I’d
been
thinking
of
doing
a
yoga
teacher
training
course
for
years.
I’d
even
started
one
eight
years
ago,
led
by
a
prominent
teacher
in
Seattle,
only
to
abandon
it
half
way
through
out
of
complete
boredom.
I’m
only
mentioning
this
to
say,
if
you’re
thinking
of
doing
a
teacher
training
course,
do
your
research!
Not
all
accredited
courses
are
alike.
The
Yoga
Edge
was
my
saving
grace
when
I
moved
to
the
neighbourhood
after
lockdown.
The
studio
itself
has
a
really
welcoming
community
vibe,
and
the
instructors
are
top
notch.
When
I
saw
the
teacher
training
program
posted,
I
felt
really
drawn
to
it
but
still
had
a
lot
of
reservations
based
on
my
first
experience.
Tom
was
really
open
and
generous
with
his
time
answering
all
my
questions
in
a
really
kind
and
non-pressurised
way.
Fast
forward
to
now,
and
I’ve
just
completed
the
course
and
couldn’t
be
happier
with
my
decision
to
do
it!!
It’s
honestly
been
two
of
the
best,
most
transformative
months
of
my
life
and
I’m
sad
it’s
over.
But
also
really
excited
to
start
teaching
yoga!
The
course
was
impeccably
designed.
Highly
organised,
yet
freeing
because
the
pace
was
so
well-considered.
We
were
never
overly
burdened
with
too
much
information,
which
I
think
comes
down
to
how
highly
skilled
and
passionate
the
teachers
are
who
lead
the
course.
Expect
lots
of
pranayama,
meditation,
yoga,
and
teaching
practice
from
day
one.
Additional
modules
are
layered
across
the
course
–
everything
from
anatomy,
pose
modifications,
Sanskrit,
chanting
and
emotional
healing.
Fascinating
stuff.
I
also
want
to
say
Tom
creates
a
really
safe
space
to
be
yourself,
and
is
gifted
at
facilitating
community.
I
met
some
of
the
most
wonderful
new
friends
through
this
course,
and
will
be
forever
grateful
for
this
experience.
Thankyou!
