A fantastic place for a walk. Flat and easy to follow paths. Some areas may be a bit smelly due to the waste treatment plant being on the southern end of the reserve. Great for bird watching. Plenty of species to see (our group managed to see 60+ in one morning). There are also a few bird hides scattered around the wetland. If you are going in summer or after a rain be sure to bring the mosquito repellent. There aren't any public toilets on-site but there's a set opposite the sports field approx 50m from the wetlands car park.

Nice place to go for a stroll but needs work to keep it looking nice. Tracks are vastly overgrown.

The view is amazing and lots of wild animals in the area. Great for bird photography. Many campers in the car park. However, they are not the major issue. Have toilet and shower near the car park, never use them so can't comment on it. 3 or 4 bird hides in the park and it's clean and quite.

Small walks, full of bird life. Some paths are hidden by high grass and one of the lookout huts was clearly occupied by a homeless person (see photo) but overall a very pleasant place and a heaven for wildlife. Note for wildlife rescuers, you can come collect gum leaves here (you have plantations in one section)

Eagleby Wetlands are amazing home to an abundance of birds and other wildlife. There are 11 Wetland areas spread throughout Eagleby. At the present 9 out of the 11 are directly affected by the Coomera Connector project

The Eagleby Wetlands are hidden gem in Eagleby. Early mornings you can find hares, foxes, turtles and amazing bird life. Sunrise and sunsets are spectacular. Highly recommended!!!!

Beautiful walk through the wetlands with my three dogs. There is a small board walk with a bird viewing station over the wetlands. The walk takes only approx 20 minutes to complete but it is very pretty and we got to see at least 6 different species of birds.

This is an iconic birdwatching destination, but currently it is so overgrown that few of the usual lagoons are visible. The hides, of which there are several, all look across expanses of grass. Signposting is a little confusing.

The boardwalk area of the wetlands is completely dry and looks like it's full of weeds. There are bird hides around the place, but since it's dry, no birds to be seen. Perhaps it's wetter after heavy rain. The smell wasn't very pleasant either.

It is a park that borders the Albert River; the marsh here serves as a natural habitat for many different bird species. They are ambling through the mangroves, marshlands, and ponds. An easy-going trail follows a peaceful section of the Albert River that is lined by forests. A well-kept board structure enables us to observe wildlife more clearly and up close. In the actual wetland precinct, there are several grassy, shaded areas where a picnic mat can be spread out. There are restrooms provided, and dogs are allowed.

What an absolute gem. Such a beautiful place of healing with an abundance of biodiversity and enjoyed by so many people. I am however deeply saddened to learn that the coomera connector is planned to destroy part of this precious wetland. Such a shame that in a time where people are craving this connection to nature the powers in charge are so comfortable with destroying this slice of paradise

A beautiful little slice of natural paradise right in your backyard. Offers multiple walking tracks and tranquil rest spots. Discover the magic hidden around each turn as you explore this local gem for yourself. Plenty of parking and other facilities to enjoy.

Walked my dog and it was really enjoyable. Stopped a couple of times to look across the Albert River. Only saw one fisherman and the rest of the time was by ourselves. Loved it.

I love this place so much the wildlife that is there the sunrise is the sunset it is Tranquil and Serene and it's just a pleasure to be there even with the traffic in the background it seems to just dull all of that out and it's like you're sitting in the middle of Australia hundreds of miles away from any town it is just the most beautifulest place to go and the walking track is so winding that the rest of the world just disappears
