The food was decent but the service by that young man was so embarrassingly poor. Very impatient, rude, and treated us like we were idiots throughout the whole time we were there. That one experience with him has tainted all of my good memories that I had there since I was little. If you’re reading this young man, you need to fix your attitude.

If you are old school don't bother going here. No paper menu, can't order at the counter. You have to use your phone. I was given a menu when I went to the counter but when I went back to the counter to order was told I couldn't order from the menu and had to use my phone. Print menu's and take orders from the counter if you want more business. And surcharge to use card for payment?? Won't be going there again. Edit - and your replies don't do anything to help your business.

5/5 for the presentation and the food options. But then there were other factors... Pros: - friendly staff. - reasonable price. - good food and awesome presentation. Cons: - there is nothing absorbing any level of noise in the place and when it's full it's so loud my ears ring. - there's an atmosphere that some might enjoy but I personally just wanted to leave many times. - the food took a really long time to get to the table. - maybe understaffed. Did go on a busy night. I will probably come back based on the food. Still a very new place so some of the faults might be because of that.

This small gem of a places s run by a family that promotes vegetarianism. Really good food with verity of vegetables coocked in different style. Tofu and mushroom are other two staple ingredients that make up the food. Reasonably priced food and portions are large. Must try place if you like vegetarian food.

Customer experience needs to improve. While using app to order is a good idea, it is not an excuse to ignore customers. Food is too oily and salty though presentation is nice. No option to order less salt or oil on the app and staff is more interested on their phone than customers.

Went to this restaurant for a family dinner and ordered 4 dishes to share. The food were pretty good and delicious. The service on the other hand was terrible. The lady serving us insisted that we take a 4 person small table when I've explained that it was not very comfortable given that we are a family 4 and I was in moonboots and crutches. We needed more space, so no one kicks my fractured foot by accident. Besides the larger (6 person) table was located nearer to the door and more accessible for me giving my mobility. She rejected our request flatout, saying that she would need that table when a group of 6 rock up. No one else rock up during our time there and that table wasn't used. I'm about to experience a food coma after this!! $28 only!! The duck was so delicious but I was a bit taken back by it because it tasted so much like meat... 💀 Pros: *Portion sizes are large *Delicious and the duck was extra crispy and salty (I love savoury stuff) *Server brought me chilled water without me asking Cons: *Hate giving my number to unknown Asian companies...next time I'll just order at the counter , I didn't realize that was an option until after. *The waiter was kind of rude but I think it was maybe the language barrier rather than intentional rudeness.

Family friendly Vegan/Vegetarian Restaurant, Chinese style, their food quite nice and satisfied with generous proportion for each serve, their price is reasonably ok. Good presentation for each dish. This is a family run business so expect a casual treatment with friendly staff. There is no egg ingredient on their menu but there is a dish or two that has honey. Highly recommend it for any occasion.

Staff was impolite and uncooperative, in general rude. Food was expensive and overpriced for the service provided. Charging one percent surcharge during an covid pandemic where card is a preferred payment. Food was also extremely salty.

Yuan yuan was a very lovely place to dine in at. The staff was friendly but the food was the best part. Myself being a vegetarian 🌱 really enjoyed the meals. They were simple with a really good taste exactly like meat!!! They also had lots of choices to choose from. I highly recommend you try it even if you’re not vegan or vegetarian.

I came to the restaurant today with a group of friends and seriously the food was amazing! All of the dishes had so much flavour and the serving sizes were very generous. After hearing that the restaurant was entirely vegetarian I was sceptical to try some of the "seafood" and "meat" dishes containing "squid" and "chicken," etc, as vegetarian substitutes for these foods can be very hard to nail, but they tasted absolutely delicious, and the "squid" tasted better than real squid in my opinion. Service was also amazing! I highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back!!

It’s sad I can only give 3 stars due to its poor service as we Really enjoy the food 5/5. Kudos to the chef! After seeing the establishment come back to live under new management we were so excited to taste its food and we weren’t disappointed at all. However, the service provided by the guy on the phone and at the counter during pick up were more than disappointing. Rude and impatient to be honest. The lady who was mopping the floor near the counter was friendly and helpful. But the guy at the counter was just plain rude. I truly hope he gets an attitude adjustment before we return next time. We just love the style of vegetarian food this place serves and sincerely wishing for its success. We’ve missed the delightful vegetarian food on the south side.

The customer service was absolutely terrible from the mother/owner and son/young man. Poor attitude, eye rolling, inappropriate, rude and snarky comments are made each time we visited. While the food is good, we will not be returning. Such a shame the new owner has ruined the restaurant with such terrible customer service.

We always try to support vegetarian businesses but to the rude guy who was there on the night (I was told was the son of the owner), you’re not doing the business any favours with that attitude. I don’t normally write reviews but I thought it was necessary to provide feedback. After going through other peoples review, I realised people are having the same experience with this same guy. Not only that but the response from the owners from other posts were rude and unprofessional too. We’ve been here a few times but on the weekend and the other staff we encountered were nice and friendly. This is our first time going on a weekday, and also first interaction with bad attitude. Such a shame as the food was much nicer than previous owner, but the service completely destroys the taste. EDIT: I didn’t know that someone else on the table wanted to drink both tea and water so I asked for ONE extra teacup. In which you rudely responded, and there were only 4 tea cups which were we used it all. Mind you we ordered chamomile tea and you gave us a completely different tea, but we didn’t even mention or complain about it. My daughter wanted a chopstick instead of the fork I initially asked but then after your response to the extra tea cup I was too afraid to even ask you. The so called unfriendly stare that you observed is actually mistaken for something that is called shock and disbelief at the service we just received after simply asking for an extra tea cup. Yes the customer is not always right, but when the customer merely just asks for an extra cup and you have that attitude, you might wana self reflect if you’re right.

Amazing vegetarian food. We had the pork buns, roast duck, salt and pepper mushroom and chicken drumsticks. It was all super tasty and we will definitely be back. My Fiance is a big meat eater but loved the food.

Flavours are nice but salty, need to balance the meal out with some green veges. Service was poor. The waitress/owner started cleaning before we finished our meal. She was very blunt for the entire time we were there. She also told a table near us that if they don’t know what the dish is, don’t order it….what?!!

Had an incredible lunch today! Small family run business that puts so much love into their food. Packed full of veggies and quality grains - even their teas use high quality leaves. Reminded us of vegan restaurants in China. We will be back!

The food is nice, the environment is clean and the price is reasonable. I found that the eggplant dishes were a little bit too sweet but I quite liked the rice and the other dishes. I suggest to provide complimentary tea particularly in Sunnybank or Southside :) I personally prefer using hard copy or a tablet from the restaurant to view the menu than scanning a QR code from my mobile. I didnt realise this restaurant had been taken over back in january 2020. we had a very good experience here and will try to dine here fortnightly even though it is quite far from home. Our experience was that the food was tasty, we ordered around seven dishes it was presented well and the atmosphere was just as an Asian restaurant should be it is colourful with a communal family friendly feel and my wife and two kids loved the meal. we also were quite difficult diners with two kids asking for multiple things at seperate times and this did not put the waiter out at all and he put my discomfort regarding this at ease. when we booked the table the waiter also asked us whether we had travelled recently or had cold symptoms in order to protect other customers from covid 19 which i found responsible. The service was great and i wish the new owners well in their enterprise.

Food was yummy. Great to have a vegan/vegetarian restaurant in Logan . However when we dined in it was middle of winter and freezing cold inside there were no heaters on in the restaurant which was too cold. We Also requested chopsticks as well as forks/spoons and was essentially told “it’s one or the other “ and when asked for extra 2 plates as we were sharing food we were told there were none despite seeing other plates on other tables. I understand times are tough but despite good food, paying full prices you expect a warm pleasant dining experience. The QR code online menu was Also a little hard to navigate and a little cluttered and no offer of physical menus but they may have been available had we requested them. Despite these negatives, good food, quick service and Vegan!

It's not bad, food is a bit on the sour side for me personally. But if you like sour food, this place might be for you. Below this line is an edit as a response to the owner's reply Firstly, yes I did order Lemon Chicken and I did expect it to be sour, but not to the extent where taking one bite would make me jump are the shear overwhelming sourness that I wasn't excepting it to be. Secondly, not once did I say it did not taste good, I said it wasn't for me personally and it would suit others who liked more sour food better. And lastly, it wasn't just the lemon chicken that was overwhelmingly sour, it was the majority of the dishes I ordered. Again, I did not say anything about the food being bad, you don't need to get defensive and try to explain that "Lemon" is sour.

One of the best vegeterian restaurant in Brisbane. Must try 100% recommended. Very delicious and price very reasonable. Coming back for the foods, worth travelling for more than an hour,living at the North. Always coming back, minimum once a month, sometimes more.Really recommended. 👍😋

Disappointing Service Experience I recently visited the restaurant around 7:30 PM, and my encounter with the staff left me extremely dissatisfied. Despite the restaurant closing at 9 PM, we were informed that dine-in service was no longer available. Accepting this policy, I inquired about placing a to-go order, assuring a quick turnaround before closing time. To my dismay, the staff member responded rudely, making unwarranted assumptions and expressing skepticism about our ability to be prompt. The interaction was not only unprofessional but also uncomfortable, especially considering the presence of other guests. I mean you are no one to judge your customers. Regrettably, this experience has left a lasting negative impression, and I cannot recommend this restaurant based on the subpar service received. Improved staff professionalism and customer service are crucial for creating a positive dining atmosphere. #worststaffever

The owner scold us for bringing our own tea leaf. I mean they can advise that we cannot bring our own tea leaf, but not scolding us. When we are not talk back just one word, and the owner said we are not welcomed to come back to buy food. I think this is the most hopeless service of a restaurant can provide, very nasty owner, and the food is not fresh, I can taste a smelly cans food ingredients in the veggie pot, not recommend this Resturant at all.

I had the sichuan “chicken” as a main and the roast “duck” as an entree. Both were very very good. I love that this type of vegan food is so close by and so delicious. I will certainly be coming back, thank you.

Used to come here regularly for takeaway because the service wasn't great, but delighted to report that it has improved greatly this year. They even check up on you and ask if you prefer chopsticks instead of assuming. Because of the price we only come here once every one or two months but definitely look forward to it each time because the food is ridiculously good.

My partner and I ALWAYS order from Yuan Yuan, it's honestly one of our favorite places for take out. We always order the chicken fried rice and the sweet and sour pork but honestly the lemon chicken and black bean beef plates are JUST AS GOOD and the serving sizes are BIG! As for the staff my partner absolutely loves the young man that works there (I think his name is shaun) and he's always super friendly and gives us chopsticks. Thanks Shaun MVP :)

Rude owners and extremely poor customer service. Rude, arrogant and mannerless owner and the son is super rude too. We booked table for 8 and we were seated on bigger table, but we were 7 so they wanted us to move to smaller table. We also had other group of 5 kids on other table, they wanted one kid to move and sit with us. Common kids like to sit together. This is at 8 pm when no other big group is coming (other 2 big tables 8 seater were empty). Just very rude, showing eyes and bad mouth, poor customer service. Will never ever go there.

Would’ve rated highly for food, but service was pretty disgraceful. No dining atmosphere at all. If we wanted to eat a nice meal, could’ve stayed at home and cooked, instead went here and was talked down to but a service attendant who didn’t understand Australia’s standards of customer service at all. Won’t be going back and don’t recommend at all if you want to have a nice dining experience.

Let me get this straight from the start the food is great and a little different from other places which is also good. The young lad that works behind the counter used to be very polite and helpful but the last few times we have been there he seems to either not want to be there or he doesn't want us to be there. This time I thought I had to make a review as my wife has said she refuses to go back after he was blatantlyrude to us. Hopefully whatever problems they have going on there can be fixed as I used to enjoy this place.

Craig Mullen, we were there dine-in in once too with you and your family. The food there was excellent and the service was great. However, when my family and I were eating there your kids were very loud and obnoxious, I personally don't think that this restaurant have anything wrong. If there was a thing wrong about this restaurant, I would say its the customers. I have came back many times to this restaurant and everything has been very pleasant so far. And have not seen any of the thing that people are talking about. Definitely recommend this restaurant and definitely coming back for more.

Some dishes were OK, some were too salty. Hygiene is problematic. saw a few small bugs in cups and bows when we arrived, and got them changed. the bows and cups were always on the tables so not sure how long they have been there for.

Very nice Chinese vegetarian meals. Lots of mock meat dishes. I recommend the mock duck in the entree. If you're a strict vegetarian though, you might not like the idea of mock meats..

We just ate and I came to rate in the carpark, this restaurant was THAT good! We came on a Thursday night and was a lovely atmosphere and the staff were lovely. The food was out if this world! "Pork" buns, Lemon "Chicken" and Fried sweet and sour tofu - all amazing, plenty of sauce and came to us promptly. Well done, you will see us on the regular 🙌 Ps (the prices are super reasonable too!!)

I wish I had known you were here sooner. We used to visit the previous vego restaurant, but didn't realise you guys had started up. We drove past earlier in the afternoon and saw your signage. So we visited last night and the food was delicious. Family of 4 had a great feast. The presentation was impeccable. The colours and vibrancy of the food was excellent. It was a taste sensation and well priced. The staff were super friendly and helpful as well. We will be back! Wish you guys well.
