AVOID THIS HOTEL AT ALL COSTS. Giving 1 star because Google does not allow less than 1 star. Thier service is the worst. Book this hotel at your own risk. The food at the restaurant is very poor in taste and quality. The breakfast buffet also lacks taste. The only good option was milk. The rooms are not clean. There were dead mosquitoes stuck to walls. The towels were dirty. The water comming from the tap was also brown at times and salty. The pool water is salty not fresh water. Definitely go for any other hotel. We suffered an accident at this hotel because thier bathrooms are very slippery and had to be evacuated to Lombok for treatment. And all they did was offer a complimentary drop to the harbour at checkout. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL.

The hotel is nice and clean. Staff are helpful however they are very black and white when it comes to their job and if special request arises they are not able to be flexible. Much like the other reviews, there are alot of bugs, the resort is far away from the night market and popular bars and restaurants on the island. It was extremely hot during our stay however this hotel did not have suitable umbrellas for the wind that could be used on the beach unlike all the other resorts and restaurants on the island that had umbrellas. Due to the hot weather we were unable to enjoy the beach near the hotel. The hotel also did not have room service available which was inconvenient given the hot weather. One thing that really put us off this hotel was the pillow stained with mould or some foreign item We had a sunset bungalow with an outdoor shower, toilet and wash area. Unfortunately given the location and the lack of umbrellas and room service this is not a hotel I would return to.

Location was perfect for us - it is further away from the port area but we liked this as it was very quiet and still lots of incredible beach bars near (we recommend Marbella). Unfortunately this hotel needs a lot of work - outdated and tired decor, tiles were loose, no mosquito nets, public areas really run down. The bathroom was located outside but backed onto someone else's bathroom so it felt like you were showering and going to the loo with other people. The beds were however comfy and the staff were attentive and friendly.

TRAVELLERS, BEWARE: We were unable to travel because of weather conditions. The hotel refuses to issue a refund despite waves being too high at time of intended travel. It was booked via a travel agency and neither us nor the travel agency were able to get a refund as the hotel is hiding behind their 'cancellation policy'. We did not cancel, we did not no-show. We communicated clearly. Please BEWARE that if the waves are too high, this hotel will not refund and simply keep your money.

Really nice hotel, but very good service located on the west side of the island for sunset. Restaurant with breakfast, lunch and dinner and pool with bar and everything in nice surroundings. Bicycle rental and plenty of other restaurants nearby Hotel just a little outdated but everything still nice and beautiful. Quiet place :-) ocean is better on the other side, due to low tide during the day, but only a 10 minute bicycle trip

The resort has lost it past glory after the tsunami and covid and that’s unfortunate. The one and only pro here is that they have huge rooms which are clean but everything apart from that is below average. The resort was mostly deserted and didn’t look like the pictures at all. Their washrooms have sea water so you will have to bathe in sea water while other hotels do have clean water. They don’t even provide enough drinking water. If you have booked breakfast, you will be very disappointed as they have only two options. One of their hotel staff behaved very rudely when we asked for one slice of bread. Their hotel staff is highly unreliable. You might encounter instances when you are promised something but you get something completely different. Any sort of service is completely missing from this resort.

This Hotel can be so much better if the management invests resources in hiring experienced staff and refurbishing he rooms. Most of the staff are trainees and only 1 person in reception to manage 70 villas. My villa had armies of red ants!. Restaurant staff unhelpful. They don't even make an attempt to help the guest. Breakfast is less than average. Very low value for money

It seems like they have slackened off: No sun loungers on the beach area (excuse: because of the wind - both hotels next to it have sun loungers on the beach area). The safe in the room was closed and we told reception. After 45 minutes we left. We went back to reception and were told that they had told housekeeping by now. Renting bikes is very expensive (50% more compared to the stand 100 metres away). Drink prices at the pool are very expensive compared to other beach clubs/hotels on the beach. But the breakfast was one of the best we had on our round trip Bali/Lombok. The staff is also very friendly. And a plus point is that the transfer back to the port is organised and paid for by the hotel. The Island Bungalow is very nice, although a bit dark. There are very few sockets, actually only in the bathroom. We moved the bedside table to get to a socket.

This is place is just superb. very clean ,pleasant and the vibe is soo relaxing. their private villa pool is excellent. The main pool is even more great. The vibe of the place is so relaxing that you feel soo good. Its a bit away from the center of Gill T. a 10 min cycle ride. but worth and just right . Just loved my stay at this place ..Highly recommended...

The resort has seen better days overall, however it still remains glorious with it's large pool and banyan trees. The sunset bungalow was spacious, with comfy bed and impeccable white sheets and towels. The water in outdoor bathroom has fresh water now. wifi is also available on the beach and pool area. Breakfast is buffet, decent selection, the fruits and pastries were delicious. The place is quiet, we loved it.

This is THE place you want to stay, for a nice and calm location, great food and the shortest ride from amazing sunsets! Can't recommend more! Go for a walk by the beach, enjoy a ride on a horse and end up watching a movie in a bean bag. Best life!

The rooms were beautiful, our private pool was so awesome to have, the staff were so friendly and helpful. The beach here was so amazing for sunset. They also let us rent bikes during our stay - that was really helpful!

We had an amazing 3 night stay. The hotel has very nice decoration in rooms and common areas. The personnel very friendly and helpful. The pool is enormous and the views from that point are magical! The ac works perfect in the rooms which is very spacious with huge comfortable bed. Very clean! Would totally recommend and stay here again definitely.

Fantastic service here, but too secluded for my liking. Nice views at the beach. Food here is terrible. Just salty, salty salty!

Hotel Facilities : Not Bad Services : Good Location : Perfect. Ombak Sunset Hotels is hotel Ombak Sunset was the first pioneer to build a swings by the beach. swing which became phenomenal at this time which many other hotels followed.

Stay one night and got the sunset bungalow. The room was spacious. Very clean. Air conditioned works very well. The bed very comfort. The staff also friendly and helpful. Just the location you have to pay alot for the andong.

Really recommended, staff super friendly and ready to help for any request. The room was amazing! huge and with private pool.

Villa is too far from thw center. In the midnight it become scary to cross such road. Also the villas are ok nd too manu mosquitos were there

The hotel structure is good and very spacious, and the villa was well-equipped and modern. It is located on a quiet part of the island, far from the crowd, but with a good amount of restaurants and beach bars nearby. The staff at the hotel were also very friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing stay on Gili T.

We had an amazing experience at this hotel - everything from the location, rooms, staff, service, decor, and size was superb. Unfortunately, we missed a day of our non-refundable agoda booking due to ferry cancellations caused by choppy seas. However, the hotel went above and beyond to accommodate us by offering credit that we could use at their spa, restaurants, and bar. Their generosity was greatly appreciated and made our stay even more enjoyable. Overall, we highly recommend this hotel for its exceptional service and beautiful location.

Rooms are decent but tap water is salty. Imagine bathing in salt water and brushing your teeth! They provided rusty cycle at expensive (relatively) rates. We were charged IDR 35.000 for an old rusty gearless bicycle while you get new gear bicycle with night light for 25.000 across the island. Was disappointed to see their private beach. We booked this place hoping to use the swings we saw in lot of their pics but they were not maintained and looked like abandoned houses.

Brilliant rooms rooms with nice little private pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful, assisting in organising a wonderful snorkeling tour. We saw loads of tropical fish and several seaturtles.

The location is on spot and the place is clean. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Basic amenities like kettle , coffee, drinking water is provided. Housekeeping is great. Staff is polite and helpful.The place is far from the port, so the only way to get there is by cart(which i believe are a tad bit expensive) or walk.( atleast when you arrive and leave, bikes can be rented once you arrive). We did not have a problem walking both ways.
