First time visiting since the upgrade. The park has an area for younger kids, and the newer side for older kids, which has sun shades. Table tennis. Full length flying fox. Full sized basketball court. Skate area. Plus plenty of space to kick a ball around. Heaps of individual seating around the play area. Not many shaded tables, for such a large park. It also has toilets at the end of the basketball court. It's a decent park to spend a day out at.

Enjoyed the walking track that goes all the way from Ramu Street crossing the park bridge and continuing to Distillery Road and back. Makes for a descent walk and tired the kids out. Along the walk are a few park gym equipment stations as well as bench and shades for those looking to have park picnics or birthdays. We visited on what turned out to be a beautiful day weather-wise, kids spent about an hour in the kids park area and another 40 to 45 minutes walking the track. I'd imagine given the recent renovations and additions to this park it's more appealing to locals and would be pretty busy during the weekends. Nice park!!

Walking around park and found some old trees with metal embedded in them. Definitely had some stories to tell. BBQ, playground and peaceful area. Weekends there are often birthdays in picnic area. There is also a boat ramp and pontoon on the Albert River. Ramp is in very poor shape, not sure about the fishing.

Its got a variety of things to amuse all ages. And the trees, providing natural shade, are beautiful. Good BBQ facilities and new toilets.

Great park for the kids and dogs to play. My grandchildren love the playground, and we go here a lot nowadays. We need more parking thou as it gets very busy in the afternoons

It's a great park right on the river if you want to wet a line. There's plenty of space and shade and the skate park is big and alot of fun for all age's.

It was a bit quiet, which was understandable as we went during the week. However, it was definitely worth a visit. Great little area for a BBQ's taking the kids to burn some energy. Also has 2 fenced dog areas, 1 for small and the other for bigger 🐕

This park is fantastic. Has everything including a flying fox. Has a basketball court and also a skate park. Great place to take the kids. Is dog friendly but must be on a leash. Has a picnic area and restrooms etc.
