. My wife and I are moving to Ohio in a couple of weeks and we are so disappointed that we waited this long to try their delicious food. We will absolutely be back before we leave.

I ordered take out and placed my order for their Pad Thai with pork. It wasn't good at all and I ended up throwing it away. The pork and noodles were both over cooked and the sauce was sweet. There was no spice to the dish whatsoever. Maybe they were having a bad day because this place has so many 5 star reviews.

Food and service were good, however, we dined in & I felt like I was in someone's basement. The owner(s) put no thought into how this place looks. 4 tables on each side, 2 of which are close to the door so that every time it opened we got hit with a cold breeze. 2 chest freezers & storage racks IN THE EATING AREA, WTH??? Child's stroller & push toy also in eating area. I can't speak to the women's restroom, but if was anything like the men's it was disgusting. Men's room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a year, and there was storage in there as well. My overall impression of Zaap Zaap is this... pretty good food served in a dump. This place is take out only.

Great food and friendly environment. I’ve only done carry out, but each visit has been fantastic and the food is soooo good. Love the spicy pad Thai shrimp and spring rolls!

Had New Years Eve dinner here a few years ago and have loved it ever since. Very nice people work here.

This is the best authentic Thai restaurant we have been to and can make almost any dish Vegan or Vegetarian. The owner makes each dish very flavorful and the food is exquisite. When they make vegan food for us it has so much flavor. The best Thai and vegan we have been to yet.

They can make their dishes Vegan and we had top tier Vegan pad ka pow and kee mow woonsen noodles. The owners are very friendly and the food was full of authentic flavor. This is the best Thai restaurant I have eaten at in years.

Holy smokes, this place was good. Just going in, we liked the vibe of the place and myself and 2 friends really enjoyed our meals. The portions were great and the food was amazing. I'm a big fried rice guy and I think their basil fried rice dish was the best I've had. There were so many different flavors that all coalesced to make an overall delicious dish, with a great mix of ingredients. Most satisfying meal I've had in a while :).

the family that owns this place is very kind! the food is amazing and the boba is incredible. i’ve had boba from tons of restaurants that specialize in it and still i always go back to zaap zaap. i’ve loved everything i’ve tried from here and i recommend this place to everyone i know

We're big fans of this place, especially of the basil fried rice. A staple of my family's takeout choices. One of the only places with good boba tea in the Lockport area.

Got the chicken and rice and pad Thai from the food truck. Both dishes disappointed… The sauce for the chicken and rice ruined my dish. It was way too salty… terrible flavoring. The pad Thai was pad Thai— meaning pretty basic and boring.

I ordered the Shumai and Fried Spring Rolls. I did not enjoy the Shumai, wasn't like what I am used too. They are pretty big though. The Fried Spring Rolls were very good.
