A very big, newish store with the lower level all undercover parking and travelator, stairs and lift access to the store itself. I always enjoy the the wide variety of indoor and outdoor plants available and they're in good condition. But the best is the cafe that produces rather good tasting coffee.

Worst bunnings experience ever. Under staffed. Staff clueless staff unhelpful. No staff around to help. 3x staff said they would look after me after their current customer,3x they went to someone else next. Had to go to tool shop and wait in line for 5mins to get someone to have 1min to help me... then they dend me to service desk and then service desk send me all the way back to the item where i had to wait for someone to come and get the item down. Waiting to wait.... much time to sit and be annoyed and write this review.. Waiting and Walking around i found a step... I'll get it down myself... Far CRY from Ballarat Bunnings...

I like this Bunnings store and most of the staff are really good. However, the Special Orders Service desk is a very big weak link in this store. I would say they provide bad service except for the fact that there is almost no service. We purchased some blinds and blind installation from them. We paid upfront and in full. Service desk attendance is poor and it was difficult to find them. We ordered the blinds and were told it would take 15 days. After 20 days, I called Bunnings to see if the blinds were in store and they told me that they would not go into production for another 16 days and would be ready in 20 days. I do not know why Bunnings had not followed this up with either the supplier nor me. In fact, it seems that my call to Bunnings prompted them in following up in the order! In addition the process of ordering the blinds and installation was confusing and I have paperwork from all 3 providers. I am skeptical if I will get these blinds in another 20 days. A big THUMBS DOWN to the Special Orders Service Desk at this store.

My experience at Bunnings Underwood today was incredibly disappointing. Sheryl, the staff at the refund desk, not only displayed a disrespectful attitude but also showed a lack of professionalism and competence in her role. She failed to listen to my concerns, demonstrated unfamiliarity with her responsibilities, and shockingly refused to show me the receipt during a refund process. The absence of any apology compounded the frustration. Immediate action and thorough training are essential to rectify these issues and ensure better service for all customers. Very unpleasant experience!

My wife & I purchased flowers & garden goods to over $130 value & checking the docket before leaving the counter ( because it seemed a lot more than we thought), found incorrect prices on some of the items. The section manager told us it would take some minutes to fix the bar code reader, but would give us a discount for our wait & correction. This he did without our demand & also apologised for the equipment malfunction Great service & thanks to him.

Massive store with lots of variety and friendly staff. Plenty of car parks with covered parking as well. There's a small playground next to the cafe which is located down the left-hand side of the store when you walk

Customer service training is required with some of your staff. I had to exchange a flood light that did not work. While annoying I was like "ok sometimes this happens". Walked into the Returns desk and was greeted by the lady behind the desk with "What!". Taken back a little by her rudeness I replied with "I would like to exchange this flood light as it isn't working" to which I got "What about it isn't working!" I simply informed her that it wasn't turning on (i.e. Not working). With a huff, she processed my exchange and gave me a printed-out credit to use at the checkout. Went and got my replacement light then there was the challenge of finding a manned checkout. The Bunnings staff member at the self-serve checkout pointed me in the direction of the checkout at the tool shop with the woman with her hand up waving. I went over to the checkout and waited while she was talking to another staff member. When she had finished she looked at me with a grumpy look on her face and said "What!" I explained I needed to process a credit/exchange and you would swear I had just asked her to clean a yard full of portable toilets and not do her job. Looking at other negative reviews there seems to be a very common theme potentially with the same staff members. Unfortunately, this is the closest full-sized Bunnings near me as I'm in no hurry to go back especially if I need to deal with the staff.

Very good place to find all kind lawn mowers, beautiful carpets, furniture and specially it hav a nice playground for children

Mixed feelings, 5 Stars for the kids sections with the Bluey Scavenger hunt, Kids DIY and playground. It's nice to get the kids involved and I suppose it's smart business sense. 3 Stars for overall store experience, pricing and quality. I think it's given the price and quality products are related, none the less, likely to find a variant of whatever you're after. Plenty of parking, plenty of staff on hand (Saturday 03/02/2024) and plenty of checkout opened.

Ok its a big store thst caters for almost most things but the service has dropped off over the years,when they first had stores the staff would run up and ask do you need help nower days they hide they dont assist like the gold old days .mind you prices are still through the roof

No trouble parking, nice and cool underneath to keep your car cool, it has a escalator and a elevator, to take you up to the shop,good staff,small cafeteria, very nice, and everything you would expect at bunnings, I take one star off I think the toilet,s could be a little bit better looked after.

It's big and it has lots of variet for the inspired handyperson or professional tradie. Trying to find exactly what you want can be a challenge. Trying to find a staff member who can help you might be your biggest challenge. Plenty of undercover parking where you will find the famous bunnings sausage sizzle on the weekends.

I would like to express what a wonderful experience it was to deal with Marty from Bunnings, Underwood. This elderly gentleman was so helpful and went the extra mile to help me as a woman I didn't know what exactly I was looking for and where to find it but he just guided me and gave me some expert advice. You should employ a lot more people like him as his service was exemplary and this is lacking in our society today. Please acknowledge Marty is whatever way you can. Thanks

All my last minute Christmas gifts were sorted out here in one place. Precision tool for father, mower for husband, indoor plant for nieces apartment. Too easy. Something for everyone.

Allowed me to remain in store without buying anything while my car was being serviced. They have like items of varying prices depending on your budget. They really look after their plant stock too. Impressed.

Went in today to grab some paint and was served by Wendy. I was confused by all the different variety but she knew exactly what to grab and the exact darkness I would need and tips. Made the trip there heaps easier and quicker.

Linda from the Garden Centre provided me with exceptional service. She was able to education me on the best particular tree that will provide privacy and fit into my space along my driveway. She also shared planting and ongoing care strategies - which I found very insightful and useful. Lastly, as the four trees desired weren't in stock, she was able to contact me once they did arrive and had them ready to go on a trolley near the counter. At times topics such as gardening can seem daunting due to the lack of understanding however after our extensive chat (or educational session) I immediately felt confident in my next project. Overall, Linda was professional, knowledgeable, resourceful, friendly and I dare say just brilliant!

I recommend Underwood Bunnings definitely. Everytime I’ve needed to come there I’ve had to drag my newborn and 7yr old along, the customers services is always on point. They are very caring and actually bring my items to my car. Definitely a game changer. It’s so convenient when my baby is sleeping.

Aside from the fact its just another Bunnies that sells a million items, which most can be bought elsewhere for cheaper if you care to search around. They do have the best prices of anywhere when it comes to Air Conditioners. I purchased a Mitsubishi Heavy Industries 6.3kW model SRK63ZRA-W Air Conditioner from here recently. Minus my powerpass discount of $80, it came to $1490.00, plus I got $200 dollars back through Mitsubishi's recent cashback promotion. The exact same Air Conditioner is sold across the road at airwaresales in Eileen St for $1,909
