I am not normally the one who writes bad reviews but I thought this was something that needed to be passed on. I went triyoga to try their hot yoga class. First ‘strike’ was when I was greeted but clearly a very moody girl behind the till who was from what ever reason quite sassy to me. She even raised her voice at me and shouted why are you here? I tried to keep it cool and I said I was here to try hot yoga and have already checked in at the ipad. She did her due diligence and asked for my name to be sure. It set me off to a bad mood, but I thought I was going to relax in the hot yoga class. But little did I know what waiting for me. The experience of that hot yoga studio was vile. Vile because as soon as I opened the door to the studio, the smell was beyond horrendous. It stunk SO much in the class I am pretty sure that was against human rights to be kept in that room for a full hour. It stunk of sweaty feet, sweaty bodies and just pure horrendous body odor of 1000 sweaty bodies. I understand this is a hot yoga class and people do sweat but in a normal studio you’d open a window for a bit and get some fresh air in and close it off so the heat doesn’t go out. But this was ABOSLUTELY vile. It was disgusting to be lying there and breathing in that air that tasted like rotten feet and what’s worst is that I even paid for this experience! The hygiene of the members taking the class was very questionable but I understand this is out of triyoga’s control. When I finished the class my friend who I was with and recommended the studio just looked and me and said she was sorry we came. I am not normally the one who writes reviews but I thought this was such a strong negative experience…the smell of the room still haunts me until this day! However, the teacher of the class was lovely. I also attended the Shoreditch studio of triyoga which is much more pleasant!

Turned up for my very first reformer session I was booked in 10 mins ahead of schedule. Got changed into the disabled toilets as no sign of changing rooms available. The guy at reception took some good 5 minutes to seach for a pair of grippy socks for me to attend the session, charged the (ridiculous) amount of £12.5 😅😅😂😂, then signposted me to the studio. He never mentioned what it was about to happen: I approached the studio, realized all carriages were taken and got told by the instructor: “Studio’s full, attend Front of House!”. Got to the FOH, a lady double checked the attendees list, made sure I was there, she then went to speak with the instructor and got told that someone else from the waiting list had got my place… I then dressed up again, put my shoes on and left as no other reformer sessions were available for the day. Not a great first time, wish I knew all this beforehand….☹️

the staff were really accommodating when i needed to make a last minute rebooking of my class when i wasn’t feeling well, which i really appreciated! i went for 90mins of kundalini open — the instructor was very experienced, the atmosphere was calming and safe and i felt recharged and at peace afterwards. the instructor was also really friendly and checked in on me before and after class, seeing that it was my first time at the studio. highly recommended!

Had a great pilates level 1-2 class with Christine! She is a really thoughtful teacher and adapted exercises to suit the needs of the people in the class. The building is huge and they have all sorts of classes and other offerings available!

Started with the £49 for 7 days package and transitioned to a monthly unlimited member. The staff was accommodating for my need with the membership. I went for a few reformer classes with Jingi and she was really encouraging. I also love the peaceful style with Yasmin.

I am not sure why it took me so long to check out Triyoga despite living in London for most of my life. This is the best yoga studio I have ever been to worldwide. Every single teacher is passionate, intentional and has their own unique style. I have tried a few classes and come out feeling renewed, strong and more connected to myself. I have been converted to the Triyoga gang. Thank you very much for creating such a wonderful space. I will definitely be back to try out many more classes.

Lovely yoga studio, beautiful space, charming reception staff. I had two great yoga teachers when I visited- Emma Peal and another guy whose name I forget, American guy who taught flow yoga. Both teachers were amazing and very high quality. Waaaay too many mediocre yoga teachers but Triyoga seems to only hire the best. Love the infra red sauna also, my only recommendation would be for the cafe to offer more variety and stay open a bit later but what they do serve is delicious!

Definitely not the studio it once was. I was a member here for nearly four years but have sadly parted ways. I was knocked of a bike and couldn’t practice and the studio refused to pause my membership. I tried to practice because I was being charged and it aggregates my injury even further. There was a 4 week wait for a Drs appointment which they insisted on. After cancelling my membership, they charged me again. It’s just not good enough.

The booking is easy as the schedules are available on the website. The instructor is very nice and patient. Also love the facility! (really clean and has a nice setting - pilates class room has a sky view ceiling which provides a relaxing view)

Really good quality of teachers making the classes enjoyable. Am actually often impressed by Triyoga’s ability to select the teachers, enabling to try a variety of classes and types of yoga. Welcome and calming environment from the moment you step inside Triyoga. An oasis in London to look after oneself.

triyoga suited me in terms of class times and location, but the experiences I had there while located in London for a few months were decidedly 'ok'. The studio itself is large and airy, well kitted out, and clean, and staff were always friendly. However the classes were challenging with little direction or adjustment from the teachers, despite the fact I was going to open classes designed to be appropriate for absolute beginners and I have been practicing Hatha and Vinyasa consistently for over a year. Teachers would simply say 'and go through vinyasa' and expect everyone in the class to understand what this means. No alternatives to challenging poses were given, meaning often I (and I observed others in the class) could simply not join in because of a lack of flexibility/strength or simply the way our bodies are built. The one class I enjoyed here was unfortunately a cover teacher, which was also disrupted by a neighbouring lesson in which the teacher seemed to be practically shouting instructions - not well planned next to a yin class. Frankly I'd expect a bit more for what are quite expensive classes.

I ve tried only the sauna. Quite nice and clean. Not very hot (40 to 50 Celsius) You need to wear t-shirt, shorts and bring your own towel. They have lockers, showers with shampoo and gel shower provided.

Attended two classes. The reception was friendly, introducing the locations of classrooms and the changing room in a nice way. Studio 4 and Aki’s class were fantastic, and I definitely will go to her classes again. The three stars are given bc of this teacher, the clean classroom and the reception. However, when attending Yoga level 1, the smell of studio 2 was unpleasant (like smelling somebody’s feet); the Yoga level 1 was kinda of like “tho I know you can’t get my meaning, I can’t help you more than that, and I won’t explain the posture in more detail”. I learned literally nothing about how to breathe, how to do posture, etc. This class made me feel that Triyoga is not the right place for complete beginners. Perhaps the class is for people to feel the vibe of yoga and provides nothing more than that. I felt I just wasted my money and I could have watched free yoga videos online to have better experience. That being said, there might be a lot of level 1 classes teaching by different teachers, so my review is just FYI.

Last spring I signed up for two weeks of courses. Unbeknownst to me, they put me on automatic debit for £170 a month. I’ve been trying to cancel for several months to no avail. I never used the studio. Finally had to cancel the cc.

I really didn't want to have to write a bad review but after 4 months of being ignored by front desk staff, I have no other choice. I love this studio, classes are fantastic and I'll probably keep coming back occasionally but will try to choose other studios whenever possible. This is all due to a situation I had when I booked my first Reformer class via ClassPass. The class was labelled as beginner-friendly, however, at the start of the class we were told by the instructor that the level was Intermediate. My partner and I had never done Reformer before and were not able to participate properly. After the class, I have emailed the studio and waited for several weeks - no response. I've then called the studio and was advised to email a specific person - I've done that and received a response in which I was advised to go to a beginners class (not helpful at all). When I replied that I was expecting a compensation, I haven't received another response. After two months, when I was back at the studio, I spoke to the Manager who gave me his email address and promised he would help me book a beginner's class for free, as a compensation for the mislabelled class. I have emailed the Manager using the email address he provided and, surprise, never got a response. I have attempted to speak to reception one last time before Christmas - and that's when I encountered a very rude receptionist who refused to listen to me and amongst other things she said, she also blamed me for booking through ClassPass as if it was my fault. There was another receptionist present at that time and I could see how uncomfortable they were getting listening to their rude colleague who, when I was trying to read the name tag on her T-shirt, drammatically took it off, threw it on the table and left. I was then helped by her male colleague who emailed me and my partner with further instructions on how to book the free class, but, when we replied to that email, surprise surprise, we never got a response back. So all in all, lovely studio but if you go there, pray that you don't encounter any issues because you won't be helped and will be treated like a number and not a human being. Very sad for a space that is supposed to be a happy place - I've never had so much stress with any other yoga studio!
