I just completed the Yoga Edge Teacher Training at the Yoga Edge and I can't say enough great things about it! Tom and the rest of the amazing teachers like Craig, Sally, Nikki and Jill gave so much warmth and knowledge that it was an experience like no other. It's a complete life transformation! It's only been 2 days since I finished and I'm already missing it. If anyone is thinking about doing a teacher training qualification with the Yoga Edge my advice is do it, you won't regret it.

I just wanted to give some feedback on Sally’s class this morning. It was absolutely fantastic! She runs the class so well, connects everyone in the room and the flow is fluid and strong with options to rest when needed. The passion, empathy and energy she brings to every class is amazing. Everyone left the class today uplifted and with a sense of community; it was really special.

I’m thrilled and thankful I eventually made it through the front door at The Yoga Edge after years of thinking about it and I so look forward to that one hour of calm, exhilaration, awareness and so much more on my mat! The teachers are no less than brilliant – completely in touch with us all no matter what we bring to the class, our levels of experience. I’m loving learning about my breathing, my body, what I can and can’t do, the possibilities and overall awareness of myself. In short, after just a month I am astounded at what the Yoga Edge is doing for me day by day and it wouldn’t be a stretch to say that I feel that a wonderful, unexpected, life-style shift is on its way.

Yoga Edge is where my journey and practice with yoga began and over four years later I continue to come to this quaint, calming and minimalist studio. Cannot recommend this studio enough and so deeply grateful for the teachers who show up and deliver an incredible class every single time!

I’ve been a member of The Yoga Edge for over 3 years and I can’t recommend it enough. The regular dynamic classes are strong, yet accessible; a great combination of strength building workout and stretching release and I continue to get more out of them every week. All the teachers are great and have their own take on the dynamic style, varying sequences each time so it’s easy to mix things up a bit. Both studios are welcoming and friendly with a great community feel. All the classes are online & recorded too so if you’re practicing from home you can catch up whenever suits (which is perfect for me), though if you catch them live you’ll still get remote feedback and suggestions for adjustment from the teachers so it doesn’t feel like you’re on your own. Whilst The Yoga Edge doesn’t do ALL the styles and variations of yoga out there, having tried loads of studios I find the classes here are perfect for a friendly regular, reliable practice that makes you feel great whenever you need :)

I highly recommend The Yoga Edge 200 hour Teacher Training course. The content is well thought out and structured, and the experience personalised to the group. Every course teacher involved brings something unique and is completely invested in the development of the students. It feels wonderful to be part of the Yoga Edge community and to have found support in teachers and peers that will see me beyond the course and into the next steps of my yoga teaching journey. Huge thanks to Tom and his team.

I’ve been a member of The Edge for several years, the teachers are welcoming, the classes are great and my yoga practice has come on leaps and bounds since joining. This year I did their 200hr teacher training. I was expecting to learn how to teach yoga - but that was just the tip of the iceberg. I’ve come away not only confident in teaching but also transformed from the inside out. The training takes things to another level, covering obvious subjects like anatomy/yoga history- But also unexpected (and really important) subjects like personal transformation/being your own authentic teacher and inclusivity in yoga - which lit a fire in me personally. It was far from a one size fits all approach to teaching - I’ve come away a truer version of myself with a clearer vision of what I want for my life. I can’t recommend doing it enough.

I’d been thinking of doing a yoga teacher training course for years. I’d even started one eight years ago, led by a prominent teacher in Seattle, only to abandon it half way through out of complete boredom. I’m only mentioning this to say, if you’re thinking of doing a teacher training course, do your research! Not all accredited courses are alike. The Yoga Edge was my saving grace when I moved to the neighbourhood after lockdown. The studio itself has a really welcoming community vibe, and the instructors are top notch. When I saw the teacher training program posted, I felt really drawn to it but still had a lot of reservations based on my first experience. Tom was really open and generous with his time answering all my questions in a really kind and non-pressurised way. Fast forward to now, and I’ve just completed the course and couldn’t be happier with my decision to do it!! It’s honestly been two of the best, most transformative months of my life and I’m sad it’s over. But also really excited to start teaching yoga! The course was impeccably designed. Highly organised, yet freeing because the pace was so well-considered. We were never overly burdened with too much information, which I think comes down to how highly skilled and passionate the teachers are who lead the course. Expect lots of pranayama, meditation, yoga, and teaching practice from day one. Additional modules are layered across the course – everything from anatomy, pose modifications, Sanskrit, chanting and emotional healing. Fascinating stuff. I also want to say Tom creates a really safe space to be yourself, and is gifted at facilitating community. I met some of the most wonderful new friends through this course, and will be forever grateful for this experience. Thankyou!

I recently completed by 200hr yoga teacher training with the Yoga Edge and it has been an absolutely life changing experience. I’ve thought about doing my tt for over 15 years but am so happy that I waited until now and attend Tom’s incredible course. Impeccably structured and brilliantly delivered the course gives you an amazing foundation of yoga as a whole including asana principles, pranayama, meditation, anatomy, yoga history & philosophy, Sanskrit, chakras, emotional development, inclusivity, professional development and a huge amazing of practical teaching experience (both in class and with public in the community classes). The course is delivered by Tom and a number of the wonderful teachers from his studio including Sally, Craig, Nikki and Jill. Each one bringing their wealth of experience and individual approach. It was varied and invaluable giving us different insights and POV of the industry as a whole (all of which complimented each other and gave us a more rounded overview). I was not a regular client of the yoga edge studio before doing the course but I am so thrilled now to have joined its community and to have such a tight knit group to move forward as graduates. I would highly recommend the course to anyone looking to train as a yoga teacher.

I attended a few brilliant studio classes before lockdown and wasn’t excited by the prospect of online classes via Zoom. However my experience has been fantastic, I’ve really grown in my practice & appreciate time on my mat in familiar surroundings of home. The teachers are very personable and connect with you on an individual level; offering cues, correction or advise along the way. Regular yoga practice has really kept me sane & a look forward to being back on the studio soon! Would highly recommend
