I went there for our small wedding anniversary dinner, just 2 of us, and it was a great choice! The food was very authentic Thai, my favourite jungle curry was cooked with the correct level of heat and the platter for 2 was a great mixture unlike some other Thai places I visited. To complete it all, they offered us 2 sticky toffee pudding as a little gift for our anniversary.

A great little restaurant called Thai spicy in a traditional pub in Bexley. Pub was lively and friendly. The food was delicious and we tried as many dishes as we could. Everything we had was really good! We found out about this place after a friend recommended it and we’ll be coming back to try the rest of the menu! The ladies who work there are amazing and super friendly. The papaya salad and Tom yum soup was my favourite!

Visited Thai Spicy after a colleague recommended it, the tastiest and most authentic Thai food I’ve had in ages and definitely my new local go to. My friend and I ordered the mixed starter for two (not pictured but so cheap for the amount of food you get!), prawn jungle curry, sticky rice, pineapple red curry roasted duck, egg fried rice and stir fried Kai-Lan on the side. Everything was delicious, absolute favourite was the pineapple red curry duck which is thick, creamy and moreish. Jungle curry was tasty, slightly thinner sauce than the red curry duck and as spicy as promised, so perfect for our Nigerian palettes - only recommend if you can handle spice! Thank you for your lovely service and hospitality Pearl, will definitely be coming back.

A hidden gem! Thai Spicy served the most delicious food - authentic, perfectly cooked dishes. Very impressed! Every plate was mouth-watering, but we would highly recommend the garlic and salt squid (soft squid and crispy coating) and the massaman beef (melt in the mouth). Pearl served us today, and she made us feel very welcome, the perfect host. The food was beautifully presented, and Pearl even arranged for us to take our leftovers home. It was too good to leave behind! We would love to return another time and will recommend the restaurant to others too. Thank you, Thai Spicy, for the perfect lunch today.

The most inviting pub on the high street. Went in to decide where to eat, only to find they do proper Thai food. Recommended.

We wandered in having not done any research on places to eat. A lovely pub and delicious Thai food. The pad Thai and massaman curry were superb. The waitress was very friendly and if we are in the area I'll definitely be back.

Great addition to Bexley Village restaurant options. A delicious, authentic Thai at reasonable prices. We were a table of 8 with 2 babies and were warmly welcomed, including the smaller guests. We enjoyed everything we ate (most of the menu!) and will definitely be returning. The option to have it as takeaway (albeit pick up only) is also very appealing!! We will see you again soon!

Fabulous food and the lady who served us was lovely. The starters satay and gyoza and duck were good but the main meals especially the curry’s (we had green and yellow) were the stars of the show for me. Papaya salad was fresh and spicy and prawn Phad Thai cooked perfectly. It really was the best Thai food I have had in a long time and would highly recommend. The only negative for me was that I thought I was booking in the restaurant. However, they had a private function on so we were sat in the pub on a very busy Saturday night, with people walking past us to the toilet and party every couple of minutes, not quite the ambiance I was expecting.

Since a few weeks ago I tried this place I’ve been back to the kings head each week, this being my 3rd time. Pearl and her colleagues create Thai food that is simply out of this world. Also like to say good shout to Kelly the landlady of the Kings Head for giving Thai Spicy the opportunity to excel. Anyone that likes great food must visit Kings Head Bexley. Proper pub with an awesome Thai Kitchen what a great combination. Simply delectable.

absolutely 5 star! Very traditional Thai food, Taste really good, Just like having meal in Thailand local restaurant. Is already in my pocket, If you like Thai food, must try this restaurant.

My husband and I had lunch at the Thai Spice at rhe Kings Head yesterday and we thoroughly enjoyed, the Platter for 2 was tasty, varied and excellent value, my Duck main meal was delicious and so was the Pork neck, the sauces are so moreish and all was served with a lovely smile, thank you Pearl! The beer was also perfect! We will be back for sure!

What a lovely meal we had inside the king's head pub. The restaurant is at the back of the pub, or you can order food and eat it in the pub. We visited on a Wednesday night so the restaurant was empty, however the pub had spaces so we decided to eat there, although we could have sat in the restaurant if we had preferred. The food was lovely and very reasonable prices and had good portion sizes. The lovely Pearl, who served us, helped with the menu and as a result we had new food experiences that will become favourites. We will be returning with our friends so that they too can experience the magic of the Thai Spicy.
