Stunning range of imported Indian decorative artefacts. Also love their furniture and sculptures - came away with a set of camphor wood drawers and brass ornaments. Will visit again!

What an Amazing shop full of wonderful treasures. In discussion with the owner it was evident that she has a passionate interest and understanding of the Indian culture. The vast array of beautiful items are hand picked by proprietor on her extensive travels through India which she undertaken for over 20 years. From some casual browsing I end up buying two magnificent wooden horses heads in a fabulous shade of blue which now adorn my fireplace. I highly recommend this unique establishment.

Probably the most beautiful shop along the entire King’s Road and staffed by the most delightful people too. We relish our annual visit when visiting London from New York.

We stumbled upon this beautiful shop, it’s like walking into a magical treasure trove! The jewellery is beautiful, I bought a lovely pair of drop green onyx earrings but could have easily bought a lot more it’s all so well made and stunning. The staff are super helpful, thank you Sophie for your help today, I love my earrings! 💕

I really wanted to love opium jewellery and as much as I love all the pieces, the quality of my pieces for the price I paid is really disappointing. I bought three items totalling £300 in May 2023. The first item broke in June 2023, less than a month after buying (see first image). I was quite shocked when it snapped since it hadn’t been a long time since I bought it and I was going about my daily activities when it broke - so nothing that could have caused the break. The second item is a lovely ring, which was originally gold plated. The gold plating wore off within a week and in August 2023, the stone fell out of the case. The third item is a necklace that hasn’t broken (yet!!!!) but is losing its gold plating. Very upsetting as this was the most expensive piece I bought from Opium. I know gold plating does wear off over time, but I was really disappointed that it started/came off almost immediately. As I say, really lovely bits of jewellery but if you want lasting pieces that don’t break, I would maybe suggest looking elsewhere.

Have loved this shop for many years - but purchased more from Opium Kings Road in the past 12 months than before. Every item is absolutely unique and simply stunning. Just a treasure trove of beautiful indian antiques. The staff are absolutely wonderful and accommodating, and always very helpful. Thanks Fleur-India x

I have just hung my beautiful Chik blinds from Opium in my bathroom in the aquamarine colourway. I am thrilled with how they look, love the colour! Perfect in this sunny weather, with a diffused light shining into the room. So relaxing... heavenly ! :)

A beautifully and carefully collated fashionable treasure trove on the Kings Road. Absolutely not to be missed! Incredible jewellery, antiques, homeware and comfy stylish garments. Shops like this are what make London fabulous ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
