I really enjoyed my stay, the place was exactly what I was looking for. Nice and clean, a pub downstairs when you want drinks, quiet when you go to sleep. Clean kitchen and bathrooms and digital nomad worthy WiFi. Thank you all!

Quiet hostel with decent rooms. The room I stayed in had a twin bunk bed which was good for me since I was traveling alone. I stayed for one night . The downstairs is a bar in the evening. Overall it was a good hostel with a relaxed vibe.

The owner is great. Can get single rooms with a twin or double bed. Bar below so don't need to go anywhere else for a drink. It is like a Cheers bar with wonderful, eclectic regulars. Also it is close to both the above ground train and the subway station, which makes it easy to get to and from the airport or anywhere else around London. The botanical gardens is just a short tube ride from the closest line.

Kinda weird energy right from the start. Pub downstairs was completely dead and smelled off. The real kicker though was the dead mouse on the bed when we walked in. Got our money back and left ASAP.

Had difficulty locating it because we didn't realize the Talbot Bar was the entry point (noticed a small sign on the door after carefully rereading the booking confirmation). Very friendly and helpful staff and the rooms are clean. Minimalist in the way of furniture, as to be expected with a hostel. We thought we had booked a double (two twins side by side that could be pushed together, but we were placed into a room with a bunk bed set. Good WiFi connection and fully equipped kitchen free to use. Two bathrooms with showers shared between approximately 10 guest rooms.

Best sleep I’ve had in a hostel. Period. Derrick the owner is so freaking nice. You will be in for a treat with this place. Only a short walk to the tube!

The staff is really nice! I had a 7 day reservation and my flight got cancelled last minute, usually hostels charge you at least for the first night, but they didn't charge at all, even though I could be there only for three nights. Location is nice, I felt safe walking late in the area and you have anything you could need to a walking distance. It's absolutely necessary to use the metro to get to the tourist attractions but the station is really close. Would come back!

See information as a pub. The rooms are kept clean and private rooms go for good and consistent prices.

Rooms are very basic, but it's a hostel so you shouldn't be expecting anything a whole lot. Everything, including the bathrooms, was very clean though. Nice bar below with a good local crowd and nice vibe. Less than a half hour to downtown London through the tube including walking time.

Very comfortable hostel with an outstanding host! Derek was very helpful throughout our stay, which ended up being shorter than expected. He was very flexible working with us and even offered to store our checked luggage while we backpacked to other cities. Would highly recommend this hostel for visiting London!

I stay here when I come up to London from Brighton and have been here several times. Very clean rooms and friendly staff, and a cosy bar below. Great value. Highly recommended.
