We
had
a
stay
over
the
weekend
with
a
relaxing
approach
in
mind.
On
Saturday
when
we
arrived
we
were
promptly
checked
in
by
a
nice
lady
which
was
a
trainee.
However,
whilst
the
stay
started
on
a
positive
note,
we
were
soon
to
be
disappointed.
The
room
was
clean,
but
when
I
opened
the
mini-fridge,
there
were
empty
water
bottles
laying
around
and
some
crumbles.
I
tried
to
make
a
coffee
with
the
machine
that
is
in
the
room,
but
this
was
not
working.
After
we
joined
the
SPA,
we
returned
to
our
room
to
order
Room
Service.
The
food
was
ok
but
we
had
also
ordered
a
pizza
which
looked
disgusting.
From
a
5
star
hotel
with
a
reputable
name,
you
would
expect
a
pizza
which
looks
and
has
the
texture
better
than
a
chicken
shop
one
that
someone
would
have
after
a
night
out.
We
spoke
to
the
team
and
they
were
perceptive
to
our
concern
and
have
kindly
removed
it
from
our
bill.
On
Sunday,
when
we
checked
out,
we
were
disappointed
by
the
lack
of
customer
skills
that
the
receptionist
was
having.
He
did
not
seem
to
be
in
the
mood
to
be
dealing
with
us
and
it
was
a
constraint
for
him
to
even
talk.
There
was
a
misunderstanding
on
our
room
balance
as
we
had
had
drinks
at
the
bar
the
night
before,
for
which
we
had
been
presented
with
a
bill
then
and
I
had
paid
for
it.
I
showed
him
the
receipt
and
he
was
very
hesitant
to
believe
that
the
receipt
was
even
real.
I
had
asked
him
to
tell
me
the
balance
on
the
room
but
he
kept
talking
about
how
I
have
to
pay
the
bill
for
the
bar.
He
had
a
know
it
all
attitude,
which
aggravated
the
situation
for
me
personally.
First
of
all,
as
a
5
star
hotel,
your
employees
should
be
at
a
certain
standard
regarding
their
level
of
training.
Secondly,
as
a
business,
you
should
care
about
your
customers
both
when
they
check
in
and
when
they
check
out.
It
felt
that
the
team
did
not
really
care
about
our
stay
but
rather
about
getting
the
money.
I
have
specifically
asked
the
guy
at
the
reception
if
we
can
go
and
have
a
coffee
in
the
bar
upstairs
to
which
he
has
said
yes
and
told
us
to
take
the
elevator.
When
we
got
there,
we
had
asked
another
member
of
staff
if
we
can
go
in
and
he
has
told
us
that
the
bar
and
the
restaurant
were
closed
at
the
time.
This
only
infuriated
us,
as
the
receptionist
should
have
know
that
the
bar
was
closed?
Overall,
it
was
not
a
pleasant
stay
and
I
would
not
recommend
it.
The
hotel
has
nice
rooms
and
facilities
but
it
is
rather
materialistic
than
customer
focused.
