This
review
is
based
on
our
recent
stay
at
MTDC
during
Nov-2023.
We
couldn't
make
online
booking
due
to
issues
of
the
MTDC
portal.
We
reached
at
MTDC
Lonar
around
9
pm
on
Monday.
Rooms
were
available
and
price
displayed
at
notice
board
was
Rs
2100/-
plus
taxes
for
Super
Deluxe
AC
Room.
However,
person
attending
MTDC
office
refused
to
give
spot
booking
and
forced
us
to
book
only
through
MMT
portal,
where
price
for
the
same
Super
Deluxe
Room
was
Rs.
3248/-
inclusive
of
taxes.
We
had
no
option
but
to
book
through
MMT,
as
it
was
already
late
evening.
After
booking,
we
were
made
to
wait
for
nearly
one
hour,
as
the
office
staff
wanted
booking
confirmation.
It
appears
that
there
is
some
dealing
between
MTDC
staff
and
MMT.
We
were
told
that
the
MTDC
manager
is
on
LEAVE.
As
it
was
late,
only
menu
offered
was
DAL-KHICHADI
for
dinner.
Room
allotted
was
NOT
clean.
Electric
boiler
was
NOT
functioning.
Hence
NO
hot
water
was
available.
On
the
next
day
morning,
were
supplied
bucketful
water
for
bath.
There
is
intercom
and
had
to
personally
visit
office/canteen
for
any
kind
of
service.
Complimentary
breakfast
is
offered.
But
it
was
another
pathetic
experience.
Only
POHA
and
UPMA
is
offered
menu.
Quantity
offered
is
small.
Normally
unlimited
complimentary
breakfast
is
offered.
We
wanted
to
extend
stay
by
one
more
day.
We
could
manage
online
booking
through
MTDC
portal
for
second
day
at
a
total
price
2352/-
against
price
paid
for
first
day
3248/
-
via
MMT.
We
insisted
for
change
of
room.
The
room
had
boiler
in
the
bathroom
but
we
discovered
that
it
was
like
a
show
piece.
After
switching
on
boiler
for
half
an
hour
or
so
only
lukewarm
water
was
trickling
down.
Next
day,
before
check
out
we
asked
for
coffee
after
breakfast.
But
we
were
told
that
milk
is
NOT
available.
Location
of
the
resort
is
excellent
with
ample
car
parking
space.
But
MTDC
authorities
needs
to
do
course
correction
to
improve
the
overall
user
experience.
