No appointments available ever. I can't see a human for 3 years now. Phone appointments are useless as no one has access to a patient file. They never get back to you. Hospital requested to prescribe me with a medication but he surgery refused to proceed even I pay for the medication myself. I had to spend 3 days fighting in order to get my prescription! Since I see no doctors I cannot give any feedback. However, receptionist, management, nurses are very rude, lazy, never say sorry or thank you but always give wrong information, false promises and loose paperwork. They can't even receive emails from hospitals 😒. I will not advise anyone to use them.

This practice has gone downhill. Never use to be like this; now it is near impossible to get medical help from a Doctor, let alone get through to reception. The booking system in place is absolutely rubbish; you have to call 8am for an appointment on the same day. This does not work for a working person as you need to give work notice to attend an appointment. Only way I was able to make this possible was to book the whole day off, just so I can make the phone call alone with the hope to even get an appointment. Any appointment in advance is going to be 3 weeks away. Basically you will not see a doctor and if you’re concerned, A&E/111 is your only option. Called 8am to be in 34th place in the queue. After just under 20 minutes, I finally got through to be told they are fully book for the day and an on duty Doctor will call anytime during the day. To make matters worst, if the Dr feel the need to see my son, he will then ask us to come in same day or another day. Rubbish! Wasted day off!!! I rarely attend GP but this service is impractical so I be looking to leave the surgery. They also stopped the use of the online patch service which was helpful as a working person.

It is deeply ironic that the receptionists at this surgery have been appointed the role of 'care co-ordinators'. This is a shoddy attempt to save the optics of a surgery so steeped in ineptitude. You cannot book appointments in advance at this surgery - in order to see a 'doctor' you must prepare to enter the 'death queue' on the telephone at 8am. Even then, you'll find yourself listening to the dulcet tones of the phone ringing for hours on end with seemingly no end in sight. Forget thinking that any of the issues you are experiencing will be resolved by this surgery - they are not here to help. They are here to inform you, day in day out, that they have absolutely no appointments today and you need to call back at 8am tomorrow. Every day is Groundhog Day for the 'care co-ordinators' at this surgery - informing patients that they cannot help and they absolutely (how dare you even suggest it?) cannot offer any service of care to you. It's a real marvel that this surgery has not been shut down yet. They refuse to see you in person, citing 'covid' as their main reason for doing so, which is a shocking sham of an excuse for providing atrocious service. There are no legal restrictions on movements anymore although the surgery seems to have been under some self-imposed lockdown since 2021. A doctor examining a patient in person? Are you mad? Any attempt to get into contact with the supposed practice manager will lead nowhere. You can email the surgery and voice your complaint, but it gets sucked into a void. A surgery that is unable to let patients book appointments in advance, who force patients to sit in a telephone death queue for hours on end only to be informed there are no appointments today try tomorrow, should be shut down. The most unhinged thing about this surgery is that the 'care co-ordinators' love nothing more than to ask you what's wrong. What's the problem? Tell me everything. It's pure sadism how they probe your concern, despite knowing there are no appointments, just so they can flex their pseudo-doctor skills. If you have something wrong with you, just sit and suffer at home, otherwise you'll be sitting and suffering on a telephone, in an 8am death queue, slowly losing your mind. Welcome to day 4,661 of Tory Britain.

This place is just a scam to get money from the NHS by registering lots of patients they can't deal with. You won't get an appointment so don't waste your time hanging on the phone for up to an hour. They hang up mid call, promise to call back then don't claiming that they called and it wasn't answered even though there are no missed calls recorded on the phone. Don't register with them as you merely increase the problem. There are no positive reviews, you can't use the online system as it doesn't work. one star as you can't leave 0

This place is absolutely disgusting. I am surprised this hasn’t been closed down. My experience within this place is unbelievable. Waited for months and months for a face to face appointment for a doctor to see my severely scarred skin, for him to refer me to a dermatologist finally, and then give the dermatologist clinic my INCORRECT details, wasting my time and £40 worth of cab fares for the appointment to be cancelled due to their stupidity. They not only sent me to the wrong clinic, the appointment had even been cancelled! I am disgusted and I want justice for all of this. You call yourselves doctors? Please you’re absolutely nothing.

I am still waiting to see a doctor face to face. I had a major operation a few months ago. Also waiting for referrals for xray and other bits. Also for a few years I cannot see a doctor. I had high blood pressure. And they still let me leave the surgery. Also the nurse that takes your blood test.started shouting at me cause I was late and being very rude.

Scheduled a call with me @12:15pm. It is currently 14:04 at the time of writing this review and still have received nothing. I called 111 @7am this morning so in total have been waiting 7 hours for healthcare.

If you are ill, or have something wrong forget it as you are likely to be dead by the time you get through. I have been on the phone for the last 60 minutes, I started off being 10th in the queue and at 5th in the queue I had been on the phone for 60 minutes. Nothing improves with this surgery and for all the excuses they make they need to get their act together. Getting to see a GP previously was a horror story, getting to see a GP now is just near on impossible. I would give this surgery a minus but 1 star is as low as you can go unfortunately.

Unbelievably underfunded. The place is filthy, the chairs are broken, their doors barely work, and they don't have enough staff. They've deferred all of their appointments to online services which rarely work, and they will literally hang up on you while you're still in the queue. The government needs to treat the NHS and its staff so much better. This neglect comes from the government, not the surgery. The FPCC needs so much more funding to get it back up to code.

The service offered by this institution is simply appalling. Not only can appointments not be booked in advance, but even when attempting to book one the same day, it is incredibly difficult. I called yesterday to book an appointment and was informed that I could only book an appointment in the morning. When I called again this morning, the receptionist told me that I had to call back in two hours because the pre-booked appointments were not open. This kind of extreme poor service is simply unacceptable and it is unreasonable to expect a customer to have to call three times in order to book an appointment.

I came in today to do a urine test as i was advised by the doctor, I waited a queue for 15 mins, girl at reception told me to sit down and she’d bring my test sample and papers to me. So i sat down carried on waiting while she was still serving every single person for 20 mins more, i got up said “is your printer not working “ she said “no its just that im new” How ridiculous what a shame this is a GP practice, how unprofessional this surgery has got!! What a disaster!

If I could put 0 stars I would. This GP practice has given many people including myself many issues sometimes life threatening. Don't even get me started on mental health care there. There is a doctor "certified" mental health association but will happily scream at you down the phone for having a hard time.( if you can even get an appointment that is). Refuses to put medication of repeat and if you do manage to, its constantly rejected and "up for review". How.u need reviews each month when under a team is beyond a joke. Place needs closing, avoid at all cost if you wanna survive.

They are killing patients!! NHS please investigate!! The receptionist is preparing different medications to patients, she will prescription a different medication from what doctors have mentioned. The patients will then go to pharmacy and take different medications that are harmful to them. My mum was about to die of taking 20mg of blood thinner medicine, which she was supposed to be taking 10mg. How can they do a mistake like this. This is done for purpose and went on for several months. How can Doctor prescription 10mg and pharmacy will give 20mg? National Health service’s please investigate this place. Something totally wrong and scary is happening.

So so so bad on so many levels. The receptionist are so rude and unhelpful. The GP’s are ok and caring, once you get past the hounds at reception. Called to book an appointment and the automated service said I am number 79 in the queue. This was at 1 minute past 8 am. I believe. This is due to the incompetent staff at reception, that constantly get things wrong, hence people having to call again and again and again. This is not cost-effective, and it doesn’t help us the patience. Medicus health centre, take my foolish advice, and do a reshuffle at reception, then you’re reviews may change.

They are never helpful, try to assume what you've got and always palm you off to 111. I get it they are busy, seems all the time but what happened to the days you could come in and wait as an extra? My partner called them today because she was having alot of lower abdominal pain, lower back pain and also she feels really rough......all they can say is 'they have no appointments and to call 111'. It's been years since I have seen a doctor purely because they never have one when you need one. Do they want us to predict when we are going to be ill and book a doctor in advance? And the lady on the phone makes you feel more of a pest than a patient!!

This GP which comes under Medicus is the worst GP practice ever. It is literally impossible to get an appointment or any type of help for that matter. They only seem to offer on the day appointments, which you have to call up at 8am for and by 8:01am they are all gone. That’s if you can even get through to them, as you’re usually number 60 in the queue with a wait of over an hour. The fact that you cannot get an in advance routine appointment ahead of time, is the most ridiculous thing I’ve ever known, as not every problem requires an on the day appointment. GP receptionists are incredibly unhelpful and are just there to answer the phone and tell you that you need to call back at 8am the next day. Being under Medicus, it is a guessing game what GP practice and actual doctor you will get an appointment with. Gone are the days of having a designated GP surgery and actual GP that knows you and your history. Instead, you’ll get an appointment with a GP who is not even from your surgery and makes absolutely no effort to even check your notes. Incredibly insensitive and impersonal. As someone with a lifelong medical condition who is on medication, unfortunately I have to contact the GP often and every single time it is the most stressful experience, which fills me with complete anxiety. To the point where I would rather go unwell, than have to contact this GP surgery. Patches service - This service is pointless. Firstly, it is never available and secondly, trying to get help through this service is impossible. You request something and before anyone contacts you for more information or clarity, they just make an assumption and close down your request, without you have the opportunity to respond to their message. So you still have to end up calling, to only be number 61 in the queue. Also, it is pointless requesting admin services on here as you’re just told that you need an appointment anyway and it is near enough impossible to even get an appointment. I have now made the decision to find a new GP practice, one which is not under Medicus, as it is hugely affecting my mental health and well-being.

Tried all options to get appointment all options not available and then find out from app that I’m booked a telephone consultation (which I did not receive) when called to say had not received call get told well dr tried and couldn’t get through yet have no missed calls or messages and still no appointment as they are too busy yet all surgeries are pretty much empty unless you get one booked through Nhs helpline. Simple to say since becoming medicus you are no longer medical as anyone I’ve spoken too has same issues as me

Has to be the absolute worse GP in the area if not the country, I'd give them a score in the minus if I could, the staff are fuelled with attitude and incompetence. Mistakes are the only consistent thing about them! You can never get through and when you do they have nothing available ever, they say someone will call back, no one ever calls back and then when you query it, they deny all knowledgeof the call, I've never been less than 25+ in the telephone queue at 8am when they say to call. This practice has lost my results, confused me with another patient of a similar name, giving me all their result,....massive breach of gdpr!!!! And probably gave that person my results!! And when you bring it to the staffs attention they get defensive and can't even take responsibility for their errors, mistakes and breaches of gdpr! They apparently have no appointments and can't offer any in the future, you have to call every day at 8am!?!?! To be told there's nothing left...again! This practice gave me an infection with they're dirty unsterile equipment! So many mistakes, so many times, this practice is negligent and doesn't care about the patients, they're lazy and rude and talk to everyone like they're stupid! I contacted Medicus directly but theyre also full of attitude, negligence and cannot deal with complaints. Overall an incredibly incompetent and neglegent gp practice, my pets get treated better at the vets! This place should be investigated in my opinion, so many overlooked and ignored mistakes affecting peoples health but they don't care at all! Lazy, useless, horrible staff and GPS!

I wish there was a 0 rating. Canceled the first ever appointment without telling us and lied that a text was sent. Extremely rude at the reception. I'm dumbfounded as to how some people such low level of professionalism, empathy and care are allowed to work in a place that's supposed to care for the community.

Friday afternoon and it has taken me 5 calls to get through to my gp, first time I was 3rd in the queue, when i got to 1st in the queue I was cut off, same happened on my next call, I was second in the queue, got to one and I was cut off. 3rd time I was 4th in the queue, then cut off when it got to one! 5th time I was 4th in the queue and I actually got through! Just have to wait 6 days in pain for the pharmacist to ok some painkillers that I have had before! 18 wasted minutes.

Absolutely awful GP, especially over the last 3ish years. They take ages to pick up, are dismissive and sometimes downright rude. They never book in-person appointments anymore, and are awful with callbacks. Their signal drops nearly everytime and no one calls back when the call is cut short. I cannot describe the sheer annoyance I feel every single time I have to deal with them.

Currently still waiting for an appointment that was supposed to be at 1pm, we arrived at 12:45pm to check in on the machine and it’s currently 1:20pm. We’ve just been sitting here with no updates as to what the situation is and when I decided to ask the staff, all they said was that the check in machine was broken - NO SIGNAGE OR ANY INDICATION do you wouldn’t ever know until you ask! We finally got seen to at 1:30pm, the Doctor was lovely and the appointment took 5mins - she too said she wasn’t informed we had arrived because the check in machine was broken. They really need to do something about this. It was a very stressful wait for my mother who was so sick she could barely walk. The receptionist showed no remorse or any signs that they will even bother to fix this issue, when you mention it to them all they say is they know and apologise but all they need to know is print a quick sign to say the machine doesn’t work so we have to check in at the desk. We were the only ones in the clinic for 30mins and she didn’t think to mention this to us. Ridiculous! No wonder people self-diagnose and try to fix their problems themselves. Going to see a GP shouldn’t be this stressful and the incompetence at this particular clinic has been going on for 10+ years!
