I am disappointed to write this review because up until our last day, I would have given this hotel 4 or 5 stars for the location and pricing alone. Unfortunately, we noticed a few things went missing out of our room the day we checked out. One missing item was a t-shirt from a concert we attended that was £40, and of course, it was a limited edition, so the only place it could be purchased was at the concert venue. Essentially, you would have to buy tickets to another concert just to buy that exact shirt. Tickets alone were $200. The second item, or rather items, were three pieces of jewelry that were not of much value (thank goodness), but were not cheap, nevertheless. We will take part of the blame in that we should have kept the "do not disturb" sign on our door handle our entire stay, but I don't think guests should have to worry about things being taken out of their room...especially when paying around $1,000 to stay. We, of course, spoke to the management. They essentially told us that they had no evidence that anything was stolen. We asked if there were cameras outside the rooms and if they could review them. They said that we would have to file a police report in order to review them. They spoke to the staff member that cleaned our room, and of course, they said they had not seen anything, but if they took something, why would they confess? Management essentially told us that they have to trust their staff over their guests, which I found interesting. I think that is admirable to some degree, but I think more trust should be placed in the guests who are paying thousands of dollars to stay there, which in turn pays the management and their staff. I would also think someone with that amount of money to spend would have no reason to falsely accuse hotel staff of stealing something out of their room in order to get around £40 in return. I was hoping this could be somewhere I could stay again during future travels, but the staff cannot be fully trusted, unfortunately.

Do not stay at this hotel if it’s the last thing you do!!! Don’t know where to begin but get ready for the list of problems. Be prepared to wait for a long time for the lift. Seems only one was working. Housekeeping extremely loud and shouting in the corridors. Trash and hoover left in corridor for several hours. Very run down - see pictures for carpets in communal areas. We were given Room 512, curtains torn, dust on tv, loud generator noise coming from outside. Door handle hanging off. Broken furniture. The beds are TINY! child sized with a massive dip in the middle. No spare pillows or blankets in the room. This place is in a great location but the hotel is DISGUSTING!!! Oh and if you ask if they can move you to an alternative room be prepared to start a battle you will most definitely lose. Eventually we were offered another room and an ‘upgrade’ for our inconvenience to another room which was quiet but freezing cold we had to ask for a radiator and the safe didn’t work. Breakfast buffet - the mushrooms and eggs were cold every day. Dirty plates (rice) in amongst the clean ones. So many staff working they were literally crowding round the buffet station and watching what you put on your plate. Horrible Atmosphere. Having stayed in many hotels this is NOT a 4 star.

Vollste Weiterempfehlung!

Bed bugs and blocked drains! Stayed here before lockdown and the hotel was a great find in an excellent location. However, a recent visit revealed a tired room with bugs crawling around the beds, and after staff reluctantly moved us (claiming there were no other available rooms in the hotel until we asked for a refund as we'd be not be staying), the second room was filthy and had blocked drains in the shower too! Will not be returning again.

Bedroom ceiling leaked all over the bed and my partner at 2am, was given a new room and explicitly told to leave our belongings in the first room since it was 2am. After a half hour kerfuffle we had another room, we were also assured a full refund. The next day we were rudely awoken by Erin (despicable lady) asking why we have left our belongings in the other room. After carefully explaining the situation she rudely asked if we could move our things. After moving I went to get a refund arranged to which a member of staff stated a refund would be made. 2 weeks later we’ve only received a partial refund as the hotel staff are incompetent and extremely rude. We where told that someone was sleeping in the leaky bed room (was neither me or my partner, not sure how anyone else other than hotel staff would get a key to the room) and that we had left our things in the leaky room therefore only eligible for a partial refund. When questioned who was in the room, Patricia responded with we don’t know. How ridiculous. Staff were rude and unapologetic about the whole situation and even still over the phone very rude and blunt. Just stay somewhere else. Would’ve given it a 0 if possible.

This is supposed to be a 4-star hotel. In my opinion it is not. The smell of mold hits you directly in the lobby and it is strong throughout the hotel. Room was not clean and situated next to a major noisy ventilation unit outdoors. We could change rooms, the new slightly better, but outdated furniture, mold in shower and a really dirty carpet.

Location is great. Service was nice enough, nothing special or memorable but nothing negative either. Beds are comfy, pillows a little too tall but that's fine, majority of the amenities you need in a hotel room are present. Problem: Air conditioning in the room is absolutely terrible, nothing worse than boiling alive in a room that's supposed to be 19°C. If you plan on travelling to London in the summer, don't pick this place, you will boil alive trying to rest.

First time in this hotel, if I would stay here again I cannot make my mind up at the moment. Being advertised as 4 stars, I think it used to be but is not anymore. Whilst the welcome was quite pleasant, the hotel itself is rather worked down. Rooms are fine for a city trip but nothing to spend the whole day at. Curtains are messed up, have spots of what seems to be beverages, ripped seams. Single bed rooms are really tiny if you are of a certain height you may have trouble using the bathroom (toilet really close to door and shower, shower low but good water pressure). The AC was too hot and at full blast, the windows could not been opened. After a long day I found my room at full light, full AC and bathroom fan running with a card from housekeeping keeping it all up. On another day, my room was not made up despite returning by the time of the usual check in time. Also, the soap and other amenities were not filled up when being fully used. So make sure to bring your own soap and cosmetic tissues. Breakfast is provided, I cannot comment on that. Gym is also provided, I cannot comment on that. Easy access to busses and the metro system are a big plus. You can also leave your luggage when exploring the city and get it later. Despite being the only person checking out at the time, I was not asked for my opinion or my experience with my stay.

Great location 2min walk from underground and Hyde Park. Rooms are small and closer to a 3* hotel room but the rest of hotel is very good. Extra points for gym and friendly front desk staff. For the price it's really good just don't expect a very fancy bedroom. Would stay here again

Location is amazing, service is amazing and breakfast is amazing. Recommend this place to anyone, be it a full family, young couple or solo traveler. Ideally situated right by Gloucester Road station, you can take the tube anywhere in Zone 1 in under 15-20mins. You can also stay in the area if you fancy a visit to the Natural History Museum or Victoria and Albert Museum. The food in the area is also great. There are lots of spots to choose from near the station and there is a couple of grocery stores next door. Breakfast at the hotel is great to get you going for a busy day full of exploring. The front desk is manned by two girls during the day who are each lovelier than the other. Both provide fantastic service and are eager to help whenever possible. Really tops off the experience. All in all, we had/are currently having a lovely stay at the Park International and would highly recommend it. We know we will definitely be back whenever visiting London.

Wonderful experience! The highlight of our stay was the entire management team. From restaurant to front desk, to concierge , and even the hotel manager! Every person we encountered here was kind, and polite. The room was clean, and spacious. Decoration is themed, and style is not modern. This was a big part of what made our experience here so enjoyable. The hotel is a little older and does need a little love, but this was not something that directly impacted our experience. On the contrary! This hotel was charming! The location is excellent, with easy access to Gloucester Station, Tesco, Boots, and even Starbucks. Will definitely return and recommend anyone visiting London and looking for a great hotel!

The location is good, but this is nowhere near a 4 star hotel. The entire building reeks of mold, be very careful this is something they are trying to cover up with an air freshener but should understand that Mold is a serious health hazard for a hotel this size. It’s not just one section smells like mold, it’s the entire hotel. The mattress is not good, I can feel every spring on my back. The hotel is falling apart from the inside out pieces of the exterior structure were literally falling off onto the sidewalk. It just bothers me that they advertise as 4 star when this is hardly a 2 star. Perhaps it used to be a 4 star 50 years ago.

Good location as your close to the main museums and the nearest tube station is less than a 5 minute walk which is on the Piccadilly line. Shame our room needed a little tlc. You could see filler in the walls which they haven’t repainted. The shower had a leak as well. The bathroom floor floods every time you have a shower. The staff knew about this as the mouldings around the door was rotten. That aside for £170 for two nights without breakfast I thought was very reasonable

    · Hotel location is great, central in London for food, public transport and museums and parks. Hotel staff is friendly and you can pay for optional breakfast or get it nearby on the streets around. I used hotel breakfast, and they have a good selection of food and coffees/juice. Just check before for allergic/vegan and other restrictions if it applies. Room was comfortable, bed cleaned, shower worked fine. Has a kettle, some tea (hotel can provide you coffee at the reception) and small and silent fridge. Property is well cared. Hotel staff is super helpful, but sometimes communication is not easy, so take time to speak slowly and they will gladly help you out. My room was on ground level up to the street and besides having double glass windows, it can get bit noisy with cars and emergency vehicles sometimes, but a big issue. I wish I could get slight less expensive rates, but London has got more expensive lately, and Park International is located near central zones and underground lines.

This hotel only flatters to deceive. Some of the rooms are really nice and big but some are so small that you could easily injure yourself if not careful. Biggest drawbacks came in the service - wanted some extra glasses and chairs as I had a few friends over for a meeting. Was not provided. On the day of my departure in early December the complete power system failed where nothing worked including the shower. No help from front desk. Clearly this hotel showed attitude that I did not like. Definitely won't recommend.

Great location and great rooms. However for an hotel that prides itself in being very sustainable I expected more: the absence of mono use plastic in the bathrooms and especially plant based options at breakfast. Breakfast here is quite expensive, and if you don’t eat animal Products there is only off-season fruit and bread to eat (not very sustainable considering the environmental impact of meat).

I promised that I would come back in and edit my initial review after my visit. I must say that I was very happy with my stay here. The staff was amazing especially Erin and another girl that I forgot to get her name but both of them were very helpful. The room was small but very cozy. I love that it was so close to the tube and I can get pretty much anywhere that I wanted from there. I will definitely be staying again

Overnight stay at here was excellent. Very convenient location . Reception staff incredibly helpful and so patient. Room compact and clean. Lovely continental breakfast with lots of choice in a very clean dining room. The staff so friendly and efficient. Checkout quick and easy, with staff clearly keen to ensure all went well and offered the option of leaving luggage in their care. Great customer service. Very happy and would stay again.

Couldn't find halal breakfast here. Besides, overall services of the hotel were below average. I was even not allowed to warm my food in the oven that was available in their kitchen. I asked for plates and forks, i was asked to come to the reception and collect myself. Didn't fnd it hospitable. Room cleaning was ok. However, overall hotel didn't smell pleasant. Location of the hotel is good though. Having around 15 mins train ride to central London and train and bus station was quite near from the hotel.

Do not stay here in my opinion, we had a Sewerage smell in our room on the 4th floor.Carpet was burnt from an iron.We were down graded to the basement. Dirty floors, poor housekeeping, drapes hanging off the rail, dirty towel, black in shower corners.Noisy corridor. As with other reviews it seems absolutely nothing is being done to rectify any of the issues. We travel to London four times a year, every year, this is the first time we have been down graded. This has to be our worst hotel experience in a lot of years travelling.

Location was excellent, closed to underground station and many restaurants. Walking distance to National history museum and Kensington palace. Room was EXTREMELY SMALL but very clean. Comfy bed. Breakfast was best: full buffet with cooked meals.

First of all I would like to say thank you to Erin for providing us with an amazing customer service . She was very professional and knowledgeable about her job. The room was clean and very homey. We will be back definitely ;) appreciate all your help and assistance Erin. God bless Park International Hotel :)

Bad experience overall. Absolutely outdated room. We realized that there was a thin blanket and when we asked for extra blanket they brought us two dirty blankets with hair on them. I would not recommend this hotel at all, cleaning issues around the whole hotel (corridors included) and the only good thing I would say is the location.

We booked 5 nights accommodation and then unfortunately due to a sudden serious medical condition were not able to travel. The booking condition was non-refundable and although I fully understand this means no refund was allowable, I would have thought that the Park International Hotel would have been thoughtful and concerned, considering the circumstances (medical documentation was provided) and been willing to offer at least a partial refund or future credit. Unfortunately nothing was forthcoming. We initially chose this hotel due to the photos of the establishment and location, and we chose to look beyond the negative reviews online at the time. Very disappointed at what appears to be compassionless management.

A lovely hotel in a good location. My friend owns a hotel within a few hundred feet away on the other side of the road to this one. The party I attended was in the breakfast room underground and everything was top notch. The service, food, drinks, everything.

Carpet was yuck, absolutely disgusting, I was hoping it was just in the hallway but I get into the room and it smells of olive juice and carpet looks dirty. Made me feel gross about what the bed must be like under these sheets. Room is super dated but bathroom is clean. Would never recommend.

I had a wonderful stay here. 1 night with my friend. Reception staff were friendly and pleasant. Very helpful. We were able to check in early and late check out, no charge! Rooms were clean, tidy and in decent decor. Bed is comfy and pillows! Breakfast was lovely, not had French Toast in ages, so was a nice treat! I would definitely come back and stay again! It was wonderful and great location to Museums, Gloucester Road nearest station, 5 min walk. Also a massive Waitrose right near the hotel. Very happy and wonderful stay!

My partner & I had to change our check in date due to a personal matter and the hotel was so nice and understanding about it. We booked the deluxe heritage room it was quite big and the decor was nice. The staff are very friendly and the hotel is clean. It could do with a small upgrade but overall our stay was very comfortable and it’s a fantastic location. There are good restaurants around and a Tesco And really close to the underground. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Polite staff, even stored our bags after we needed to be out our rooms on our last day. AC is great however there is no option to warm the room. TVs could do with updating maybe with a ‘now tv’ stick for Netflix or Disney+ etc, as its only arial however we had no issues with the TV. The bathroom was absolutely lovely, nice and clean. The water pressure is great too! the bed was comfortable and sheets were clean. One of our reading lamps was broken however it wasn’t a major issue for us as we only used the main side lamp. Overall great experience, would recommend

On the whole, a nice hotel. Rooms were a little tired in places. Hallways and landings smelled like years of smoking. We returned to hotel at 11:30pm and the hotel bar was already closed. Receptionists could have been friendlier but breakfast staff were great. Selection at breakfast was wide and food was lovely. Great location!

We stayed here for 3 nights. Our room was clean and well equipped. Every day there was a room service. Hotel is quite similar to the other ones in this part of London. Breakfast were quite good and the crew was very polite and helpful . For us it was really important that there was a gym available for guests. I must admit that it may be a bit loud in the room because of thin doors but other than that it was what we expected from the visit. Very positive.

The location of the hotel is good. The room was of an average size, although the bathroom was quite big. However, there was evidence of mould in the shower and the sink was clogged and barely let water through. The biggest negative was with the air conditioning which barely worked even though we tried to get the temperature down.

The hotel at all is good and in a good position but if you book just because they provide VIP benefits for hotels.com members just forgot about that. Also if they have room avaiable for today on their websites they will say we are fully booked we can’t give any upgrade. Is better if you don’t put these benefits at all and not kidding your customers

As soon as you enter the lobby your nose is assaulted by the smell of mildew. The whole place is very run down with chipped paint visible almost everywhere you look. The rooms are mostly clean, but incredibly dated. The couch in our room looked like it got picked up on the curb somewhere. The bathroom is decent sized, but the toilet is incredibly cramped. As someone just over 6 foot tall my knees nearly touched the wall when I sat down. The shower is a nightmare with visible mold and peeling paint covering the ceiling just above your head. How this place has 4 stars completely baffles me.

Hotel is unhygienic to stay in. It reeks of mold, and on 3 separate occasions/days we received dirty towels. Twice with foreign objects on them (used floss, used toothpick) after room service and a third towel given from the front desk had stains. Previous reviews called out the mold smell in the hotel, but we chose to ignore, big mistake. Our room’s AC/Heating also broke the first night, leaving the room freezing. We only noticed in the morning when the remote wouldn’t turn on. We left a note with the front desk to speak with a manager, but was never reached out to
