Our 1st meal in London and it's an amazingly great start. Friends told us we shouldn't have any expectation about the food in UK since it is not good. However, Drury brought us a positive impression with their delicate and satisfying food. We had their Egg Royale which is egg bendict with salmon and French Toast to share with 2 of us. The portion was decent with reasonable price. We love the french toast so much, the toast was soft and melted in our mouth immediately after we had it.

What a great cafe! The food here is incredible! You’ll most likely have a wait, but it’s not too long and so so worth it. They have a wide selection of pastries to go with coffee but, Do yourself a favor and get the French toast. You won’t regret it!

The food is very ordinary. Danish pastry was not even crispy, felt like been there for a while and getting stale. Beacon was extremely salty. Service was good. Seat was a bit uncomfortable and really close to others.

Great and cozy atmosphere, almost feel like home, very creative decoration with tons of books and comments left by the clients. Staffs were very well trained, professional and helpful. The dishes were nicely prepared and the waiting time was not long. Very nice smoothie! A simple suggestion for improvement: please offer more bread choices, such as rye bread instead of normal sourdough and gluten free.

One of the best mochas that I have ever had. The window seat was perfect for a coffee and nice sit in between classes. The staff were incredibly attentive and took care of every person who came into the cafe. Highly recommend stopping in for a cup and trying one of their iconic toasts, sandwiches, or pastries.

well labeled menu, good gluten free and veg options. good coffee. great atmosphere. If you are looking to eat at a table, you don’t have to wait in the counter line. you can find an open table (or quickly grab one as someone leaves like we did) and order at the table. It was super busy while we were there but the food was great and delivered promptly.

We've been staying literally across the road in the travel lodge each time we visit London for the last few years and only this time we found the best breakfast in London across the road! We waited for a table each morning no longer than 10mins max, the staff are so efficient & friendly. The restaurant is quirky & clean. Coffee is great food us fabulous. We had hot breakfasts Drury eggs, waffles, French toast, poached eggs & granola. It was that good we came back on our second day & not often we visit the same place twice but we loved it so much

Great place for brunch just near Covent garden and directly opposite a Travelodge if you’re staying there. I took a latte, ginger shot and the sweet waffles. It was all great. I should’ve ordered a side of maple syrup but that’s my bad. Service was excellent and the vibe is really nice in there. Totally recommend

I love this place and come here often for their lovely breakfast /brunch. They have vegan options, such as scrambled tofu. They tend to have a queue on weekends, so come early or prepare to queue. I want to suggest not to charge extra for alternative milk (I know you are not the only one, but it would be nice to support the environment by not charging extra).

Really a gem of a cafe. Our coffee and brunch was delicious and the atmosphere of the restaurant is cosy and comfortable. Even though we didn't try the baked goods, they looked incredible. I do have to mention though that we had to queue for an hour for a table of four on a Saturday... More tables of 2, but tables for 4 (or more) are limited and can take a while to be seated.

Cute little cafe that you wouldn't expect to be so popular! They literally have a queue so long that they have to be on the other side of the road. But the queue moves very quickly so you won't be standing in the cold for too long! They have great selection of pastries and brunch options are great. I especially love that sandwich selections because they have different fillings with different type of bread.

Visited London overnight, inadvertently walked past and saw a queue outside, thought that was a good sign although didn't fancy queueing. Went at 0930 Saturday 17th Feb and queue was relatively short. Although a table of 3 were seated before us ( table for 2) - which I can understand in terms of filling the spaces but managing your expectations. We waited about 25 minutes . Once the food came the queue was instantly forgotten ....like childbirth, I'm told ..... Amazing breakfast and sandwich selection. One waiter was a little surly/moody but the remaining staff were lovely and pleasant. Photo is poached egg ( best ever ) , on sourdough toast, with halloumi and bacon ( both extra ) and strawberry smoothie........ Amazing eggs.

The Waffles were great and had good looking especially they added the baked banana, but the chocolate sauce was a little bit too sweet. If you are alone coming here, you may only can sit at the side position or share a large tea table. And the staff may ask you to remove to the position. I understand they need the connected seat prepared for the couple guests but it may interrupt your meals. All in all the experience is very good and you could enjoy a brunch.

Wanted to find a good breakfast spot near our airbnb in Covent Garden…this place EXCEEDED all of our expectations!! Wow!!! From the fresh and flavorful food to the impeccable and kind service, you will NOT be disappointed with your experience here! Ali is the most gracious and kind host, and our server was also exceptional! Try one of the fresh smoothies or fresh juice shots. I am typically hard to impress with restaurants, but this one was a 10 out of 10!!!

A cozy and busy place 5 mins walking from the British Museum. You may need to queue a bit on weekends as it gets busy. The service is quick. We had ordered one Poached Eggs on Sourdough Toast with Crispy Bacon and one Eggs Drury. For me, the latter was the winner amongst the two. I paired it with Hot Chocolate which was okay. Similar to my other reviews, I liked the limited menu. Highly recommended for a quick, cozy and pocket friendly brunch.

Amazing food and amazing coffee. The French toast is so soft with rich yogurt and berries. The waffles are amazing too, most crunchy bacon I ever had, highly recommend to try this. The avo sourdough is good with lot of lemon juice, but the mushroom and crumble eggs are the best of best in my whole breakfast. The mushroom is good flavor and bigger than I usually had in other brunch! Overall really nice place to have breakfast and coffee :)

Nice staff and food It's my first time to try flat white and it's quite strong for me. I am not sure if all flat whites are like this. Caramel and pistachio brownie is divine. Perfect to accompany with coffee

An average brunch spot in London with good coffee and instagramable food. Personally, I think the food is not as good as expected, not worth the wait for 40mins at least! Food price is average (££). Food: 7.5/10 Eggs Drury (10/10) - Really good. Hollandaise sauce was on point and eggs are really fresh. For bacon lovers, strongly recommend this. If not, the normal Eggs Benedicts will do! Avocado Toast with mushrooms (7/10) - It a little bit on the sour side. Personally not a sour person, so whoever likes sour food might like this! French toast (5.5/10) - Presentation was outstanding, but taste was not as good. Toast was too dry and berries are bland. Disappointed. Staff: 10/10 - Staffs are really helpful and polite. We were arranged to be sat on a couch and low table and we found it really hard to eat our food from the low table, so we requested to change to a normal table. One of the staffs quickly arrange a table for us and even helped us to move our food to that table. We really appreciate it!

Very busy restaurant. We were lucky to get a table despite the lunch crowd. We both ordered a main (roast chicken) and 2 sides (different salads, one can choose 1, 2 or 3 salads). Food was tasty, and they ran out pretty quickly. They have a decent range of baked goods as well.

A cozy cafe with nice selection of brunch food, drinks, and cakes. Good ambiance for catching up with people. A bit too crowded and too noisy for deep work so better come here for food and people!

The food was good, I really enjoyed the menu and the cappuccinos were amongst they best I have ever tried. But the service, wow that was messy and unstructured. They missed things on our order and forgot a coffee that we where asked to pay for. Love the vibe, but it’s a fine line between Bohemic and dirty…please clean the toilets better (picture from vent that is in total reachable height in the bathroom)

Best brunch I've had in London, highly recommend this place. The waffles, berries, bacon and coffee are particularly great. Expect to queue for 10 minutes at busy times before being seated. The minted water in carafes is also a nice touch, as is the option of leaving a written message to stick on the wall.

We visited Drury for Sunday brunch last weekend and it didn’t disappoint! The portions were very generous and the food + coffee were amazing. The prices are reasonable for a cafe/brunch spot and the wait was not too long for a table for two, about 20 mins.

We patronised this cafe on a weekend morning and we were lucky to get a table immediately. This cafe is known to serve hearty & most importantly very presentable breakfasts and wide varieties of pastries and some really healthy smoothies to kick-start the day. There are many messages written on the tissues and placed all over the place, a good read while waiting for food to be served. So just sit back & enjoy the meal!

I don't know you, but when I go to a place and the staff shows happiness, attention, respect, calm I just want to go back... I was looking around to find an eggs Benedict that I would like, and tbh, I loved this one! Came to my table warm, hollandaise sauce very well prepared and delicious taste of butter on my English muffins. Cappuccino with skimmed milk perfectly prepared. Thank you for the amazing experience! Highly recommended!!

Blown away by how wonderful this place was. The staff were so welcoming when we went in for breakfast (feeling a little tender from the night before!) We were served beautiful food with fresh coffee, freshly pressed orange juice and a lovely atmosphere. Everything on the menu could be made gluten free and the in shop bakery had so many gluten free and vegan options. I would go out of my way to visit again!

Good brunch, good coffee, good lunch and good cakes. All for good price as well. The place is cosy and the waiters are the nicest in London. Maybe for all these reasons it is always full. If you go for brunch, I recommend their eggs benedict or their french toast. If you go for lunch, they offer different combinations of salads and proteins that are delicious and healthy. But I’m sure anything you try will be good. I always love to come back.

Visited the cafe twice on 29 Nov 2021 and 04 Dec 2021. I ordered avocado toast with poached eggs and a cup of cappuccino on my first visit. Overall, the dish had good proportion and the cafe did great cappuccino. The flavour was average. One thing that bothers me was the lemon dressing in the avocado. The lemon juice was too much to the extent that I can feel the acidic lingering in my mouth. I thought to give it another try on my second visit and brought my partner along. This time round, I requested to reduce the lemon dressing, but only to find out that the avocado was prepped in advance and the lemon dressing had already been mixed in with the avocado so the lemon dressing cannot be reduced. I ordered another dish - scrambled eggs with bacon which was alright while my partner ordered eggs royale. The smoked salmon was a disappointment as it didn’t taste fresh.

A busy and atmospheric breakfast and lunch venue. Fabulous food due to meticulous attention to detail. Generous portions. Eggs poached to perfection. Care not to place scrambled eggs on toast (which can make it soggy). Mushrooms pre-roasted to intensify the flavour and remove water (again to ensure no sogginess on the plate). A lovely touch was the carafe of water infused with mint leaves. We saw fresh ingredients brought in - mushrooms, herbs. Only negative was that it was a bit pricey, but then you get what you pay for.

Wow found this little gem of a place by chance and would highly recommend, fantastic freshly prepared food. We were served by Sahin who really went that extra mile to make us feel welcomed and valued as a customer. Nothing was too much trouble. If you’re ever that way you should definitely give it a try. You won’t be disappointed 🥰

Genuinely one of the best breakfast and brunches I’ve had in a while. I loved the food especially the coffee. Every item on the menu is so so delicious and made with high quality ingredients. The price is reasonable for the high quality food 🥰❤️

I’ve never done a review to Drury as I considered it my hidden gem and preferred not to share with everyone. ( but last day I did 35 minutes cue, so guess is not hidden anymore.) I consider this the best spot in london for breakfast or just a quick coffee with a friend. All the food is fresh and smells like home, while the portions are very big. The staff is always kind and caring, never once I felt like I had to leave the table quickly or without a smile from them! My mum also loves it and when she comes visit to london, it’s a must visit spot. During the week the lunch is also very tasty and great deal in terms of money. Love the salads and the salmon. The pistachio caramel brownies are the best I’ve ever tried in my life and always highly suggest them!

Cozy and charming cafe. This is for sure one of the best brunches I’ve ever had. Great service, friendly staff, high quality food and delicious coffee. As recommended I’ve tried their brownie and it was unreal 🤤.

Drury Lane is one of my favorite cafe in London. I love their brunch ( with #glutenfree bread) and their salads and quiche for lunch ( also gluten free). The venue has cute and messages scattered around the walls and is full of books. Book, coffee and food 3 main ingredients to a happy life.

The second time to this cafe, their breakfast and brunch are very good. Cozy environment with good services. Love their savoury waffle breakfast, avocado toast… the egg Benedict is perfectly done. Be prepared there will be long queue during peak hours especially weekend.

I recently visited this cafe in London, and I must say, the food here is truly delicious. The portions are generous, and the presentation is visually pleasing. The taste of the dishes definitely lived up to the hype. However, I have mixed feelings about my overall experience. The cafe's high ratings and popularity led us to expect something extraordinary, but unfortunately, we found ourselves waiting in a 30-minute queue. While the food was excellent, the anticipation built up during the wait left us slightly disappointed. Perhaps our expectations were too high, but we couldn't shake the feeling that the cafe was slightly overrated. Despite this, I want to highlight the exceptional service we received. The staff were attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. Their professionalism and attentiveness were truly commendable. Now, let's talk about the desserts. We decided to indulge in a doughnut and a cronut. However, we were disappointed to find that both were dry and almost stale. It was evident that they had been sitting out for a while, and we couldn't even finish them. This was a letdown, especially considering the otherwise outstanding food we had earlier.

It’s always a pleasure to visit Drury!! It was my third time eating at the cafe. And I have to visit every time I’m in London. The food, the staff, the atmosphere - It’s 10/10 ⭐️ Today we talked with one of the employees - I didn’t get his name - but he was so nice!! He recommended us places to see and eat and etc. Thank you!! We / I will definitely visit again 🙏🏼
