All agreed this was the best full English we've had - high praise!!! Fantastic brunch, great coffee, even got some sunshine.... I can't wait to visit again.

Visited for Sunday Lunch and it was lovely! We’ve been in London for just over 18months and yet to find a decent Sunday lunch, however, lunch at Brew & Barrel was very very good and value for money. Service, food, drinks, atmosphere and decor all really lovely. Would recommend and pay another visit! Only improvement could be for the food to be a bit hotter. We did book a table, but there was also space for walk-ins too.

Nice cosy cafe with good, friendly service. Food and coffee arrived quickly, the staff were also happy to accommodate moving our reservation indoors on a cold day which was much appreciated. Found the food a little bit sub-par, with undercooked eggs and overcooked hash browns. However it was mostly pretty tasty and a nice brunch spot.

Wonderful bar in the heart of Clapham Old town, great atmosphere, amazing live music and friendly staff. Just met the owner Chris who came up, introduced himself and took a great photo of our group. Highly recommend this fabulous cocktail bar.

Felt a bit rushed to finish up our meal. They're quite busy, maybe that's why. My salmon meal, one of the toast was a bit burnt so couldn't really cut through it and needed to pick it up to eat it. Had better brunch food so it was okay.

We were looking forward to having brunch at this independent newbie. Sad to say the place is crammed (tight squeeze to sit ant the table, and very tight to walk). Vegan brunch was tasteless. Staff were pleasant, but the owner constantly reminding us to vacate the table at 12 became annoying (especially as we had to remind them 2 times to take our order). The saving grace was the dirty chai and coffee - lovely

My recent visit here left much to be desired in terms of service. The waitress seemed disinterested and failed to acknowledge our presence. Instead, she diverted her attention to a passing relative before we could even finish placing our order. She cut us off and we found it incredibly rude. Upon complaining, the manager was apologetic and genuinely which we found very professional. However, the same waitress continued to give us subtle digs throughout our stay. This persistent negativity greatly marred what could have been a pleasant dining experience. The food was nice but if you don't have pleasant staff then it does effect your business. While the manager's response was appreciated, the ongoing unprofessional behavior from the waitress raises concerns about the cafe's overall service standards. I hope this feedback prompts improvements in staff training and customer service. It seems a shame since the manager handled it gracefully but she has waitresses that are inexperienced bringing down the business.
