Beautiful area with buildings that are well preserved from the outside. Drove past on a bike ride. I was able to take part in a bat evening today. That was a one-hour old school slide lecture and then a short hike into the nearby woods with an acoustic device that brought the different sounds of the bat species to a human hearing level. The online contact with Doctor Dose was very nice. And the invited lecturer who led the evening was also very nice. Recommended if you spend a longer period of time here in Bad Oeynhausen. Cost contribution four euros.

Very nicely made and in top condition. Here you can travel back in time for a while and experience what life used to be like. Very nice place to stay. Well maintained and beautifully located in the forest. There is also a small water mill in the immediate vicinity with a small lake. Highly recommended as a walking destination👍👍 Unfortunately it cannot be viewed from the inside during Corona times

Very nice museum courtyard. Lovingly prepared. Beautiful exhibits in the buildings and in the open spaces. And there is also a cottage garden.

(Translated by Google) The museum courtyard is always worth a stroll, whether open or closed. The surroundings, the buildings, the old farming aids on display, the garden, the fruit trees and much more is worth seeing in every season, and the exhibition itself is even more so when visitors are visiting.

Beautiful, small, well-maintained complex with beautifully restored half-timbered houses. Especially magical in late autumn.

A very worth seeing piece of contemporary history that should not be missed when exploring Bad Oeynhausen. You get to temporarily immerse yourself in the strenuous job of a farmer from the past. All buildings have been lovingly preserved and authentically furnished. I particularly liked the lovingly designed cottage garden. This was really well described.

(Translated by Google) It's really nice there and also at the time of the year. The fields and the trees bloomed fabulously. Was the last time there as a child although you only live less than 10 minutes away on foot (Original) Ist wirklich sehr schön dort und auch gerade zu der Jahreszeit.

(Translated by Google) I am mostly only there for the public knitting meetings, but the museum courtyard is also very interesting in other ways.

Beautiful place to experience how people used to live and what busy lives they had with a complete farm consisting of the main house, haymaking house, drive-through barn, storage, bakery and garden as well as a water mill.

Small but very nice museum courtyard. A nice destination for a walk in Bad Oeynhausen. However, it is not always open, so you should first check the opening times online.

(Translated by Google) It is a place where the quiet man can really switch off. The good thing about this place is that things are usually presented on Sundays. Honey centrifuges are announced on this Sunday. The beekeeper then shows everything the hard-working bees have done. After the event, you can either in walk in the forest or about 100 m further there is a children's playground and a place to drink coffee.

(Translated by Google) The first thing you notice is the beautiful main house, then the old storehouse and the barn. A well-kept courtyard that is worth a visit. Information about the farm is available on the Internet, or via the Geocaching Labcache, which describes the journey through time via the museum farm. Events also take place there.
