Bury Lodge Wetlands

Park

👍 Nice little wetland though some fly tipping the other side of the brook by the houses which could be cleared up. Lots of different birds to see.

Enfield Council have done a great job establishing Bury Lodge Wetlands. They have built a terrific cycle path which runs alongside Salmons Brook so you can cycle from Little Bury Street up to the A10. Once you cross the A10 you can continue along the cycle path into Lower Edmonton. This is a safe route compared to the Church Street route which is nearly always busy. The Wetlands is a very attractive area which has been planted with trees and a whole host of wild flowers. It attracts birdlife like Herons and Egrets which you can often see beside the lakes in the bullrushes. There's something new to see on each visit. One of Enfield's little gems Thanks to Enfield Council.

Beautiful park, lots of birds and different plants, and the best thing about is that it's close to other parks with playgrounds, so children go to the other places. Relatively quiet, except for the motorway

Quiet small area runs along salmons Brook from little bury Street to the (a10 ) Cambridge Road idea to walk your dog or jog you can walk circular route incorporating Bury Lodge Park and wetlands without crossing a road I would say its distance of a mile back to your starting point.
