A terrible experience trying to return some headphones (6 days after purchasing) due to a fault. Store manager, Mariam refused to take these back (presumably due to store return targets) and insisted I took them to another store. Eventually I managed to return them at a very helpful store elsewhere, and Argos gave me a gift voucher as an apology. The poor rating for this store on Google is not a surprise, given the rudeness I experienced from its staff, and the appalling customer service.

It's great if you buy online and pick up from here, really fast service. If you buy something in store though it's achingly slow. Plan ahead!

I went to collect an order. While queuing I saw an assistant called Shaz who was helping an elderly gentleman who was buying a radio. He was so patient and even though the man asked him several times how to switch the radio on and off Shaz just showed him . Shaz even gestured to me that he was sorry for keeping me waiting but I didn't mind at all when I could see that he was being so kind. It's people like him will make me go back to this store. I hope his manager sees this as he deserves to be recognised outstanding customer service.

You go into the store to buy something in the store. The computers in the store to check stock in the store have no way to filter for whats in stock in that store. what a total waste of time. just close it and have a website?

Store clerks were too busy messing with each other to help a customer and had to ask if they’d finally help me when standing right in front of them instead of yelling at their friend.

My purchase was a new mobile and as I am elderly I asked the assistant if he could help me with the basics to get it started which he very kindly did without hesitation. Thank you Shaz your a valuable asset to Argos.
