MY LUGGAGE WAS STOLEN from inside my room!!! The manager, Moncho, was the most unfriendly and unprofessional person I've ever seen! A stranger entered the hostel, spoke to the reception, and then left with my things!! It's all recorded, and the report has been filed. Also, I found out it's not the first time this has happened. I went through a horrifying situation since, in addition to all my belongings, my passport was also stolen. I was stranded until I could get an emergency one. The manager didn't even want to accompany me to the police because he said he was tired. The hostel staff didn't take any responsibility, neither financially nor personally! In fact, the manager response was to block us once we left! They left us completely helpless!!! The treatment and lack of concern we experienced make me question if they are also involved in the theft. I do not recommend this place at all!!!!!

This is a wonderful little party hostel under new management. They were very welcoming and friendly to me. There is a luggage room that’s locked where you can store your things and small lockers in the rooms. They don’t lock but you can purchase one from the hostel or bring your own. They made us all a vegetarian family dinner for free! It’s a surprise as the hostel is already very affordable, and this is a very kind gesture from them. They do events every night, and the Wednesday I stayed was a jazz club. I didn’t attend but I’m Sure it was fun! The perks of this is that if you want to sleep like I did, the dorm will be pretty much empty by 9 or 10 PM. Beds are not the best but it works just fine. There are USB + normal plug outlets next to the bed. All around, it was a wonderful hostel in a good location, close to all the sites and Tate Modern by walk. Pretty much unbeatable price for London and very secure. Enjoyed my last night abroad for now here :) thanks guys!!

New management are awesome and friendly. They have done an amazing job. Stayed here a month ago and it was very antisocial , now it’s very social and welcoming , they’ve made the common area nicer with comfy seating and games to play. The are doing daily tours/ free vegetarian dinners/activities which makes it nice and easy to meet other travellers. Last time I was here the showers were lukewarm/cold but are now hot. They added a light and shelf next to the beds which is nice. Good size kitchen. Only downfall is no laundry but there is a laundromat a couple hundred meters down the road. Would recommend, it’s a nice cheap and cheerful hostel.

Absolutely would recommend you to stay here!!! From the moment I checked in, I was greeted and welcomed like family, by the new manager Moncho!! Amazing person leading a great crew at Waterloo. Every single person working at Onefam Waterloo was super friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. The hostel was clean, well maintained, secure, and always supervised. The atmosphere created every day was amazing, and I am delighted to have experienced and been part of it. Onefam Waterloo is in great hands under the new management, and I wish them much success, so I can go back 😁!! Thank you Onefam Waterloo for the great memories and experience!!!

New management from OneFam and what an amazing experience. Everything from the cleanliness (daily cleaning) , the friendly staff and the amazing atmosphere were perfect !!! You genuinely feel at home here and it’s a very unique community vibe you won’t feel at any other hostel. They have turned this place around completely. Highly, highly recommend!!

I traveled to london with my friends and we stayed at OneFam Waterloo. I tell you it was SUCH AN AMAZING surprise the familiar environment stuff create in that hostel. Everyone is so friendly and open, and they organize activities for the people staying there so that solo travelers have the opportunity to meet other people: dinners, night games and plans to go out, collective tourism… Even though I traveled with friends already, it was super sweet to meet all those kind people and be sorrounded by such great vibes. Highly highly HIGHLY recommend this hostel!!! It made our trip to London even more special unexpectedly. Also the beds were comfortable, bathrooms and common areas very okay as well.

i had an amazing stay at onefam waterloo!! :) the night outs were so fun and I met many great ppl! The staff was also so welcoming and nice! Dani was super helpful and also so fun to chat and hang out with! Nick‘s Partyshift was great and we went to an amazing techno club all together! But also all the other staffmembers were so nice!: Mónica, Moncho, Sunny, Ryan, Chris, Lincoln,Jo…and everyone else!! The bed- and bathrooms were also very clean! To get into your room you had to enter a pincode and you also had lockers in your room, what made you feel very safe! The free family dinner everyday was also yummy and a great way to bond with ppl, especially when you‘re travelling alone! All in all, i can highly recommend staying in this hostel!! ;)

I had a great time at this hostel, the staff were so nice they really worry about you and make you feel very comfortable. It's safe and in a great location very close to the city center. They also make every night vegetarian dinner for us and it's super appreciated. I would recommend it and would love to stay there again.

Onefam Waterloo was the last stop of mine on my three month long backpacking trip and I wouldn't want it any other way. Pros: - Staff was friendly and welcoming. I wish I had more time with everyone staying there! It truly did feel like a family. - Free dinners - Once you sign up for dinner, everyone eats together and the food is great - made by the staff themselves. - Planned outings + activities - Every day, there is a planned tour if you hope to go. At night, there are planned drinking activities and bars/pubs/clubs if you choose to partake. A super easy and fun way to meet people. - Decent beds - Not the best bed, not the worst bed. I slept well! Don’t let the three level bunk beds scare you. Although, if you’re on the bottom bunk like me, you can’t sit up 100% or you’ll hit your head LOL Cons: - Small lockers - Can’t sit up straight if you’re on the bottom or middle bunk (still worth it to stay here though) - Minimal bathrooms on each level - Although there is usually one open. You just might need to walk downstairs I HIGHLY recommend staying here. Onefam is my favorite chain of hostels and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. If I had the means to, I would totally look into volunteering here because it was that great. <3

i stayed here for 3 nights and had the best time! the staff are absolutely lovely and everyone is so sweet and inviting. the little dinners were wholesome, and the fact that they organised daytime activities as well as a nighttime pub / bar night was incredible. everyone was respectful and as quiet as expected at night. onefam waterloo is a really social and fun party hostel, i would recommend it to anyone!

I had a fun and positive experience at Onefam Waterloo. The rooms, while typical for a hostel, were not at all expensive, in fine condition and notably clean, thanks to the dedicated efforts of the cleaning staff, especially Claudia. My spot in the 12-bed dorm had slightly short triple bunks, but that’s par for the course in hostels. What truly sets this place apart is the fantastic atmosphere. Guests were respectful and well-behaved in the rooms, creating a comfortable environment, while the common areas buzzed with fun and sociability. Contrary to the rough reputation some London hostels carry, this place is a real treat. Its well-lit spaces, one-week stay limit, and the presence of cheerful, fun-loving staff like Jo, Derek, Monica, Oana, Brandon, Ryan, and the rest make it exceptional. Making friends is a breeze, and the free nightly vegetarian dinner adds a delightful touch to the overall experience. I highly recommend this hostel for a memorable and enjoyable stay!
