    I have asked Rob to get me back to shape following a major abdominal surgery a couple of months ago. From the beginning I was impressed with his meticulous health survey and organisation. We met for the introductory secession and Rob asked thorough questions to assess my physical condition. He then designed a program for me which allows my body to gain strength again, working with my limitations around the core muscles. Rob always checks for a feedback, is a a great listener, and has a very supportive but motivating approach. I am already noticing results. Feeling stronger, more confident and looking forward to taking my body to the best shape of my life. Thanks Rob!

    Rob has been an excellent trainer to get complete beginners into shape for boxing training. He is very understanding of various physical areas that need improving, e.g. the core, and the two of us are much stronger since we’ve started. Our technique has come along as well and we feel more confident that we have some self defence skills in the back pocket, should the need ever arise. We would recommend Rob highly as a friendly, supportive trainer for one on one or two on one sessions. Renu and Monica

    I’ve been training with Rob for over two years now and have seen a big improvement in my fitness levels. Training with Rob is always enjoyable and he has a relaxed style that suits me. I’ve particularly enjoyed the boxing sessions which we do on alternate sessions as they are a great way to keep fit and also to learn about some of the strategies in self defence.

    Really enjoyed my fitness session one to one with Rob. He introduced me to exercises that I could also do at home. He adapted everything to my individual ability. The venue at Richmond Olympus Gym works well for me as it has a nice relaxed atmosphere. As someone over 50 years old this is the best way forward for achieving a good all round fitness level.

    Rob has managed to find a number of exercises that can work with my limitations- abdominal problems and arthritis- and has worked with me to find my limits and focus on what I can do rather than can’t. Excellent progress, my fitness level has improved enormously, when I doubted it could be done. Great job, Rob!

    Rob is an exceptional personal trainer. He does not come from the school of "no pain no gain" but rather helps you achieve your goals through encouragement and education. He also favours routines that dont rely on esoteric machinery you can only find in a gym which allows you to keep up your training anywhere. As an added bonus he is also a delightful person to spend time with.

    So glad to have found Rob for my self defence classes! It was everything I was looking for- personal, one to one classes, simple yet effective techniques, fitness building, an excellent trainer who knows what they’re doing and teaches in such a way to make it easy to understand. Rob combines boxing with self defence techniques, something completely new to me and I absolutely love it! I definitely come away feeling like I’ve done a decent workout and I’ve been told by a friend that I look more toned too. (I’m currently doing a 10 lesson course).
