Cafe Coffee shop

😠 Due to being on a trip, I had to grab a bacon sandwich and a cake to eat on the train. But unbelievably, I saw live worms inside the bacon sandwich. Never try it for your own health. People often mention coffee,

When you pay 4£ for a coffee you expect that coffee to be worth. I asked for a cappuccino and I recieve a latte, clearly the staff are not trained and the cups are so poor quality.

Desperate for a coffee after a rough night with my newborn… had to dump it immediately because the lid was so poorly fitted that it spilled everywhere. Was pricey too. Staff was friendly. Definitely wouldn’t buy again.

There was no signage that I could see about prices of soft drinks and I asked the lady for a water expecting it to be maybe £2 max considering the area so I tapped and was charged £3.60 . £3.60 is a RIDICULOUS price for a bottle of Evian water I then asked the girl “did your charge correctly it says £3.60” she said “urm I don’t make the prices I just work here” so I asked for a refund as £3.60 is too much for water and she said “no i don’t know, I cannot give you a refund” but could clearly see the bottle was unopened as I had purchased 10 seconds ago and didn’t even move from the kiosk. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS. Staff need to be shown how to process refunds for these types of incidents!! * I understand that it’s a small business but atleast be reasonable, £3.60 for a bottle of Evian water is not reasonable at all

Went there on a Sunday morning as I had to catch a train. The girl working there was having a phone call on loud speaker while "attending" the customers, which immediately rang a bell as I had never seen such poor working etiquette before. I ordered two double espressos, paid and left (the girl was too busy with her call to say either thank you or goodbye) and once the lids came off (as they had not been put on properly) I found out that each cup contained about two fingers of watery shots, not espressos, and a bit of coffee grounds in them. As a fellow barista I can guarantee those weren't espressos but literally just a bit of dirty water for 5 pounds. I explained the barista I wasn't happy with that and asked for a refund, she said she couldn't do refunds (weird) but was okay with making the coffees again. The second attempt was alright (hence why I didn't score 1 star) however the barista was clearly complaining to her friend about me during the process (she thought I couldn't understand her language). Although cleverly located at the doors of Clapham Junction Station I would strongly advise anyone to avoid this shop, save yourself time and money and grab your coffee from any of the other dozen of coffee shops from the area instead.

Coffee tastes good but takeaway cups are very unreliable. Had this problem a couple of times now..the cup disintegrates very quickly and disaster ensues. Plus is crazy expensive

Unfortunately I didn’t have many options to grab coffee and a snack before jumping on a train at 7:45am on a Saturday morning. The coffee is quite good and they seem to have fixed the issues mentioned below with regard to cups and lids, however, the pain au chocolat was terrible! The pastries look very enticing, however, they are not freshly baked and it was like chewing paper. In addition, it was incredibly expensive; £14.55 for a flat white, pain au chocolat and a small beef sausage roll!
