I wasn’t very pleased with our experience. I had to hunt down someone to help us at the front desk. I felt like the staff had a negative attitude and was rushing to get us out, and excessively cleaning up even though it was an hour from closing. There was still a good amount of people in the restaurant and a handful of people still coming in to eat. Then the food wasn’t very fresh either. I did enjoy the salad bar, but the staff started putting it away 30 minutes before closing. One of my favorite things are the desserts, but the best ones ran out and the staff did not put anymore out for others to enjoy.

Good selection of pizzas. Place is usually fairly dirty and always tons of little kids running around. Often times getting into the pizzas on the lower shelf without parental supervision. One of my wife's favorite places to go on a relaxing date night. BIG BONUS for one of the only restaurants in the world that has Goji Citrus Mountain Dew flavor.

Good food, you'll probably end up wanting more and more. There is good dessert and salads. There is also pasta, but I didn't try it. All the staff is really nice, although you probably only need to interact with the front cashier. There's gluten-free pasta, at least at the one I went to.

I paid $44 for my family to eat here and when we walk back there are nothing but empty spots where pizza should have been. If they can’t keep up with demand, charge less or get another pizza oven. I could have bought my family lucky slice for less, which is actually good pizza. Don’t brand yourself as an all you can eat buffet when it’s really “eat one or two slices until you get too bored to wait for us to cook more”. $10.29 for an adult…ha. This isn’t a one time thing either. It’s like that every time my kids talk me into going. If it’s up to me, I’ll never pay to eat here again.

At Pizza Pie Cafe, I went to dine, In my heelys, feeling just fine, I skated past tables with ease, To the buffet, I went to please. But to my dismay, I was met with ire, As the staff scolded me with fire, "You can't use those heelys here," My heart sank, I was filled with fear. I tried to explain, it was just for fun, But their response was cold, "It's not done." I apologized and took them off, Feeling embarrassed, my cheeks did cough. The pizza was great, the salad too, But the incident left me feeling blue, I left the cafe, with a heavy heart, Wishing I had chosen a different start. So if you go to Pizza Pie Cafe, Please leave your heelys at bay, The staff won't be too pleased, And your experience may be diseased.

It was a good experience, I tried salad, pasta, vegetarian pizza and drinks. I tried mango juice for my daughter but the machine was very selective.

This place has AMAZING cheese sticks, and pretty good pasta and pizza but some pieces of the pizza were a bit over cooked, and honestly; they had some weird selections there, but those weird selections aside the food aspect was all around a good experience. The desert though was pretty bad excluding a select few. My sister had a piece of the apple pizza and spit it out it was so bitter for some reason, but their peach pizza was very good just like their cinnamon sticks. So when it comes down to it, would I go there again? Yes, because its a fairly cheap place to eat and was an all you can eat with some of their items being very good and others being kinda iffy, but I just wouldn't eat the items I didn't enjoy. I honestly would rate it higher just for the food I really enjoyed like their cheese sticks and pepperoni pizza, but that wouldn't really be fair because the rest was mediocre. There should be a picture here of a cheese stick and one of their odder pizza selections. That pizza was a "loaded fries" like pizza with a potato slice on top, I think sour cream or something like that in place of the marinara sauce (it was cooked and cooked/warm sour cream isn't good in my opinion), extra cheese, and some bacon bits on top.

Made a reservation for a large group. They held our reservation, gave us space, and gave us a killer deal! We shared a room w/ another party, but no big deal. Didn't have a lot of food ready when we got there, but they got some hot stuff our right away.

We had the pizza buffet and drinks at a Pizza Pie Cafe last Friday. The pricing seemed very reasonable and the staff were friendly and quick to pick up dirty dishes. The pizzas, breadsticks, garlic knots, and desert pizzas were all excellent. The buffet consistently had fresh hot food being put up despite it being a busy Friday night.

Wonderful one-stop spot for dinner for the whole family. It's got pizza, pasta, and a salad bar. My littles love eating here and it's nice to get our own spread with the different portion sizes we all want. The greatest flaw for this establishment is the lack of consistency. I've had incredible food from here and food that's made me never want to come back. It's a mixed bag and the service can be similar. The owner, however, is awesome. The restaurant is also full of TVs that make it hard to focus on the meal. Why do I keep going back? Because, when the food is good, it is REALLY good. I keep coming back because the price isn't bad for what you get and there's a chance the food will be heavenly. Hope they can iron out the wrinkles soon and I will come back and update my review. Still going to go because this is the only place that I feel comfortable taking my kids without a problem in all of Cache Valley. The screens are still an issue, but we try to sit away from them.

I had a blast here last night. The food was amazing, my favorite desert pizza is the cinnamon stick pizza! 10/10 would recommend. The thing that made me smile the most was Matthew, a gentleman who took my plates when i was done. His smile, attitude, and care made my day.

The most important thing here is that there is all type of pizzas all the time, unlike the North Ogden location, you have to ask them to cook certain types or even you have to chase your favorite one, but not here. My favorite one is the buffalo chicken one, it is delicious, also it’s always a little bit crusty and it’s always hot. Love this location, love the service, love the pizza. I drive from Brigham City just to eat here. Very pleased.

I always have a good experience here. Despite the negative connotations of "buffet pizza", I find the food here to be delicious! The salad bar rocks. The customer service is great, and you can't beat the price.

We took our 5 grandchildren, and there was something in the buffet that each of them loved, whether varieties of pizza, pastas, fruits, and salad bar. *One thing we missed was soft ice cream bar that is at other Pizza Pie cafes. Otherwise we enjoyed our meals, atmosphere, watching the wildlife videos, sports, and total experience.

Food was decent, but it was like the couldn't keep fresh pizza up. The pasta was delicious. The atmosphere was pretty chill and clean.

Not too busy, and the food was kinda mid wish it was hot. The customer service was good. Our busser, I think he said his name was porter was great, made sure we were well taken care of!!!

This is one of my favorite restaurants ever. The price is reasonable and provides you access to a well stocked all you can eat salad bar and great number of very creative and delicious pizza choices. Best of all they offer dessert pizzas I would never have thought of like Oreo, cookie dough, peach, apple, and many more. All of the food tastes way better than any other buffet style meals I have had. The atmosphere is super family friendly, nicely decorated, and quiet enough to have a dinner conversation.

Always a fantastic salad bar. They always have gluten-free pasta and pizza available. Im only giving 4 stars on the food, though, because they put sugar and flour in their alfreado sauces. Sugar and flour has no business in any of those sauces. Not if you make them right. And for the amount of cheese they have available on the side there is no reason they cant make it right aside from lack of training and policies. None of the pasta sauces should have flour or sugar in them, period!!!

A good number of the pasta sauces were bland tonight, and several of the pizzas were not very fresh at all. But the employees were still friendly and the atmosphere is still one of the best in town!

I normally don’t go to buffets, but I do go on occasion when visiting family. I gave this place a try, and it was great. There’s a large variety of pizzas to choose from, as well as pasta and salad. The prices are reasonable, and I didn’t feel like I was being price-gouged.

Decent food all around. Though the time of day can make all the difference. If it's slow the pizza is getting cold and hard. If you go when it's busy it's hard to find any pizza. The salad bar is fresh and they have a decent variety. The pasta bar is good, though the sauces could be better. Overall, it's a great value for the amount of food.

Pizza Pie Cafe has salad, pasta, and pizza. The pasta buffet has 5 or 6 different kinds of sauces (my favorite is the carbonara). They have a decent salad bar with most of the usual salad toppings. They have a jalapeno ranch dressing that I love. They usually have broccoli salad but last time we went they didn't have it, which was disappointing. There is a large room that looks like it is great for parties, and TVs that usually have sports games on. This is definitely a place we frequent.

Best location for PPC I've ever been to. Clean, fun atmosphere. Food was best quality compared to other locations I've eaten at. Even my husband's gluten free pizza tasted better, and the gf crust was great! Definitely coming back!

I've only ever been to lunch. The price is a little high for the quality of the food, but the food is decent. The salad bar is probably my favorite, it's very good. I enjoy the decorations and atmosphere. The pizza can tend to be a bit old, not super fresh. There's usually not a lot of people there so it's hard for the pizza to be fresh sometimes. They have a lunch "deal" on Tuesday so I usually go there then, when there's usually a few more people to eat the pizza. I wish the drinks were a bit cheaper and they had better specials/deals.

I love the salad bar. Great place to get full for not too much money. Not a fan of the pizzas as they just taste plain and boring.

  • 4/5 Mark H. 1 year ago on Google
It’s a solid 4 stars. It’s perfect for college kids but since I’m beyond that phase of life I typically go for something higher quality. This is a typical quantity vs quality question. If you are going for buffet then come here and MAKE SURE you get the cookie dough! That is hands down the best pizza there! But hungry Howie’s is a better choice if you want quality taste.

We go to pizza pie cafe somewhat frequently. Our kids love pizza and pasta, so it’s always a place we know they’ll find something they like. Overall, the pizza is nothing to write home about, but there are some pretty tasty flavors. My favorites are the buffalo wing and the Oreo pizzas. My wife also appreciates that they have a salad bar. Another bonus is that kids 3 and under are free, which is two of our kids right now. I think I would give the food 3.5 stars, but since the two kids are free and all my kids love the food, I give it 4 stars.

Salad Bar alone is worth the cost and the kids love the pizzas, soups, pasta and desert bars. Still one of our favorite places to eat with the family. Dr. M

There were only a few pizzias on the buffet when we arrived... The ones that were available were old and looked like they had sat here for a couple hours. We waited 45 minutes for new pizzas... Everything that came out was burned and tasted dry. We won't be coming back here. You're better off going to little caesars pizza across the parking lot.

This is my kids favorite restaurant. I love it when the pizza is fresh, but if they aren't busy when you come the pizza is often a little old and not nearly as good.

Good pizza to choose from. They worked quickly and were kind. There were moments where there was quite a bit of a wait for the pizza. Overall good experience and very family friendly.

This place is always a solid choice for a buffet. To begin, the price is very read for a buffet. You can expect to pay double at some other local buffets. The variety of food is actually pretty dang good. Besides a large assortment of pizzas (to include desert pizzas), they also have a salad and pasta bar. Also, and this is the clincher for me, they have Dr. Pepper Cream soda in their fountain machines. This is the only place I've seen that, and I love that stuff. Only complaint is that the place can get pretty messy at times. At one point I was diligently having to watch where I stepped because the floor was covered in either dressing or fallen pizza bits. I will grant that this place is frequented by families with younger children that may or may not care about dropping said items. Overall a good place to fill up and enjoy some pizza.

My kids love this place. Food is always great. The only thing I would complain about is cleanliness. When we went there was food and garbage all over the floors and the handles to things everyone touched were sticky, oily and gross. It was hard to find a table that wasn't cleaned prior. Rather then taking plates off people's tables while they are still eating, I would focus more on keeping other things clean around guests then cleaning the tables after they leave.
