Don’t fall in the trap. It’s not expensive and in a good position. However there’s a big difference between decency and savings. I’m ashamed for the the prices applied: we were supposed to pay 240€ for a hole of barely 10sqm, including a coffin of 1,5sqm which supposedly was the bathroom. Window cracked, double bed curved as an hammock, the fan so noisy that required earplugs, the carpet so dirty you wouldn’t walk on it without shoes. 4th floor without elevator, the more you go up the more you realize the whole place would turn into a death trap in case of fire. For unknown reasons, no authority has closed this place so far

Stayed here after staying at Ascot Hyde Park. Another cheap and cheerful experience. If you want to get cheap rooms and dont care too much about aesthetics then id suggest coming here. Negatives -front rooms are noisy at night with the street life, rooms are creaky and very easy to make banging just by walking around and actually had the room underneath complain when kids was just moving around. Rooms are built unprofessionally and built to save room, shower in front room was very tiny and looked like couldn't even fit, was right in front of the toilet. Back room had a "second floor" built above the other beds to add more beds with a steep ladder and that made alot of creaking and banging noises just moving around. Shower in back room was awkward to get the right temp as had single hot and cold taps you have to adjust yourself to get right mix of water. Positives- its one the cheapest in Paddington. Polite staff and able to leave luggage in the front room for free after checking out. Nice large lobby with comfy sofas. Continental breakfast is included with cereals, croissants, pan aux chocolat. Multigrain bread with 2 large toasters, jams, marmalades and butters. Boiled eggs (get fresh as they aren't cooled down so left hot which continue cooking in the bowl), yoghurts. Woman preparing and cleaning up was very polite and helpful. Rooms are nice and cool even during the heatwave, in the morning around half 4 I actually had to use some cover as it got a little chilly with the windows open. Tv had freeview and was small but watchable. Had a very large fan to use but was also very noisy so didnt use it. Kettle with your brewed essentials available in the room. Not too far from Paddington Station, underground, hyde park and local shops. Sainsburys and m&s are in paddington station if you need water and snacks or maybe alcohol. Mcdonalds, subway and KFC are just around the corner Everything is pretty much within 5 mins walking distance. All in all if you want a cheap (compared to all others) hotel with breakfast and good location I would say go here. Its not always about aesthetics when you want to save money.

Really don't understand all the negative reviews... There is no lift, so the 4th floor is a bit of a walk, but most places we've stayed in U.K, don't have lifts because the buildings are old. The room is clean, a small free breakfast included. The window opens which cools it down pretty quickly at night. Rooms are small, but have a little closet for hanging items, the TV doesn't work, or i just couldn't figure out how to use it, but we wouldn't be traveling if we wanted to sit around and watch tv, so no loss there. Location is amazing, close to Paddington Station and we've walked all over the city from here, and the price couldn't be beat.

Just don't go there. Whole hotel is dirty and super worn. Our room was so small that we could barely move, and the bathroom was the size of a wardrobe. No pressure in the shower, so using soap wasn't an option, as it wouldn't have gone off. Not that it was any soap there anyways. The water was either glowing hot or freezing, and it almost didn't drain. It was hard to sleep, having seen all the open and visible clusters of power cables in the staircases, the loose power outlets and the open firedoors. All in a "hotel" built in wood with dirty carpets and dry walls all over. Probably a DEATH TRAP, as there was only fire alarms outside each floor, and none in the rooms or the stairways. Breakfast consisted of a dry slice of bread and a slice of cheese. Luckily they asked if we wanted a fried egg, which saved us just a little bit. All in all, just don't go. If you can't afford anything else, then wait until you can instead of going here.

Very nice clean room, unfortunately it was in the basement which made it really hot despite us having to use the fun most of the time.Anyway we stayed for 5days and we had a great time.We will definitely go back again soon.

Shabby. No elevator. Steep stairs. Dirty, ill fitted carpets. Electric fan that sounds like there's a hovercraft in the room. Not even remotely recommending this place

Worst hotel... Waste of money. The room is covered full of dust and not clean at all... Didn't change the bed covers. Its smells like hell. 😣 no space in bathrooms.. Public bathrooms are better than this... Waste waste waste ...

Typical London hotel, this hotel is really close to Paddington station, zone is quite and clean. Rooms are clean and bigger than other ones. These hotels have no lifts so its difficult if you have a room on the 4th floor...too many stairs, but at least you can leave your bags or personal things downstairs... Breakfast is not very special but correct... Tra machine on the room, TV, bathroom, and clean so overall correct, price is not super high.

Good location and friendly staff but the room was more like a hostel than a hotel. Decor was old, the room was very small and directly behind reception so noise was a real issue, not only from other guests, but every time the room above used the bathroom, it sounded like Niagara falls. That alongside the noise of the underground shaking the room every few mins meant it was not a relaxing place to stay. Also, as you can see from my pictures, that is quite some veiw you are greeted with. It was clean however.

Reception was not welcoming. Our room was dirty with loose wires and our “bathroom” smelt like a smoke room. Most worryingly was that many of the fire doors were wedged open and our windows were painted shut…

Location is great. We were able to walk to any sight we wanted to see. Also breakfast was okay. But staff was exceptional! They were all so nice and they have no problem with whatever we wanted. Clean service came everyday, so no problem with cleanliness. Even though walls seemed really thin and the hotel was full, we haven't heard any other people. Also the neighborhood was really quiet, in the morning we even heard some birds. Beds weren't much comfortable, but that's probably also because we are quite tall. Also wifi did work well only on our first day.

Hotel very run down and dirty could do with a major overhaul. Had to carry heavy luggage up 4 flights of steep stairs with no help offered. WiFi available but extremely slow. Cups and coffee available in the rooms but tasted disgusting. Shower area very small not much good for a large person and water pressure very low. Breakfast included but consisted of a couple of eggs and toast. Not quite your typical English Breakfast. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this place

Not a modern hotel but it is clean. Employees are kind and breakfast is nice. Top spot to visit London. A good rate quality/price!

Was OK for a night, wouldn't want to to stay longer. Desperately in need of plenty of some TLC. Generally looks and feels run down. The drain in the bathroom smelt terrible and the toilet flush surround was broken. Strange marks on the bed cover. On the positive side, the room had tea and coffee making facility and the bed was comfortable. Full English breakfast was cooked fresh to order which was a good start to the day.

We ended up in this hotel due to it being the cheapest hotel near paddington, it was clean but the shower was cold and the water pressure was terrible, we were on the fourth floor and there was no lift so we had to walk up a very steep staircase to get to our room. Our family room was very cramped and the beds were quite old and flimsy. The breakfast was terrible, the cereal and croissants were stale and old, no cooked breakfast available. This hotel is in a great location it just needs some issues fixing.

Staying here for a week and the staff have been very helpful. Got a great price for this close.to Paddington station. Unfortunately, there's no lift, and so it's a bit of a climb if your room ends up being on floor 4 like mine.

    - Location is very good, close to numerous important transportation lines - Plus, hotel is very cheap (compared to other hotels in London) But: - Even though it is not the hotel's fault, walls were trembling each time the local train or subway was passing through, so every other minutes) - Cleanliness was clearly bad: stained walls, mold in the shower seals, cigarettes holes in bed covers - Room was on the way to the stairways, so very noisy So all in all, is it really a bargain? I am not sure
