I
do
not
think
that
the
shopkeeper
in
this
corner
shop
is
interested
in
his
shop
being
a
parcel
drop
off
point.
I
had
booked
and
paid
a
9kg
parcel
for
delivery,
which
had
been
accepted
on
the
parcel
booking
system
I
used,
but
the
shopkeeper
told
me,
and
kept
insisting
to
me
that
the
driver
wouldn't
accept
and
pick
up
my
parcel,
because
it
was
over
5kg
in
weight.
This
was
my
first
time
in
this
corner
shop,
and
I
was
bemused
by
this
turn
of
events,
but
nevertheless,
I
insisted
on
leaving
the
parcel
in
the
shop
for
collection,
as
everything
was
legitimate
about
my
parcel.
I
wasn't
about
to
lug
the
parcel
out
of
the
shop,
when
there
was
nothing
wrong
with
it.
He
reluctantly
processed
the
parcel
and
took
it
in
with
a
bit
of
a
huff,
lifting
up
the
parcel
from
the
counter
and
putting
it
down
with
a
bit
of
a
drop
that
created
a
thud.
He
then
told
me
that
it
would
not
be
his
problem
if
the
parcel
was
left
uncollected
by
the
driver.
In
any
case,
the
parcel
got
collected,
as
it
was
delivered
within
the
next
day
delivery
slot
that
I
paid
for,
but
I
am
still
bemused
by
the
shopkeeper's
attitude
and
behaviour
that
I
experienced
that
day
on
7th
April
2021.
The
upshot
is
that
I
may
not
be
using
this
parcel
drop
off
point
in
the
future.
Not
with
the
petulant
behaviour
that
was
shown
to
me
by
the
shopkeeper
on
this
occasion.
I
had
planned
to
buy
a
few
items
from
the
shop
after
dropping
the
parcel,
but
I
he
did
put
me
off
with
his
behaviour,
and
so
I
left
without
making
any
purchase
in
the
shop.
I
entreat
anyone
reading
this
post
not
to
get
intimidated
by
the
shopkeeper,
if
he
shows
similar
behaviour
towards
them
in
future,
as
long
as
everything
is
correct
with
their
parcel.
