I arrived on a same-day booking after an exceptionally busy day at work followed by a 3-hour drive. The owner was extremely welcoming, heated my own food up despite it being nearly 10pm and booked my friend in for the following evening. She advised me about parking and I moved my car into a better bay on her recommendation. I slept well, the shower was great, breakfast delicious and just the right size. Again the owners were helpful and friendly. I couldn’t recommend this guest house more highly- particularly if it’s the personal touch that you like and would rather use a small independent business than a huge corporate chain!!!

We had a lovely family room with own bathroom. It was clean and all felt fresh and new. The windows were sound-proof, so the traffic outside did not disturb us at all. The breakfast was impressive, what a choice! The owners were friendly and very helpful. We would stay here again, and have already recommended Marple Cottage to others.

Our stay was excellent - lovely family run hotel located in the heart of Wimbledon. Very cozy and friendly place for holidays or business trip . Easy access to local busses and trains (Wimbledon station). Recommending with the eyes shut.

We stayed here the night before my brothers wedding and can highly recommend. The team were so friendly and flexible with a late check out we needed. The breakfast is fresh and tasty, very well cooked. Lovely family and fabulous people!

Clean and tidy with a super host. I was looking to move accommodation in London, after 5 days at an accommodation chain. I found Marple Cottage on a google search of Wimbledon and called direct to speak to Nick (Manager), as I wanted to move the next day. Nick was very accommodating, given I wanted to move in considerably earlier than the advertised check in time. Marple Cottage is clean, tidy and very well run by Nick and Bridgette (Mum). After a trip to Birmingham I had further accommodation already booked and paid for in Fulham Broadway. Upon getting to this accommodation I found it dirty and not well maintained, so called Nick at Marple Cottage again to see if he could find a room for me. Nick was again very helpful and I again moved in early the next day. I look forward to booking in again on my next visit to London, this time with some advanced notice 😊 Thanks again to Nick and Bridgette for your hospitality and going above and beyond in your service. Highly recommended.

Nick and the other staff went out of their way to make sure my stay there was comfortable and convenient. Marple Cottage is a 10-15 min walk from the nearest tube station, but the neighbourhood is nice. Highly reccommend!

Lovely room, great location (we stayed here to go to Wimbledon Tennis) and staff were very friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend!
