Morrisons

Supermarket

👍👍 I'm normally not a shopper here but as other supermarkets have increased their nappy prices, this was the cheapest and I ended up doing my groceries too. Truth is, quality and prices are really good and I've been back trice since first visit and will definitely keep going. People often mention staff, shop, good, service, tills, time, store, fish, closed, prices,

Tried for the first time hot food from the Market area. The lady who served us was absolutely fantastic (Cathy). She did a wonderful job with the pizzas I ordered and was fast, clean and extremely polite. Pizza was cheep, fresh and delicious.

Popped in here, to pick up some home baking beans and other items. A quick shop, although it was busy with shoppers and a few self- service tills were out of action at the time. I managed to get through with my purchase quickly.

Large supermarket with a good selection of produce and other groceries. Great for a weekly shop in the area or for a top up during the rest of the week.

I love Morrisons but NOT the staff who works here. Some of them are so rude, and disrespectful and don't want to help. The staff who works at the bakery, is really disrespectful & unhelpful. She will pretend she didn't see you and turn her back on you, even if she can't get rid of you, she will not even look at you when answering. Another one who works at the till of Tabacco, she loves to watch something on her phone more than respond to customers and acts very slow, so that's why there is a long queue.

An unbelievable experience with this place. Literally grabbed a 89p watermelon shopping bag to self checkout thought to pay it with all the other items, one African counter lady saw me and chased all the way down, told the security that I snatched a bag even before she spoke to me. And accused me loudly in front all the other customers if I snatched a bag or not and I literally just scanned it…. Couldn’t you see with your own eyes? Or should I INFORM you when I grabbed the bag? That’s so very embarrassing. What kind of service is this? The product is on the customers side, are we not allowed to grab it ourselves and pay for it? Then why you don’t have a sign for that or what’s the point of the self checkout if you can’t even trust your customers with just a 89p bag? Are you gonna accuse everyone who grab anything from the store to pay in self checkout that they SNATCHED the products? This is ridiculous and way beyond understanding. The staff needs some proper trainings.

We do most of our weekly food shopping here. It's almost always busy, but you get through the tills quick enough. They have now opened a new area called Kitchen Market. It is a part of the main entrance. This is the only one in the Country. There is a very wide selection of hot food for take away. Pizza, pasta, vegaterian, fish n chips and full all day English. There is some seating area. Definitely worth a visit, or two.

The shop has a place to park your car, the shop is nice and clean and also the fact that there are trolleys to shop with that makes it easier. Wheelchair access is available since there is a lift.

The place after the refurbishment looks much better with more space inside! A huge variety of food and drinks! Got a hot food section! The shop is clean and tidy the prices for meat are quite high but for fish the prices are quite good except of the Carp fish, which is very high! My favourite part of this shop is the flower stand!

They sell quorn vegetarian strips, which I love and rarely find anywhere . Also I like their ginger and garlic paste. The fresh garlic, mushrooms , peppers and spring onions are good quality and kept at the right temperature . I like the shop and the staff . I do notice they usually/always have the toilets closed which is a bit mean especially since they have a cafe .

A recent refurbishment has seen the addition of a food hall at the main entrance. Lots of vendors serving hot meals. There is also space to sit down to eat your meals. There is plenty of parking on 3 levels with 2 hours free parking. There is a separate florist section at the entrance to the store which has a good selection of flowers and plants. Very good location on Wood Green high St close to the shopping village and mall.

What has happened to the fresh fish section over the last 4 months? The fish selection used to be good but now it is often empty, and the fish does not look fresh. The range has also decreased.

As nobody from management respond to these reviews it rather seems pointless for customers to bother writing. However although the staff on the tills are ok the remainder who fill the shelves hadn't yet grasped that it is unhelpful when they leave their trolleys right in the middle of the floor. As common sense is lacking why aren't they trained in such matters? And finally inferably even basis items aren't available. A good store no I don't think so.

What a steal at just £6! It's hard to find a better deal than this. The only downside is that it's 5:30pm, so the bacon seems to have been sitting in the warmer for quite a while, making it a bit on the dry side. Additionally, the egg yolk is overcooked. However, despite these minor issues, I'm still quite satisfied with my purchase! I must also mention the delightful lady at the counter, who added a touch of warmth and friendliness to my experience.

I recently visited the Morrisons in our neighborhood, and I must say it exceeded my expectations. Despite being in a challenging area, the store was clean, well-organized, and the staff were incredibly friendly. The selection of fresh produce was impressive, and I appreciated the effort put into maintaining a positive shopping environment. Kudos to the team for creating a welcoming oasis in an otherwise challenging location.

With the amount of cashiers still working on the tills, you can pay quickly for your food or other items, the prices are also reasonable .

I was looking for onions an I asked a worker for help and he actually looked in the stockroom for me. He was extremely polite and respectful, he already is as I am a regular customer there and I usually ask him for help when I need something. 6/01/23

There was no one on the meat station and no member of staff acknowledged me. The man on fish station came to help but wasn't wearing gloves and coughed in the air and then apologised. They didn't shave the hair properly on the pork belly slices. Some had lots of hair and some didn't.

I love my local Morrisons most of the staff are friendly and engaging... one young staff member attended to a disabled person with such kindness, respect and empathy when was in there on one of my previous occasions. Very personal for me .She should be part of training staff on how to be kind, aware and respectful as well as empathic

I am 25 weeks pregnant so even I wanted to go back to complain, I thought it’s best to report it here online. I have noticed that an item was added on my receipt of which I haven’t even purchased. It was only 70p but imagine my annoyance of paying something I did not buy or won’t be able to consume. She was trying to hurry me in packing up the items as I was paying on her till. It’s just saddening that I now have to be careful when shopping at my local stores.

Lady who works at deli never ever cut mortadella thinly even though she is instructed every time she can’t be bothered to do it unlike the guy with glasses who works at the deli and always is very kind. This is very frustrating because cutting the salami thinly is quite important for the taste and experience and this lady is always so lazy that it is outrageous that she doesn’t want to do such a small thing she is asked to and that is her job.

Picked up a multi pack of crisp whilst two workers were what looked like re stocking or labelling the area - for the lady to turn around and say to her colleague “I’m here for no reason” as I took an item off the shelf like I had annoyed her for doing so. Not the first time people who work here have been rude to me before. Terrible unprofessional service. Sad to say as I am a regular customer for over 15 years!

Was going to give it two but then because of rude service dropped it one. Went in at lunch time 12:30 and thought I would check out the food kitchens. The one I would have definitely fine to was closed, the vegan one. A couple of others were closed so I though I would check the food to go. Waste of time, boring, mundane offerings. But I picked up a plant based wrap with water and proceeded to the self service tills as I was not queuing at the one manned till at the counter. Oh, ALL the self service tills were closed, of course why would they be open at lunch time, the busy period for food to go. I suppose the self service tills were on break and popped over to the spoon pub for some decent grub. Well into the queue I went. One man serving and dealing with a lot of meal deals, people wanting cigarettes and lottery. However when someone did ask for a lottery he walked back to a closed till and pointed to a sign reading no lottery today as the machine was not working. That too probably went to the spoon for a spot of lunch. He did not say a thing to them, just rudely pointed as if to say " you should have read that and not asked me the question ". Well eventually I got to the front and he rung up my meal deal to go lunch (Not really a deal though is it). I gave him £5 and said thanks, he gave me £1.50 without a bye nor leave, not a word spoken. Sorry Morrison's this service is appalling and just makes people anti you.

It’s easy to access and has a large car park both up stairs and downstairs which is nice. Although, because of inflation, prices have gone up a bit but it’s not a large problem. It’s great for anything you need in the kitchen or anywhere else.

Wanted to buy alcohol which is all locked up and couldn't find anyone staff to help. Got overcharged and had a bit of a wait to pay. Called store about over charged item, couldn't get an answer. Not my local store so will have to make special trip soon to resolve my over charged item. Not impressed!! Good point, parking was easy!

Like the shop, it can be very busy, but my experience is being ruined by a very unprofessional security guard who is working there. He is a tall thin looking male, who always wears a hat, I have seen him aggressively speaking to other Morrisons workers at the tills, for some reason he follows me everytime I always go in, and makes me feel very uncomfortable, if I see this guy I will avoid your store unfortunately Edit: toilets are always closed! Why?

Why does it says it closes at 11pm when I just got there by 10:50pm and they said it was closed? Sort it Morrisons!!!
