Great coach, really enjoyed working with him. He broke down all the problems with how I was swimming, got me practicing individual changes then built it all back up to a much better stroke. I wanted coaching as while I've been swimming all my life, I've never quite got the hang of 'proper' swimming with the right breathing technique - so swimming always felt like a bit of a fight. I wanted to get to a sustainable easy stroke - and Paul achieved that with just a small set of half-hour lessons.

Theo is a fantastic teacher, I really enjoyed my lessons! He made the time in the pool varied and fun whilst really helping me improve my technique. He was very considered in his approach and it was clear it was carefully tailored to my requirements. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to people if all levels of ability. I am so glad I had to the sessions

Paul was an amazing teacher! I came as a beginner who could do breaststroke and wanted to learn front crawl. The instructions were so clear that i was able to learn it in 1 lesson. With 5 followup lessons, now I feel very comfortable with my front crawl and has improved a lot for my breaststroke (much faster and less effort). Highly recommend! The classes are always fun as well and the comments/feedback are point-on

Theo is not just a swimming instructor, but also a very good teacher! I have started swimming lesson in January as an adult that had no experience with water, I am a bit scared of water, and learning how to swim has been part of my NYE resolutions every year, so these past months I said let's try to do something. I found this school on Google, booked via email; I meet with Theo a couple of times of week, and I am really grateful for his patience, he went into the water with me at the beginning until I was confident enough to be alone. He gives me clear instructions, he adapts to my reactions, he tries to calm me and make me feel more confident every time I get a bit of panic. It took me a while to be able to glide, to kick and breath, I still have a long way to go, but when I tell my friends about my evolution, they can't believe it! I get frustrated and disappointed easily but I have never seen anything but patience, support and interest in helping me from Theo. He is always there explaining things, correcting me. I have made a lot of progress with him given my phobia tendencies, if I look back I am very happy! Theo is very supportive, always trying to point my little success of the class, encouraging me, giving me a lot of alternatives, but also challenges to make sure I evolve. He has become a role model in terms of teaching for me, and hope to be as good as him when I teach people new things, as not a lot of people are as good as him. I recommend Theo and this swimming school to everyone!

I am very appreciatative of my lessons with Paul. Having come in with helath complications I wasn't expecting much but Paul went above and beyond to ensure that I enjoyed myself, learned techniques and effectively provided feedback so I would improve. Administratively, was easy to schedule appointments. 💯 recommend them for anyone looking to learn how to swim and/or improve their techniques.

These 1 to 1 classes are such a quick and easy way to learn to enjoy the water, gain confidence and swim at your own pace. No pressure to do anything if you’re not feeling comfortable. My instructor Paul is patient, funny and understands that we all have different ways of feeling nervous but will make you feel quite empowered with your progress so you want to keep coming back to get better. The warm pool is great as you don’t feel the shock of cold water and want to jump out again and with no deep end if you feel nervous you still know you won’t drown as you just stand up. I would seriously recommend as you can be swimming in weeks.

I cannot speak too highly of Swimming Lessons London’s teaching techniques and teacher Theo in particular. I was past retirement age when I decided that I must overcome my long held fear of the water, and it was only a matter of a few lessons with Theo before I began to gain confidence. Theo was incredibly patient, helpful and encouraging and systematically worked on improving my capability, technique and stamina. It all goes to show that it’s never too late to start, no matter how old you are. Highly recommended for everyone.

My daughter has been training with Paul and I too had some adult lessons. Paul's consistency professionalism patience and focus is second to none. He has been so skilled in engaging my daughter in such a way that she's learnt so much.. Feels confident in the water and looks foward to her swimming lesson weekly. The pool is clean and very well maintained overall Paul is a fantastic teacher, his temperament skill and motivation will inspire any new learner. This is a very well valued swimming school.. After trying a few in the area prior i am so pleased we are settled here. Thank you

I booked 10 lessons with this swimming company. I had an overall pleasant experience learning how to swim with this group. From my initial contact with Paul in regards to getting information on what the swimming course contains, to how it was structured; Paul was very helpful and efficient in breaking down what I needed to know and booking lessons in a timely manner whenever I wanted to book a lesson. With the lessons separately, I was taught by Theo. Theo is very patient and understanding with what level of swimming I was at and where I needed to go. Theo would take the time to break down the different strokes in to different parts to focus on each aspect, before then putting everything back together to get a clearer understanding of how each stroke worked. I am quite happy with my experience as I can now swim to a fairly competent level and will still practice in the future to get better. I would recommend for beginners who want to learn how to swim to a fairly competent level or those who prefer not to be in a group class and want to progress quickly in swimming capabilities to a standard level.

Choosing to learn to swim at The Circle Spa was one of the best decisions I've made. Theo is an extremely patient coach who always encourages me and teaches me to improve step by step. I was not afraid of making mistakes- something really important for a complete beginner. I was scared of water and learning to swim was a HUGE step out of comfort zone for me, but after 5 lessons, I can confidently do breaststroke and front crawl!!! A big thank you to Theo- really appreciate your effort and support. I've also recommended my friends to choose the Circle Spa swimming lessons. :)
