We had a stay over the weekend with a relaxing approach in mind. On Saturday when we arrived we were promptly checked in by a nice lady which was a trainee. However, whilst the stay started on a positive note, we were soon to be disappointed. The room was clean, but when I opened the mini-fridge, there were empty water bottles laying around and some crumbles. I tried to make a coffee with the machine that is in the room, but this was not working. After we joined the SPA, we returned to our room to order Room Service. The food was ok but we had also ordered a pizza which looked disgusting. From a 5 star hotel with a reputable name, you would expect a pizza which looks and has the texture better than a chicken shop one that someone would have after a night out. We spoke to the team and they were perceptive to our concern and have kindly removed it from our bill. On Sunday, when we checked out, we were disappointed by the lack of customer skills that the receptionist was having. He did not seem to be in the mood to be dealing with us and it was a constraint for him to even talk. There was a misunderstanding on our room balance as we had had drinks at the bar the night before, for which we had been presented with a bill then and I had paid for it. I showed him the receipt and he was very hesitant to believe that the receipt was even real. I had asked him to tell me the balance on the room but he kept talking about how I have to pay the bill for the bar. He had a know it all attitude, which aggravated the situation for me personally. First of all, as a 5 star hotel, your employees should be at a certain standard regarding their level of training. Secondly, as a business, you should care about your customers both when they check in and when they check out. It felt that the team did not really care about our stay but rather about getting the money. I have specifically asked the guy at the reception if we can go and have a coffee in the bar upstairs to which he has said yes and told us to take the elevator. When we got there, we had asked another member of staff if we can go in and he has told us that the bar and the restaurant were closed at the time. This only infuriated us, as the receptionist should have know that the bar was closed? Overall, it was not a pleasant stay and I would not recommend it. The hotel has nice rooms and facilities but it is rather materialistic than customer focused.

Had a wonderful relaxing time at this wonderful hotel. The room was comfortable , warm, and welcoming. The only thing I will remember to do if I stay again is ask for a firmer pillow way too soft for me, but that is personal choice . The staff were all very pleasant and helpful. Definitely make the effort to go for morning breakfast . It was amazing and the choice of food was incredible. The location was ideal for us for a concert at the o2. It felt safe and secure . Recommend using Uber boats if you want to go to the London Eye or anywhere along the Thames. So convenient and a good price.

Great location and nice hotel right next door to the O2. The rooms are well proportioned with a comfy bed. The reception and bar staff are very attentive and always happy to help. I had an amazing view out over the O2 arena, but all directions have something to see. More expensive than most hotels I stay in, but worth it!

Absolutely stunning hotel, from the second we arrived to sadly leaving, I couldn’t fault anything. Tye staff were exceptional, friendly, polite and helpful. The room was beautiful and clean with stunning views. The bathroom was fantastic with luxurious toiletries to hand. Breakfast, though busy, was also exceptional with everything you could imagine available for breakfast. The lounge and bar had amazing views over the Thames and Canary Wharf and the cocktails were perfect. With direct access to the O2, it’s the perfect base for a concert. I can’t wait to return.

Loved the location, breakfast & the fireworks!. The rooms were good and quiet. They looked clean, though not perfectly clean, you could see some dust on tables and furniture. Views from the bedroom were amazing. Beds were the best, very comfy, bedsheets looked clean in my room, same as pillows. The standard room is big enough for 2 people, the toilet is nice with 1 shower and 1 bath. The staff was nice and friendly in general. We also enjoyed the swimming pool, it was big and well maintained. We will come back next year for sure!.

Excellent hotel. Didn't disappoint. Pool, spa and wellness centres where all clean and brilliant. Steam room and sauna were a nice touch. Rooms fantastic, lounges and bars had great view over Canary Wharf and The Thames, clipper boats a few minute walk away from the location, perfect all round hotel for business or a getaway with friends or family.

As soon as we arrived we were Greeted and shown where to go to check in. Checking in was easy and quick, the lifts and stairs were near by. On entering our room it certainly was a wow factor as the room was overlooking the Thames. The room was spotless. We had a great night's sleep, no complaints there. We were staying here as we were seeing Michael Buble' in the evening. They have a direct connection with the 02 arena, so we walked very easily into the 02. After the concert we easily went back to our room to enjoy the night lights of London.

I have never experienced such a disappointing service since I joined IHG Rewards since 2008. This Hotel is beautiful, strategically located at The O2 and I indeed had great expectations but that disappeared from my first Night 🌙. 1. The Room Service is very frustrating, you can spend a minimum of 40mins trying to reach room service and had waited 2hrs for a call back from Room Service as promised by reception. 2. The Internet: Oh my God this will have you pulling your hair out, thank God am bald. I actually stayed 12hrs without access to the Internet 3. I had call the front desk multiple times before someone will eventually pick up. Honestly this Hotel ruined my planned grand entrance into the New Year, I had planned it as a treat for my Wife and 8yrs old daughter and they failed me miserably. I felt bamboozled as the service provided does not match the £270 a night this Hotel cost. Value for money was zero. Ironically there were exceptional 👏 👌 individual staff, who were ever so apologetic and went an extra mile in trying to make our stay bearable given the circumstances. One of the Assistant Managers had to call their IT person at home on how to resolve my Internet problem and the staff at checkout awarded me 3000 points for my horrible experience.

Very nice hotel and conference center. Lots of quality amenities, decent-sized rooms, clean, comfortable, and very good service. Staff was very attentive, including housekeeping and the restaurants. Our room included the breakfast buffet at the Marketplace Brassiere, which was very good. The entire staff at that restaurant, especially Jessica, were top notch and the highlight of our stay. Their other restaurants were good too. Pricing was a little on the higher end but it's expected given the top notch service and food quality. The location was convenient since it's next to the O2 and short walking distance to the tube and bus station.

We had a wonderful weekend stay. We arrived a little early but were still able to check-in. The clerk was friendly and check-in was quick. The hotel is beautifully decorated. Our room was clean and had a water view. The bed was comfortable. The location is great. Walking distance to the train station and the shops at O2. Great place to stay!

Fantastic location for show at the O2. It has its own a access corridor that takes you right into entrance H of the arena and the shopping. Staff were also excellent all of whom seemed well trained in customer service. There were dozens of examples where you could see the staff were genuinely happy which was nice to see. Loved the pool area as well. My only tiny gripe was the hot breakfast food could have been hotter as it was only like warm but it was of a good standard and still much enjoyed. Overall a fantastic hotel which I would thoroughly recommend.

Amazing location especially if your going to the o2... Hotel staff very friendly and professional.. Breakfast very good... Must give a mention to the breakfast door supervisor she ran her socks off and kept calm and collected under pressure. Room amazing and those views! Would give 5 star but room was dirty just little things but lots of them... So would I stay again.... Yes definitely

Truly excellent stay. The Hotel is beautiful, it has a quirky mix of traditional and contemporary. The room we had, was well maintained, very clean and crisp white linen. Coffee machine was easy to use and a lovely selection of herbal teas. The bathroom had a shower and bath, with beautiful toiletries and a gorgeous lemon verbena soap. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, each and every one were polite and professional. Breakfast was an additional £25, which was a delight. Quality choices, with something for everyone. The pool was was a little cold, so brace yourselves. Nice big fluffy towels and gown to keep you warm though. The tunnel to the O2 was closed, at no fault of the hotel, you can't account for severe weather. Certainly the walk back from the O2 would have been much easier, so I'm looking forward to that being fixed on our next visit.

Its tremendous experience at the River view from the hotels. The staff was very good, appreciable and well aware of guest need. Rooms were neat and clean. Superb room service. Sky bar is great for the food and drink. Location is excellent💯 out of your 100. All in one it was amazing experience at Inter continental hotel. The O2 is at walking distance.

I just wanted to sincerely thank the staff particularly Andrea at reception for the compassion and kindness they showed me during my short visit. Unfortunately, after being in my room for an hour or so I received bad news and therfore had to check out early to travel back to Glasgow. Andrea was so kind and understanding. Today I received an email explaining the hotel will not charge me for my nights booking. I could not believe the compassion. This hotel put me as a customer first before making money. The hotel itself was fabulous, the rooms the facilities and the location for the 02 arena, where I supposed to be going. Thank you so very much it means alot during this difficult time. Wishing all the staff a lovely Christmas ❤️❤️❤️

Absolute class! I’ve stayed here multiple times. The rooms are clean and super modern. The service is excellent and the bars in the hotel are perfect with wonderful food choices and unmatched views of the Thames. A little out of the way for the typical London sites, but a short trip by boat takes you to them.

This hotel is truly amazing. Every aspect of it exudes luxury, especially the food. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices that are sure to satisfy any palate. However, the only downside I can mention is that the check-in process is a bit slow and the queue can be quite long.

Beautiful hotel. Downsides are trying to get a cab as Blackwall Tunnel is so congested if your trying to get to the airport. Check-in was unnecessarily complex until Sasha intervened and sorted out the translation issue. Nice pool and gym and easy access to the 02. Breakfast buffet was very good.

I had a recent 3-night stay and it was absolutely flawless. As soon as I walked through the revolving door a members of staff came over to welcome me. Check-in was fast and efficient, and I was pleased to see the suite I booked had been upgraded to an even larger suite - around the same size as the entire ground floor of my house! There was also a bottle of red wine, some macarons and jelly sweets as a welcome gift. The staff were friendly and efficient throughout the stay, in that refined "keep an eye on you but not pestering you" way that the best hotels have. I had lounge access and it was nice and quiet - with breakfast and evening canapes served in there. Location wise, it's a 5 minute brisk walk to the Tube station, and that whisks you into central London in around 20 minutes. I really couldn't ask for more!

I had a wonderful stay. The front desk staff was impeccable and friendly one of the standouts was Renata her customer service was excellent. The room was amazing and I loved the amenities even the women working in the spa area was great. The food was good and definitely the buffet is great choice for newcomers to the country. My only critique would be the clipper bar, the managers specifically there seemed selective with their greetings and helpfulness. I couldn’t be sure if to them, I wasn’t wealthy enough in appearance to be greeted or maybe my complexion played a part.(I would truly hate to think so but observing there behavior throughout the night gave me room to consider.) all in all my experience was fantastic and I definitely recommend this beautiful hotel to everyone.

I have no issue with the hotel in terms of the room, service and and general stay. However, I was surprised to learn about a £100 security deposit at check-in, which wasn't in any small print upon booking. I only had £105 left in my account, so I had to borrow money from family members to get through the next 24 hours in London and to get home the next day. When I checked out, they said they'll release the full £100 and I'll receive it in 7-10 days. This also was a bit of a punch in the stomach to me as it leaves me in complete financial difficulty. It's been nearly 7 days since I stayed and I still haven't received the deposit back, so I called the hotel to query this and the girl I spoke to seemed to find it all quite funny as she was laughing when I was explaining the issue. She just told me to call my bank to get them to release the funds as it's "pending" and has been fully released by the hotel. So after this phone call, I called my bank and they basically told me there's nothing they can do because the funds are still with the hotel and they haven't released anything yet. I feel like I've completely lost this £100 which is a lot of money to me at the moment and I can't afford to eat until the end of the month. I would not recommend this hotel if you're tight on money because they'll try and take you for every penny you've got. :(

Nice modern hotel. Upscale feel to this reasonably priced hotel. Club lounge food and drink very good with a nice range of self pour spirits. Excellent spa - jacuzzi, nice sized pool, sauna, steam room and comfortable loungers. Very well equipped changing rooms with swim suit ringers and complimentary fruit infused water. Well equipped gym with complimentary water and fruit. Excellent restaurant (reviewed separately). Well equipped rooms - some with excellent river views. 8.5/10 would recommend

Fantastic food in the restaurant by the spa, we had the afternoon tea and the tea selection was out of this world. The cakes were beautifully made and tastes delicious too. Only issue was the parking - £22 for a few hours!!

It’s a bit awkward to get to as you have to walk through the O2 and signage isn’t that great. I was gifted a spa & afternoon tea voucher for my birthday. I attended with my sister, we were both looked after very well. The afternoon tea session was very nice and fantastic service by our waitress to ensured that we were happy with everything and nothing was too much. They gave me a birthday surprise treat of macaroons which was a lovely touch! Definitely will be coming back!

We had a great stay. Stunning view of the Docklands. The flavoured water in the lobby is a nice touch and so was the welcome gift for my daughter. Penny is a cuddly duck and visited all the sights with us! We also enjoyed the pool, sauna and steam room. 5-7 min walk to the underground station.

I took my mum for her birthday recently in November, I booked a Spa Package. The Spa facilities were peaceful and clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming. We also had a afternoon tea, the staff in the restaurant/bar were 10/10 they were super friendly and were always on hand to offer us the best service particularly a little Indian lady not sure of her name, she was extremely lovely, the staff even surprised my mum with a little birthday surprise which was 3 little macaroons with a little happy birthday signed on a plate which we did not expect. The staff at this hotel is exceptional. Would recommend going for the spa packages. All staff deserve a thank you.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with an excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. It's perfect if you're attending a show or shopping at the O2, since the hotel has a covered passage straight to the venue. Great public transportation links as well.

Recently stayed here for work and loved this hotel. We stayed in the apartment style rooms and it was great, really big room overlooking the river with everything you need if you did want to cook something. Breakfast was also amazing, lots of choice and very tasty. It was included with our booking but one of the best we’ve ever experienced. Staff were also super friendly and helpful.

This hotel is superb choice for a great stay in London. They have delightful views of Canary Wharf and the River Thames. All that you need is a quick taxi ride into Greenwich to enjoy the London experience with countless restaurants, pubs and shops. The staff is very hospitable. They even received us with a bottle of champagne and delectable macaroons. Afternoon tea at the 1st floor restaurant is A MUST. The full breakfast buffet is my personal suggestion… you will get your money’s worth. Five stars is not enough to rate the experience. The only downfall is that the jacuzzi wasn’t really hot, but despite the fact, our experience was lovely. Thank you, Intercontinental!

The hotel itself was incredible and the room was fantastic. The pillows were to die for. The location right next to The O2 is so convenient, not only for events there but also for the shops, restaurants and other entertainment. There’s just so much in there. Although the receptionist was very nice and attentive, I was a bit underwhelmed by the service in the hotel bars. My partner wasn’t made to feel welcome and was made to feel embarrassed so quickly left. I was also disappointed with the quality of room service - specifically the pizza. For a high end hotel I expected far better quality food. I would certainly stay here again, but would hope that we got luckier with the staff on shift if we were to visit the bars.

Before I start, I think this hotel is amazing. The service was lovely and the location was awesome (next door to The O2). However........2 things which I didn't enjoy. 1) the room/corridor doors banged every time they were shut. People were returning all night which meant the doors were banging all night. 2) the pillows were far too soft. They took up so much space but had nothing too them. It was like I was being smothered. Apart from that, absolutely amazing

We stayed in the hotel for a weekend. It was our first time in London and not the last! Our room was clean, and the view was so beautiful!!! We had a pleasure to meet Margaret. She is a supervisor who was so helpful and kind. She had impressive knowledge about this hotel. I highly recommend english breakfast. It was delivered fast and freshly made. High selection of tea which were incredibly rich taste. Best place to stay in London. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to have a great experience in London.

Stayed here midweek. - would recommend this as it’s quiet! Staff were super friendly. Decor was beautiful in the lobby. The spa was empty, pool area was clean! They have a steam room which was lovely. Ordered breakfast in bed and had a beautiful view of our city! Would definitely come back here again!

The environment is very welcoming, neat and clean. I could make here a permanent home if I could afford it. Staff are very friendly, tolerant and professional. The food and service are premium and great. Entertainment is basic no streaming service. There are no microwave or fridge in the suite that we stayed in. The mini bar was well-stocked and as usual over overpriced(yes, over over). It is situated in an excellent location with easy access to trains, buses and a mall. I highly recommend staying here when in London if you can afford to.

This is one of the best all around hotels I have ever stayed at. From the moment we stepped into the hotel we were seen to with a warm and friendly smile. They were so welcoming at all the various desks and services. The room was beautiful very clean and comfortable. Being a kosher consumer they took care at breakfast to make sure I had what to eat. Anytime we had a request they were there within 5-10 minutes and being a very large hotel that is very impressive. This hotel is adjacent to the O2 arena which has loads of shopping and activities. It’s a bit out of the downtown area as this is in canary wharf however I would stay here again in a heartbeat as the Tube is within 4 min walking distance. Two thumbs way up!!!

Stayed at this hotel as part of a work related conference. Everyone at the hotel is extremely polite. The rooms are spacious, really clean, well decorated and with a nice view. Bed and pillows super comfortable. The breakfast is fantastic with many different choices of warm and cold dishes and good variety. The bar at the top floor is also great with an amazing view and some really good cocktail choices. It is a bit far away from the city centre but it is London which is widespread. The tube is nearby and you can easily go downtown. Definitely recommending this hotel especially for work but definitely good for vacation as well due to what it offers.

Stayed her for an anniversary with my partner. We were both really pleased with this hotel. The staff were really friendly and helpful. They did something special for us for our anniversary in our room. We even called early in the morning and asked if we could check in early which they let us. The rooms were really nice, bed was comfy and big. The whole room was tidy and had a great view of the O2 too which was amazing! The drinks in the mini fridge were quite expensive too so didn’t use but was expected as was such a nice hotel. We went to use the pool which was fairly quiet so was nice. We also booked a couples massage which were amazing! Very good masseuses and knowledgeable. Quite expensive for a massage but was worth it. The woman kept checking on me and if it was an okay pressure as I never had one before. The breakfast the next morning was amazing too. Loads of different options to chose from and again very friendly staff. Would definitely be returning!

Great location right next to the O2 with a walkway straight to it. Went for a spa weekend with afternoon tea. Service was great and staff were all very helpful. Rooms had a musky, not exactly pleasant smell as you walked into them but this would quickly go away. Otherwise rooms were very comfortable. Breakfast buffet was great.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking a resort. This site will compare countless booking websites and typically will have rates much cheaper compared to others! You're welcome :)! This resort is one of the best in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you for sure won't be let down. Great location and nice hotel right next door to the O2. The rooms are well proportioned with a comfy bed. The reception and bar staff are very attentive and always happy to help. I had an amazing view out over the O2 arena, but all directions have something to see. More expensive than most hotels I stay in, but worth it!

Prior to arriving we were told several times before arriving that the pool would be open until 9pm so we scheduled our day around this, only to find when we got there it was closed and were informed it was 'miscommunication' which is very unprofessional especially since we asked several times, we was offered late checkout to go to the spa the next day but we had to change our plans to be able to use the spa facilities we especially came for. As soon as we arrived, our room was unbearably hot(staff suggested us to go for a walk outside to help with this which we did many times as we was sweating in the room - something we shouldn't have to do), the fruit aminimities shrivelled and the water bottles in our room was warm to touch. It was intolerable to even sit in. Maintenance came and 'fixed it' but it did absolutely nothing. He came again, still baking hot, upon the third time we went to reception and spoke to (I believe it was) Emanual , we were treated with such disrespect to a more than reasonable issue with our room, he said maintenance had said he fixed it and he would just give us a fan, I politely stated that a fan would only circulate hot air in which he replied 'No it won't, you can go now thank you" completely shutting down the conversation, this is an unacceptable way to be spoken to paying guests. Maintenance did come (after we called many times as they didn't come after a long time and we couldn't just sit in the room all night and wait) and resolved the issue in the end after configuring something on his computer. Lastly the room itself was not up to a 5* hotel standard, see below photos of the state of our beds. There were stains(after the bedding was changed once already by housekeeping who then suggested it was us who made the stain as 'it wasn't there before'), food, 'bodily hair' and the pillow smelled awful which was very disgusting to lay on. We felt very uncomfortable knowing that housekeeping provided this standard of 'clean'. The bedding also had rips in it, coffee machine with dust on, elevators smelt like someone had smoked in it as well as food found on the floor. Also would like to add when contacting the hotel about the issues they said "I am disappointed to read that our efforts to make it right for you did not meet your expectations. Should we have known that your stay did not meet your expectations while you were still at the hotel, we would have taken the necessary steps to ensure the shortfalls are rectified and that you would have a memorable time with us. As you only voiced your dissatisfaction 3 days after you had already left the hotel, I am afraid that asking for a full refund is not a reasonable request" which doesn't make sense as we spoke to staff many times! A random woman in reception told us she'd complained about her room too and switched rooms but all we was offered was a fan.
