They don't even deserve 1 star star but there is no option for zero star. Ok so I went for a simple exchange the lady on till was rude enough she told me to wait and went to see the manager after a while came back saying she been told by her manager that they will not do the exchange so I ask to see the manager so she direct us ( me and my wife ) to her manager as we were walking of she said something on radio to her manager about us. So as soon as we reach to manager she started being rude even before we said anything and told us both to get out. I ask the manager can she give me her name she refused and keep saying have a good day and get out then I ask her why u being so rude even before hearing us she start calling us names and all that. So avoid going to SPORTSDIRECT

Buyer beware - Sports Direct makes up its prices! Price on the box may well not be what you pay! Take a look at the photo: clearly different prices but they charged me £21.99 for both pairs (I have twins so every penny counts!). Buyer beware check before you pay (manager explained that they are in such a rush to stock the shelves they cannot be held responsible for correct prices being on boxes 😂🙄

As others have said, wish I could give 0 stars. What kind of store manager actually walks away from a customer when asking for an exchange on poor quality shoes that lasted 2 months? She made my blood boil. I have never experienced such appalling customer service. Why is she still in this job after receiving all these appalling reviews?? Felt very sorry for the young helpful lady on the till who had to try and deal with the aftermath. She remained polite and calm.

Just needed some cheap tracksuit bottoms, which I was able to find and at a good price (fingers crossed they hold up well over time). I did have a few questions for the staff in regards toy purchase and the majority of the staff where really friendly and helpful so a massive thank you to them and to keep up the good work. Sadly I can't rate the store higher, as my mum asked the female manager just a simple question and was met with a very rude, short tempered and unhelpful response. If she was there by herself, it was enough of an experience to make her walk out the store immediately and then broadcast the experience to her social circle as a place to avoid. Although the rest of the staffs friendly attitude helped amend her opinion of the store overall, but it's very unlikely she will return. If you guys get the chance, get that woman some training asap! She shouldn't be working in retail if you can't even be polite let alone be civil to you customer's.

No product knowledge, poor service on football boot section, told there were no sizes available across 6 different elite pairs of boots including 2x newly released. Seemed more interested in getting me and another customer out of the store at 7.20pm than serving us properly.

Today I had Very very poor customer service in this Shope. one of lady staff worked near to exit wearing spectacles reply to me very rudely . I trying to buy t shirt and I asked do you have medium size and she showed me I try that but not enough for me. I asked again do you have large one . That time she is angry and replied me very rudely.

Would give zero if possible. Most unhelpful uninterested staff- One person reluctantly and slowly helping everyone waiting, barely anything in stock. Took 45 mins and asking multiple times to get 2 pairs of shoes and eventually gave up and left without buying anything.

A horrible experience, will never shop in this store again….. went in too exchange a box of 4 boxer shorts (Reebok) I had picked up wrong size Was told very rudely do not exchange underwear, even though they were untouched. I asked to see the manager & to my surprise this rude and confrontational woman was the manager A disgraceful person

Really impressed with the helpfulness of the guy with the long dark hair who works at Sports Direct Orpington. I asked him about Karrimor sandals, as there were none on display (I think because they have moved over to winter stock). He said he believed there may be a few left in the stockroom, and asked what size and colour I was looking for – then immediately got on his walkie-talkie to a colleague in the stock room, who duly appeared with two pairs of sandals. Both men could not have been more helpful and pleasant, and I was really impressed that they were prepared to go above and beyond by searching in the stock room for something that was not on display. These guys are great ambassadors for your brand Sports Direct, and for making sure you make sales! Fantastic service.

Went to buy some football boots and was given a boot off of display as it was the last one. It had a couple of scuffs on it and has obviously been worn so when I got to the till I asked if we could have any money off as the product isn't 100%. The manager was called over and didn't even look at the condition and said no and just walked off without even talking to us. This is the second time we've been in and staff have just been rude and unhelpful.

Managed to find what I needed without any help from staff. (Which I think are few and far between). Waiting a while to be served as only one person serving customers downstairs 🤔. Otherwise a pleasant experience. 👍

Bit of a wait to buy trainers. Wasn’t too busy however seemed to be a lack of staff on the shop floor. Anyway got what I was looking for. It’s cheap so can’t complain too much.

Staff are friendly & helpful. When they're under pressure,it nice to bare with them.. it not easy dealing with rude customer. It work both ways,with staff & customer. Keep up the good work. I buy most of my cycling clothes here.

Not the best On floor customer service but a good Sports shop with lots of Clothing/Footwear/Accessories options for all ages. Parking in front of shop. Close to McDonald's and Nugent shopping centre. Very busy on weekends.

Got what I wanted, but man they need to organise their staff better in the store. Took longer to wait to get shoes than it did to try them on and buy them. And it wasn't busy ...

Very nice store with helpful and friendly staffs. However everything turned upside down since the female manager came to deal with a refund, she was very rude and unprofessional, her words were almost humiliating, worst ever experience. Won’t be back for sure.

The most miserable unhelpful and downright sour customer service I have ever received. If they don't want to be there get another job.

Wouldn’t even give them a 1 star if 0 was a option, absolutely shocking customer service, only 1 guy on the whole shop doing shoes (across 2 floors) poor guy couldn’t keep up with the demand and seemed very stressed out, loads of other staff members walking around chatting to other staff members but none could serve shoes apparently, more interested in chatting than a paying customer. When we asked if they could find us a shoe size or who could we was met with a very rude “I’m clocked off, not my problem” wouldn’t tell us who the manager was either, lots of other customers were annoyed and frustrated with the fact there was no one that wanted to help, wouldn’t bother coming here at all absolute waste of time and rude staff

Not one staff member seemed to be on the shop floor upstairs or down, 2 people at the front who couldn’t help as they where ‘clocked off’ couldn’t help and wouldn’t and no other members could be found apart from on tills - also another member of the public walked out and said they have had the same issues - well done you have lost our business.
