We stay at Mercure BO every year for 2 x 2-night stays: one on the way from UK to Poland and one on the way back. The accessible room and bathroom are spacious, beautifully decorated and in all respects perfect for my wife, who has to use a wheelchair, and me. Our dogs are more than tolerated by staff and other guests. The breakfasts are fabulous, enhanced by the extremely warm and helpful presence of Mathias (Herr Fischer?) and his colleagues. He even helps me prepare a trolley of food to take to my wife in the bedroom if she’s resting. He greets us each time like long list friends and we love him. Bad Oeynhausen is the ideal place to rest for a full day from motorway driving. It is undemanding, never ‘busy’ and, although unexceptional in most respects, has a beautiful park for gentle walks and excellent spa facilities if you want them. Not a gastronomic centre but offers one or two places with reasonable home cooking (eg Cult). But make the Mercure breakfast your main meal and you’ll get by. Great place and location to chill out.

Carpark will cost you extra €10/night and breakfast extra €15/pp.description mention restaurant, but there is only bar in the building. A bit cheeky. Otherwise ok.

Staff are very polite and helpful. The hotel is very clean and the rooms are of a good standard. Each room has shower facility, television, desk and coffee machine. Rooms are cleaned to a very high standard. The breakfast options are good with a wide range of choices. My only criticism of hotel is the free WiFi is terribly slow, far slower than what you would expect in 2018.

I visited this hotel during a business trip. Big chambers, but the furniture seemed quite old. Comfy bed, with very heavy covers and you had to put them in place by yourself. Great breakfast/restaurant space, very nice and with a lot of particular things to eat, both sweet and salty. Covered parking lot (not free) available with direct access from the hotel. Nice position to enjoy the city center.

Near to the station and town centre. Well presented and comfortable rooms. Strange online check in that didn't seem to work properly. Reception staff almost non existent.

Great location- Friendly staff at Check in and checking out. Special thanks to the breakfast buffet staff which is excellent . Room was also clean and comfortable. But A/C is completely useless. You must leave the unlocked door open and hang out an exhaust hose. Bugs got into my room and it was a really bad night. I have been here many times during the winter months and will continue- But I cannot recommend this place in the warmer months.

An outdated hotel. The breakfast was really nice and especially the ladies of the service. But.... : no water cooker in the room, later we got one (not sure of this one was safe), coffee machine was defect, used coffee mugs were not replaced by housekeeping, not enough refill of coffee pads, problems with the key card, evening receptionist was not very cheerful when we arrived--it took him almost few minutes until he greeted us. The price is far considering all that.

From the start you was made to feel welcome by Sabrine, Mattias, Mr Steffen Buschmann and the staff. The rooms were cleaned to a high standard and the breakfast was excellent. From continental to British breakfasts the selection was huge. Parking was well thought of as its underneath the hotel under the watchful eye of security so peace of mind can be had with regards to your personal transport. On a personal note I had a problem with my car so I needed help with regards to keeping my room until the car was fixed. In this case it was an extra five days and the staff really put my mind at ease as I had my 13 year old son and my wife. Sabrine and Mattias also helped with contacting the garage as my German wasn't exactly perfect and the boss Stefan sorted out the receipts for my insurance claim. Nothing was ever a problem if you asked any of the staff. Bang for buck one of the best hotels around. Vielen Dank für alles!

Good rooms but amazing breakfast! Also for me one of the best I’ve ever had. Amazing selection and all ingredients are fresh made. Also nice and chatty staff!

Im Accor member, been here several times. Good: location, very friendly staff. Bad: room outdated, no water cook in the room, not enough parking lot. Not sure whether I will come again.

Staff working on late shift on 22/08/2020 was so helpful. Hi wait for us and help when we been in trouble to find accommodation ( new hotel). I am so happy to have good night sleep. Hotel good standard, no so quiet because windows was on side of railway 😂 and train coming every 1h. But not to bad. Happy customer.

I was greated at the door by Mathias. He was very kind and welcomed me in the best way. He helped me get my car parked and we had a nice talk. This is hospitality at its best. The room was clean, spacious and everything was well in order. Definately recommend this hotel!

The best hotel in Bad Oeyhausen for your business trip! walking distance to the train-station, very clean room, very nice breakfast, small business center and car park available.

Great stay. Everyone was friendly, breakfast was good and the room was clean. Of the 4 rooms that were used in our party everyone had a slow shower drain. Very slow. The water filled up and you were standing in 3 inches of water when you tried to get out as fast as you could.
