Mr Whistle blower Experienced first hand this place, the lack of experienced nurses on the ward. High profile patients who are not ready for step down being given too much freedom. Google the amount of escapes. It’s absurd to think these places actually still exist. The Care of severally mentally ill patients on the induction ward is beyond belief, Solution is long term seclusion with heavy sedative drugs. Whilst i work there was a drug epidemic “spice” and patients regularly smoked it till comatised states. Staff nonetheless bothered overworked understaffed so I agree it’s hard to control this. Foreign nurses without proper medical experience in given medication is rife here. I witnessed charge nurses teaching nurses simple doses you’d expect them to understand. There’s also the broadmoor patients who are serious sex offenders accessing the internet via there mobile phones which is also prohibited. The place is so close to schools hospitals etc and some of the high profile patients have escaped numerous times. It’s a waiting time bomb this place houses some severally mentally ill patients who are not getting treatment they deserve simply being held enclosed. The cleanliness of the wards is below any hospital standard wards constantly smelt of urine the carpet is beyond belief some unwell patients rooms were a utter disgrace to the catchment area who choose to fund these places also the NHS!!!!! Patients left strewn miles away from family used as pawns. Beds are full is there main priority, the wards are basically corridors with bedrooms either side. Patients wake up sometimes and practically spend all day sitting around,Food is very Basic you can tell by the ratio of overweight patients. Cqc report was a fix they new of an inspection made the place looked glimming Ino I worked here. This place seriously needs to be shut down before a serious incident occurs. I have a mentally ill relative currently residing at The North London Clinic who is currently being mistreated. He has been punched and kicked by member's of staff. He is locked in his room for six hours a day, the daily activities never happen, they use every means of excuses so that you can not communicate with patients. The Payphone is alway's broken! My relative has no means of benefits, dental treatment or advocacy. We are not told anything and when we are it lies and your given the wrong dates for managers meetings or important dates. Once you are in there, it's impossible to get out because most people that are in there are over medicated, provoked and for some reason kept in there! There is never any care plan to improve a patients well being and also a care plan to get out of there, Beware at mental Health Tribunals as often incidents that have not even happened are brought up to make you look like a dangerous person. Doctor Dina Karan a consultant there will do tests on you and falsify the results, to keep you there. She will not be happy that you are a section 3 for treatment ...she will try and get a section 41 restriction order on you to keep you under the hospitals care. BEWARE OF THIS PLACE-----IT's NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET. Oh and not to mention days in seclusion for nothing, and failure to check.

Extremely unhappy, shocked and infuriated as to how they treated my best friend at this 'hospital'. - CQC ought to come and inspect thoroughly.

Honestly good and bad I was sectioned and taken from Manchester to here. First off all although the hospital is failing in a lot of ways they really do have some brilliant staff who always make u feel safe and looked after management on the other hand is terrible they will sit and ignore you and they don't know whats what on the ward food is terrible kiddie portions and same food day in day out they also need more staff as bank staff was being relied on way too much 5 staff to 12 patients on a ward where some patients are on 1:1 or 2:1 and if u need a staff member for something u simply can't find one t

Doctors at the top prioritize filling beds over patient experience, Safety and wellbeing. An absolute shambles of a place.

Unbelievable rude people working there, no no no… rude is light near them …. Do not go this hospital, get die at home yourself, it’s better…

The service is very good and the staff very respectful. I thank all the team for the support and care! Excellent team!
