I am from Sydney and have been visiting my brother near Hillcrest this few months. During the very hot summer, I have been looking for a local cafe to grab coffee/ lunch while working at my laptop. This coffee shop is really the best one around locally. The coffee is great, the staff are always friendly (Hi Alyssa!! and the others, sorry, I didn't catch all your names!) The owner Arthur is a fantastic guy, you can understand why his staff are all very well mannered and friendly. The cafe fit out is very comfortable and relax, always chilled with AC! I highly recommend this cafe!

If you want a coffee, that is beyond what your taste buds expect and takes you to a whole new world of caffeinated heaven without the hefty price tag, taste my bean is the perfect place for you! Tiana at the Hillcrest store makes the absolute most heavenly cups of coffee one could get their hands on! She’s an absolute delight to talk to, and she honestly handles all customer service positively with grace, respect and puts so much love into making every cup of coffee that she does! Like Tiana, taste my Bean is one of the few cafes that I go to, and I am very pedantic about my coffee and food. The team there are so lovely and work together like a well oiled machine. I love going there for the positive, impeccable and friendly service, and I really hope that whoever reads this review has the exact same experience as myself!

The lady Vivienne that works there always does an amazing job with the beverages she makes! Cold drinks, frappe’s or hot coffee’s, she makes them the best! Hope she gets the recognition she deserves!

Absolutely fantastic spot to sit down for coffee. The coffees are amazing… even better with a pizza!! Thats right this coffee shop serves pizza! Fantastic service and by the looks on the girls faces a fantastic environment to get your morning drive thru coffee or a meeting. Anyway I can’t recommend this place enough.

My friend recommended this place to me and it didn’t disappoint! The shop was so clean and presentable. The staff were so lovely and smiley and so incredible friendship. Had a lovely chat with the lady behind the machine (think she had an undercut) but the service and coffee were amazing. 10/10!

Great coffee and staff especially Nikita always lovely and great service my only gripe is i paid 3.85 for a vegemite on toast but your raisin toast is 2 70 1.15 more for vegemite

Love having my coffee handed to me in the drive thru each morning with a cheerful greeting from one of the girls. Shoutout to the lady with the hand tatt (sorry I never catch the name) who always checks if the temperature of my coffee is ok after I mentioned to her I burnt my tongue after drinking a scalding hot coffee from Maccas. I’ve sat inside the store a couple of times too and it’s always been so clean even during rush hour. Coffee club could neverrrrrr.

The coffee was weak and far to milky. Food was great though.

Gotta love that drive through coffee pick up! Staff are always friendly and they go out of their way to make your drink exactly how you like it. If they fall short (rarely) they rectify asap which I appreciate. They’ve become my new favourite due to their highly expert consistency.

An insanely good frappe and coffee selection that has become a weekly tradition to grab for ourselves and the inlaws whenever we pop around to their house up the road. We have never been disappointed with our puchases. As the Husband of a paramedic who frequently visits here, I'd also like to thank them for keeping her caffinated during those long shifts.

We recently made our long-overdue first visit to TMB and enjoyed the experience. We kept it simple, grabbing a jumbo Chai Latte and a jumbo Flat White. Although we didn't regard them as extraordinary, they were still decent quality beverages that we both enjoyed. We also grabbed a vanilla slice and carrot cake, and they were really good. We tend to eat plenty of sweet treats on our travels, and these were definite winners. Although we didn't opt for anything else, the sizeable range of food options was appealing and we will head back to try some out. Last but not least, the service provided was prompt and friendly, even though the place (particularly the drive-thru) was quite busy at the time. My wife even commented on the speed of our order, so thumbs up there. In summary, TMB makes for an ideal coffee on the run, complemented by a naughty slice or a more substantial meal.

I don't even drink coffee (my partner does and says it's great though). I just like the great tasting food and super fast and friendly service. Cheap enough too.

I don't post reviews unless something is so good that it motivates me. Very delicious coffee, so good it could rival Melbourne coffees. Unsure if it was the beans or barista or what it was? Just randomly popped in, glad I did.

I love TMB, it is honestly the best coffee and the food varieties are amazing, I generally have a great experience as all the staff are so lovely, but today I was treated with such disrespect. I ordered a caramel cold brew as I didn't know they didn't serve them, I heard them repeat back iced long black, everyone at the pay station was lovely but when I drove further to the pick up station I was then passed out an iced latte, I am un able to drink full cream milk so I know full well I didn't order that, I had informed the middle aged blonde lady that I had ordered a cold brew or iced long black and she got really mad, raising her voice at me saying that " we are not Starbucks, this is not America" I also heard her swearing underneath her breath as well saying the "f" word. Now, previously I have worked at plenty of cafes for a long time, she obviously didn't know what a cold brew was as most cafes do that, it is not just at Starbucks or America. This lady kept informing me that they are not Starbucks on repeat belittling me and making me feel dumb. She was way out of line, so unprofessional especially as SHE doesn't know her coffees, and if she is working as a barista she should know. I do NOT like to be treated this way. She did end up having another member of staff remake my coffee and made another kinder lady hand it to me. Not a great way to start my Sunday and be sworn at by someone who clearing should not be working with the public and tainting the current reputation TMB has.

The staff were lovely & polite. The store was clean & presentable I can't say I was impressed by the food as it's one of those places with premade food that I assume is heated in a microwave, or similar. For the cost & convenience it's ok. But probably wouldn't return as a first choice.

Fast service, great quality coffee / cold drinks and the convenience of a drive through. Loyalty card makes it a great option for your daily coffee. A good range of food as well.

Consistently very good coffee, happy, friendly staff.. morning AND afternoon 👏 get through rush times efficiently , hence much quicker than elsewhere. Good value for money as well. 👍

We use to love TMB, however order has been messed up 3 times now. Wasn’t worth waiting in line again to get new drinks. Also when menu items are being shown with whipped cream, please serve it as the picture.

Thank God....a decent cup of coffee in Queensland. Best brew I have found around Brisbane. Open early and great staff. Try the eat in acai bowl loaded....simply wow!

Absolutely love the drinks here!! To die for, usually come to here to refresh my day with the hibiscus tea. Best to try it from my recommendations if you like a hint of sweetness Although just to say pancakes could be better if it was cooked more i felt mine was a bit rushed + side note would love the syrup if it was warmed up!!

I spent 5 hours here during the week whilst waiting for my car to be serviced down the road. This is a great coffee shop. Very clean and well presented. There is plenty of seating, plus free USB and DC power charging for your electronic devices & free daily newspaper for you to read during your dine in stay. There is a very wide range of hot & cold beverage options, although the food options are somewhat limited, but all are reasonably priced. Staff are plentiful and service is quick and friendly.

Staff are always friendly and welcoming, it's a great way to start your day. The coffee is always hot and good. I'm not a fan of their food but that's a personal choice, as my son loves it. One thing that can be annoying is you can sometimes spend up to 20 minutes in the drive thru, I'm not sure why they don't use the waiting bays for people waiting of hot food, this would really help getting cars through faster. Keep up the friendly service and there great coffee guys.. I'm a huge fan of you all.
