I was told today by a secretary for one of the Urologists consultant, that I was DISGUSTING for not telling them sooner that my father had passed away , his appointment was in 3weeks time , he only passed away two days ago . She had the audacity to tell me most people do it straight away . I’m sorry but I thought I was getting around to it quite quickly. How is someone like this allowed to answer a phone , it’s beyond me .

Bad service! My child has an ear rash and a high temperature. They gave me only kalpol and told me to do it tomorrow in the morning. We cannot accept you now. What the hell is the question? Not a very pleasant situation. And not for the first time.

This place is an absolute joke. We were told on 2 occasions that we have 3 people in front of us, and we stood and watched 5 people get called in front of us. My advice is unless you have to come here avoid it like the plague, as you have more chance of waiting to win the lottery than seeing a doctor.

It was taking so long to see a doctor, people were leaving before they were seen. When a nurse called a name and no one responded, she went back in and came back for another patient after… 15 minutes. It happened twice while I was waiting. They also took unreasonably long time after one patient left and before they call next patient.

I came here at 19.23 on monday with an what I think is a fractured ankle and got turned away even though the closing time is 8pm the nurse claimed there was 7 people waiting although there was only 1 person waiting in the only waiting area and no vehicles in the car park, what has this country come to, absolutely shocking! This is really sad and heart breaking, I have come to use the ''emergency" service only to be sent home at the reception desk by those who are employed to have a duty of care because they are closing soon (37 minutes later) without being seen to.

Was sent here by NHS 111 as away from home and had forgotten 5 blood pressure tablets, I know that this medication is important so went here and registered, after a few minutes the nurse called me in and then told me they couldn’t help me as they only had one doctor, this isn’t the first time that Beckenham Beacon have refused members of my family and myself, you need to get your act together

Car park had only a few cars and arrived at 7.40pm and told weren’t taking any more patients. The place is meant to be open 8 to 8 which means you should be able to arrive by 8 and be seen! Receptionists sitting there doing nothing but chatting and you could hear laughter in the back. Told to go to pruh urgent care centre which I did and six hour wait so went home. And the junior doctors are on strike for four days now wanting 35% more pay for doing less and less. Greedy ……

Id I could give zero star to the reception I would. I have been there twice with my 5-year-old daughter and was disappointed with the rudeness of the receptionist. Both times, I experienced inpatient and Impoliteness. That’s so sad because people who go there are already suffering, and they need empathy, but instead, they get rudeness. I don’t understand why nobody does anything, considering so many complaints about the same thing. It’s a shame

The information provided on the phone was not accurate. They told us to go from 8 am and we wasted our time going so early for a treatment they were not able to deliver. Triple check the service they provide if you need to go, I called the Beckenham Beacon and 111, and both told me I could go from 8 am unfortunately once in the emergency care centre they told me the opposite (Remove Stiches)

We went to see a speach and language therapist for my daughter and she helped my daughter stay engaged in the activity worked around my daughter and her needs and was very understanding. We have been here before for the minor injuries department which was not as great but I could understand as it was incredibly busy but otherwise I would ay this place was very good very clean and seemed very organised on the time of my visit

Not bad place to go but waiting times nearly same as going princess royal which have more gps and services available, limited xray times and only 1-2 doctors at a time for illness waiting times always up to 4 hours.

This place is better than my old doctors for ease of booking appointments but the standard of care is shocking. I leave feeling gaslit and alone nearly every time I go. A few months ago I went in to talk about how much I was struggling with my mental health and the doctor was cold, careless and was obviously uncomfortable with seeing me cry. I haven't been back since. Also whenever I go in to talk about how tired I am all the time they send me to get me 10th blood test of the year (even though there's never anything wrong with the blood tests) and send me on my way. I know it's not the NHS fault that they're understaffed but please hire staff that CARE.

DOCTOR TREVOR in Urgent Walk in Centre, THANK YOU. This doctor really cares, he listened to all my issues, was honest and caring. He then phoned PRUH and waited until he spoke to a doctor in the gyno dept, and told them I was coming. He made sure everything was coordinated for my arrival at PRUH. Thank you, you really helped me out and now I'm better because of your diligence, care and thoughtfulness. It's people like yourself who make a world of difference.

After explaining the injury, the triage was done and only waited 30mins before being seen by a specialist. I was not given all the advice I hoped for but at least I had a clearer picture of the gravity of the injury. The staff was nice.

Wait times are REALLY long (expect to wait more than an hour to see a doctor), and you need to arrive before 4pm to avoid being redirected to another medical centre. But at least it’s free, even for tourists.

I am very disappointed with my entire experience after visiting UCC on 30th of December. Initially triaged by very young locum nurse who wasnt even aware that there was an x-ray on the premises and advised me that I will probably not be seen (it was 2.40 and centre closes at 8pm) and that I should probably make my way to a&e anyway. As it waa extremly difficult for me to walk due to trauma to my ankle and I wasnt able to waight beare I decided to wait. It took almost 5 hours to be seen by trauma nurse (no complaits there, very knowledgable). No diagnoses on the day or any time afterwards. Report from x-ray signed off after 5 days only after PALS got involved (not sure why centre is called urgent care....). Every time I called to ask about results and furher plan, I was told that nurse will call me back but nobody did. One receptionist, when asked about her name said to me that I am "funny" asking that question and refused to provide her name. Every time I waa told that it is not a good time... As an NHS staff, I was very let down and disappointed with how disorganized everything was and that in the end I had not received any help, advice or treatment. Centre clearly more focused on seeing people with cough and colds and other infections than injties or trauma.
