I find it very interesting that we in Denmark can produce vine, and even without grapes!! Taste a different vine here made from cherries, of cause not the sweet once. The sparkling is a must to taste.

Amazing winery. The wines are outstanding and dwarf every grape wine. Cherry wine is just superb and better than grape wine. It's a shame so much people think wine needs to be made out of grapes. Believe me, there is no single reason to make wine only from grapes. Other fruits are just as tasteful. Or do you only eat grapes at home?

Unparalleled in flavor and philosophy. Frederiksdal is New Nordic Cuisine embodied in sour cherries used in ways never thought of before. Truly an unsung hero when it comes to wine and liquors and a worthy contender to traditional grape wine. If you haven't tried or been you are definitely missing out.

Amazing address where they do wine out of sour cherries. If it can ne surprising at first, it has actually quite diverse type of wines, though often sweeter than grape wine. I highly recommand the vermouth for cocktails !!

Very interesting place to go and visit. Unique in its kind making wine from its own cherries. The guided tour is interesting, as are the wines you can taste on site 👍

Just visited their establishment yesterday where I got a tour around their facilities. It's fascinating to see how they produce everything. Usually I dont like or enjoy wine. However, yesterday when I tried Frederiksdal's wine I was so surprised when I actually enjoyed drinking it. So that was a fantastic experience for me. After the tour I got myself 2 bottles of their wine. So I am looking forward to drinking them in the near future!

I had the opportunity to come visit this amazing place and have a guided tour around. I can't explain how good the experience was... From the information about the cherry plantation, to the wine production, and tasting so many unbelievable flavors. All an all, highly recommended

Amazing place to visit. They show you how the cherrywine is made. The staff is very friendly and live to tell about the processes. You may taste all the wines, and there's a shop to take some of their wines home. Would highly recommend to visit them!

Winery. We weren't quite sure what to expect, but found out we could taste a nice selection of their cherry wine for free. Cherry wine is alot different from what we are used to, but has a very nice sweet or dry taste (depending on type). The woman helping us seemed to know the place well, I think perhaps she was part of running it, so she knew a lot. I'd definitely recommend going there. But check if they are open, I think they are only open during summer. Also, keep an eye out for the 2018 harvest. The summer has been exceptionally hot and dry, so the wine will be sweet.
