Outstanding taste and value for money. The food caters to many with a halal menu, a vegan menu, express menu and a brunch weekend special. The Bali Pork Belly (£8.50) came with four pieces of perfectly cooked - crunchy exterior, juicy and tasty interior - pork smothered in a sweet soy sauce. The Green Curry (£14.50) was fresh and full of flavour with a generous side of sticky rice. The Pad Thai Pawn was equally tasty with a good balance of peanut, shrimp and noodle. The service was friendly, efficient and proactive fully earning the optional 12.5% service charge. The interior and vibe is lively and buzzy. A convenient, laid back spot for tasty Asian food close to Tottenham Court Road and Oxford Street.

We celebrated a friend’s birthday dinner at East Street by Tampopo. The place is just off Oxford street and is very central and well located. The place itself is spacious and comfortable and perfect for large groups. The interior decor is quirky with influences and signs from many different south East Asian countries. The menu is really large and offers a big range of dishes. Highlight starters have to be the sticky wings and chicken satay. The vegan platter was interesting and different. For Mains go for the beef rendang, fried rice or the pad Thai. Make sure to get the King pad Thai version where it is wrapped in an omelette. They also offer a small halal menu.

Literally a bottomless brunch of dreams! Great food, amazing cocktails and such a cool vibe inside this hidden gem. The restaurant itself had awesome hanging signs as if you were inside a market, and it just got better from there. The cocktails were fantastic, full of flavour and so unique compared to some that I've seen before. The food itself was lovely and the perfect size really. I would definitely recommend a visit, as it was fab value for money too!

We walked past and loved the funky Asian neon signs so decided to grab a bite and what a great discovery!! 🏮 Loved the decor and ambiance, make sure you check out the toilets. Lots of couples as well as groups of friends dining. Friendly service from the whole team and manager. We only shared a few Little Plates but all yummy. 🇰🇷🍗 The Crunchy Korean popcorn chicken definitely stood out as well as the Beef Tataki and Corn Fritters. Didn't order any large plates but they looked pretty appetising as well!

A group of 4 of us went for the bottomless brunch and we absolutely loved it! One of the best priced Bottomless brunches in London! The staff were so welcoming and friendly, they explained what was included in the brunch and every time we were finished with our drinks they brought us more straight away, we didn’t have to wait! The food is absolutely delicious! Everything was freshly made and amazing! Best value for money, delicious food, great atmosphere and brilliant staff! Thanks for a great time! We’ll definitely be returning!

The ambiance is distinct, and the pricing is fair for the generous portion sizes. Great starter options. I opted for the Chicken Pad Thai for the main course, and it was a delightful taste experience. Although I didn't indulge in dessert this time, caramel churros was not good enough, I'm looking forward to returning to explore more options. This spot is perfect for gatherings with colleagues, friends, or family. Great interior.

I used to enjoy the old "Tampopo" restaurants, so I thought I would give this place a try. The sharing platter was a great start (the pork was excellent). The mains took a while to come out, and it felt like they had been left out. One was a bit cold, and the chicken was quite dry. I had the Thai Curry Noodles, and I didn't like the crunchy noodles on the top (it felt like uncooked noodles had just been dropped on top). It might just be me, though. Overall, the food was good, and they had some nice cocktails. Nice relaxed atmosphere for a central London location. I felt I had time to sit and enjoy my meal with no time pressure.

Did we all go to the same place? If you want below average Thai food you’d enjoy this. Nothing was bad but nothing was particularly good either, and for £14/£15 per main, there’s tons of better places to go. We ordered a variety of starters and dinners and everything was a let down. Even the cocktails, which even though tasty, barely tasted alcoholic and aren’t served traditionally. Also service wise, it was insanely average and we had to flag down our waiters for almost everything, even to get the plates taken away. Only pro is the decor is great. 3/5 would not recommend.

Definitely style over substance, and even the style lacked substance. Good points, decent portions, ok price, fun atmosphere, amazing mochi. The negatives, the food was not very tasty or good quality, staff looked burnt out, horrible toilets. Overall, mediocre, but not an evening wrecker.

Fun, vibrant decor which transports you to Asia. The Pad Thai came as a generous portion and was a great concoction of different flavours and textures. The katsu curry had a strong flavour which became a bit too much after a while and the sweet potato croquettes were quite hard. I was really disappointed that the roti wasn’t freshly made and I’m sure they were frozen Shana parathas which I have at home for a fraction of the cost. The lychee and kiwi cooler was amazing and the star of the day.

Great little place. The decor is quite unique, food is reasonably priced for the portion size. The corn fritters (starters) were absolutely delicious. For the main I had the pork Krapow which was tasty! I didn't try the dessert but will be back to try out some more. It's a great place with work mates, friends or family.

1 star for the cheeky "optional" service charge that you don't get asked if you actually want to pay it. The server put the full whack into the card machine. I don't get why they do this. Why should the customer have for it to be taken off. I hate that all these restaurants do this. Food was good. Lots of flavour. Portions size has gone down since the last time I went and prices have gone up. We went around 6:30pm and it was dead so I assume paying customers probably feel the same as me about the costs and portions and services charge. I think this will be my last visit

YUMMY! 🤤 Food was delicious! We had Laksa soup, spicy tonkotsu, and spring rolls 😋 The atmosphere was amazing, really felt like I was having Street food back home! Staff was lovely and friendly! Food arrived quick. Price was affordable and very good portion. I definitely recommend this place as there's so many food and drink to choose from😍

I don’t know how this place has so many good reviews. Maybe we went there for one of the particularly bad days? But it was one of the worst foods I’ve had in ages. Seaweed (Wakame) salad was disgrace with discoloured, over-hydrated wakame and poor flavours. Somehow the side dish kimchi fried rice was served with the starter and did taste very stale. Beef in the rendang was very hard. Laksa and pad Thai tasted really not fresh. I think food can really be subjective to people’s taste and given it’s Asian food, I really wished I’d loved something, but nothing there seemed to have a good taste. I wouldn’t go there for food, it’s just not worth it.

I've lost count on how many times I've been to this restaurant the past few years. This place is a gem on the high street. Excellent and central location, venue layout is mimicking the far east market set up with the neon-bright sign, staff are amazing in their job and very approachable, the food is heaven and to die for, but warning some of them are spicy and the price are decent. The only thing is it gets really loud but look on the bright side.. The nois can get really loud, however, his only adds to the ambiance of being in a in the far east 😂. I love this place

Fantastic food with speedy service – perfect for those on the go! An enticing variety of Asian dishes will satisfy your taste buds, offering excellent value for money. Plenty of vegan and halal choices, though some curries come in slightly smaller portions.

By far the best Pan-Asian restaurant in the neighbourhood. Every dish we’ve ordered were delicious. The service was excellent and the decor is really fun too. Nothing bad to say about it. Highly recommended for a diner with friends or a date.

Tried this place over the weekend given the number of glowing reviews this place had received. I like the ambience, style and decoration of the place. Staff members were polite and friendly as well, however, I was not very impressed with the selection of meals available. It felt very haphazard and was more Asian Fusion and Pan-Asian then South East Asian. The food was okay, but it was too flavourful, and was not at all very authentic. I suppose this place is good if you wanted to try an Asian Fusion style meal but it was for me. I also felt like the prices were quite costly, and they add their discretionary service charge to the bill - which means the prices are much higher than the inital menu prices (which was already high). Overall, an okay place - but not for me, and I won't be coming back.

I enjoyed our sharing platter and my beef randang, the beef was nice and tender. The pork belly and the satay chicken skewers were my highlight of the starters. My sister didn't enjoy her udon dish as much. Some dishes are on the smaller size but I still left feeling full.

Went there yesterday after a couple of years - yes the food is still fantastic! Absolutely out of this world! Highly recommended:) I used to go there regularly when I worked in the area but will definitely make an effort to start visiting more often:) The best restaurant in the area, the food is fresh and absolutely delicious!

I e walked past this place so many times but never walked in until recently. Staff are really helpful and the food is great. We ordered the vegan sharing platter, chicken satay, nasi goreng, green curry and the Singaporean curry. All came in reasonable time and portion sizes were pretty decent. Green curry could have done with more chilli but that is a personal preference more than anything. Will be going back again!

Really fast, tasty, freindly street food! Student freindly prices and portions. Great flavours, different dishes actually have unique tastes. Cosy street food themed interior, in a surprisingly large restaurant.

Amazing place! Service was great, with the perfect recommandations from my waiter, Sek, especially the Thai Curry noodles, so yummy. I also really felt like travelling somewhere in Asia, decorations are top. I Definitely recommend this place!

Food was delicious, service excellent. So many amazing vegan options, clearly marked on the menu. Can't say enough, highly recommend. We had the Phad Thai and Fried Rice entrees, spring roll starters (delicious peanut sauce), and mango sorbet for dessert. YUM!!!

I had bottomless brunch, the food was fresh and flavourful. Cocktails were good but the rum bucket was disappointing as it’s basically just ice, rum shoot and coke in a bucket. Pineapple pancakes was delicious.

  • 3/5 An N. 2 years ago on Google
The food was was fine, but not what I expected, maybe you want to put a little bit more of tamarin instead of salt for pad Thai ????. I was so impressed how you decorated the restaurant with a lot of “shop’s name board” from some streets in Vietnam, collecting a lot of stuffs from Asia countries, but your main decorations based in Vietnam’s style, why did you only have Vietnamese Coffee and spring rolls? Hopefully can come back again and try new foods.

Pilu was a fantastic host, she recommended the best dishes, cocktails, her smiley face is what you need when coming to eat on a Friday night after work. Thank you for your service, amazing hospitality!! Definitely recommend x

A great range of tasty dishes and unexpectedly not shy on the spice which was a pleasant surprise! The service was excellent, and the portions were good value for money. The pad krapow khai is also a must try if you like spicy food.

Stumbled upon this restaurant last night in passing and I’m so happy I did. Really quick to be served and for the food to arrive at the table. The food was really tasty. I had the pork gyoza, chicken satay with Vietnamese rice, and the vermicelli noodles. Would definitely recommend and would definitely go again!

The place doesn’t look like much from the street, but once you enter, the decor and delicious smell takes you right in. I think it’s made to look like a street market, very nice! I had one of the lunch special dishes and was not disappointed! The food is very delicious, fresh, and the service was very attentive. There is a QR code at the table to view menu and pay the bill which is brilliant! The prices are decent, drinks are quite a bit more than other places (about £3 for a little bottle of Coke Zero). Very nice experience and very good food. Will definitely go back to try other dishes.
