Would NOT recommend. My partner booked this hotel for a date weekend for us and we ended up leaving the hotel right after we checked in. The pictures on the website does not reflect what you'll be getting. When I asked the receptionist about this, they replied, "Oh, it's because you have to specifically request the updated rooms." ???? The website does not suggest that there are any rooms that are not "updated". When asked to move rooms, they said they couldn't. When asked for a refund, they told us we'd have to speak with someone the following morning. We had to book another hotel at the LAST MINUTE in a city we are not from, in an area we were not familiar with. The next morning, we called requesting our refund, and was given ANOTHER individual we'd have to speak to..the NEXT day. So 2 days later, we finally spoke to someone and sent them pictures of the room we received, compared to the room we thought we were booking. This person said she'd have to speak to SOMEONE ELSE (the director, I believe) and also mentioned that even though we did not receive what we paid over $400 for, we might not be able to get a refund. Currently waiting for their reply to see how they handle the situation. Will add photos later.

Stayed here for one night. Great location, just off Kings Road. Excellent customer care by front of house staff. Sadly, the room we had was in desperate need of a makeover. The kitchen area and bathroom were very dated . There was green and black mould on the bathroom windows. The whole room was completely soulless. The bed was only a double but was comfortable, and the bedding was nice and also soft towels. It was nice to have the kitchen area. I did inform the reception team of my disappointment with the room . They told me that a lot of the apartments have been refurbished and in the future to ask for one of these when booking. I would advise to do that you also get free WiFi if you book directly and it's cheaper.

This place is amazing. It is very well located and the rooms are very comfortable. You’ll be able to do your laundry and cook with a fully equipped kitchen. The staff was very helpful, specially Kianni who helped us through our check-in. 10/10

Chelsea Cloisters??? More like Chelsea COCKROACHES!!!! Do not stay here by any means!! Disgusting rooms that do not look like the photos. The bathroom ceiling was falling apart and I feared for my life thinking it would land on my head. Abysmal service. Rude front desk staff that are vile and don’t take accountability for their actions. When confronted they walk away from you and call you the rude one. I frequently travel to London and beg of you to not stay here and allow this place to ruin your trip to this beautiful city. Please do not respond to this review with a generic message that begins with “Dear Guest”. You’re HORRENDOUS. Just own it

AVOID AVOID AVOID Booked months previously but on arrival was told we were not on the system, showed them our booking confirmation on which staff became very rude, one staff member Jack, got very aggressive! Manager was called and agreed to look at video footage and would contact us, we have heard nothing, worst customer service we’ve ever experienced

DO NOT STAY HERE! We had a terrible experience. Staff were rude and unaccommodating. The room was not the same as the pictures, and our washer/dryer did not work. Staff knocked on our door at all hours of the night. Plus, other guests were noisy and when we complained, nothing was done. We thought we booked a nice hotel but it felt like we were staying in a youth hostel. Terrible experience. Would not stay here again or ever recommend it to others.

My suitcase was kept in a locked room with my name written on it, but another family that was checking out took it with them. The people at Chelsea Cloisters took an hour to check the footage, and we almost missed our flight. The door was locked with a code and yet they didn’t check that they were giving someone else our luggage. Also, the kitchen is very small, hardly any space to stand. Do not recommend at all, terrible experience.

QJust don't stay here. It's that simple. Where do we even start! On arrival, having booked on Booking.com, my wife was told that there was no record of out booking. Fast out said it was nothing to do with them. We had booking reference and reservation number, and it was a no from reception. My wife was left in a wheelchair in reception and told by reception there was nothing they could do. They said to contact Booking.com. Now, I did try. But I didn't and couldn't get Booking.com on the phone. However, I told a staff member that I had and that Booking.com said our keys were at reception. That staff member flat out said that thus wasn't the case. Alas, an hour on they came to my wide and said that your husband was speaking with Booking.com and there was a technical error but they had found our booking. That meant they flay out lied and blamed their incompetence on Booking.com. Now, once in the room...its absolutely tiny. No blinds, just curtains. Paint peeling off the walls. There's no air conditioning, the fan in the bathroom sounds like a tractor. There's major building works next door and when we say major, it means no sleep to be had after 7am. The kitchenette is a disgrace. And WiFi is paid for separately! DO NOT STAY HERE. We paid 1500pounds for 5 nights and we'd rather have erected a tent on the footpath. The standard would have been better.

Initially the booking started out well. Upon arrival we were informed that our room had been upgraded from a studio to a suite. When getting to the room though, there were many sections of the suite that had paint peeling off walls in big patches and large amounts of mould on roof as well. We didn’t say anything about this to the staff. On our second day, we were told the room needed maintenance due to damages and had service men in the apartment for 5 hours so we had to leave. When we returned, the service men had used all our towels, leaving them filthy, and they left the bathroom dirty as well. We cleaned up the bathroom ourselves and went to ask the front desk for more towels as ours were now dirty. The front desk told us we were not entitled to more towels as we hadn’t been there for more than 6 days. It wasn’t until we told them what had happened that they handed over new towels. On our last day, we went out early in the morning and got stuck out in the city due to the tube/subway and train delays. As such we needed a last minute late check out. We called to ask for one and we were told we couldn’t pay for a late check out over the phone and had to pay for it in person. We tried our best to be back by checkout, but due to the delays and cancellations of public transport, we could not make it back in time. We did call a second time to advise what had happened. We were not met with any understanding, only annoyance and rude service. When we were able to make it back, our power and hot water were turned off despite paying for a late check out fee. This meant there was no heating, we couldn’t shower or charge our phones or anything before leaving. In addition to all of this, there were maintenance works happening in the room below us our entire stay, so there was constant disruptive noise. I’m not sure why our room was “upgraded” in the first place if all this was going on. We did not enjoy our stay or the service of your staff. My partner proposed to me during this trip and that’s what our stay in London was for, which I was unaware of. It would have been nice if the accomodation made the trip better rather than be a constant problem, especially because we travelled all the way from Australia for this occasion.

This place should receive 1.5 to 2 star rating rather than 3 star rating. No free parking (parking is at another place and shared with another company, £$40 per night), no wifi, no air con but small table fan provided, ventilation is poor especially summer times, rooms are old, things are old and things are rusty in the shower area. Dryer does not seem to work. Their lifts are super old and seems like it can break down at any time for both lifts. Location is far from the underground station. There are no nearby amenities except to walk out the the stations and travel out. Reception area looks nice but unfortunately, the stay in the hotel was bad.

We booked a one bedroom apartment but the room we’ve got wasn’t a one bedroom apartment. It was more likely a studio type. It looks very much different from pictures that they advertise. There was no door from room to living room area. It was very open plan so I don’t know what makes difference between studio and one bedroom apartment. When I went down to reception to get some explanation they just saying that they have different type of one bed room and I can’t really quite understand what they mean by that. Because it’s very clear to me that when people say one bed room that means it’s separate room with living room area with door. Also it was very moldy everywhere… I can’t really recommend to anyone to be honest. Very disappointed. They should make it clear the difference between the room types so customers won’t confuse like me.

Absolutely loved my stay at Chelsea Cloisters! From the moment I walked in, I was impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. The location couldn't be better – right in the heart of London with easy access to public transportation and iconic attractions. The room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped. I thoroughly enjoyed the amenities and services provided. Overall, a fantastic experience that I'd highly recommend to anyone visiting London. 5 out of 5 stars without a doubt!

I came early, asked for early checking willing to pay, the women in the front door was super welcoming and wanted to help but manager said that the early checking is not allow. They offered the luggage room, but I was trying to change my clothes in the toilet available for guest and the cleaning lady literally kicked me out of the bathroom, also she got offended because I asked how long she will take. I think cleaning public toilets at the time of check out, doesn’t make sense to me. I already paid my book but i would prefer pay a little more and have a better service.

The hotel rooms are renovated, but they are still dirty, especially the kitchen and bathroom, the sofa beds are the worst, the comforters and pillows have large yellow stains, the rooms are hot, there is no air conditioning, if you come here in summer, don't. You still have to charge for wifi. I don't understand. There was no room service, so you had to go to the front desk for a consultation. The staff were very good, but they were also very powerless.

Stayed here for 3 nights with some friends. Firstly, they charge the first nights fee as a deposit (then you pay again when you arrive) The woman at the reception greeted us with ‘if you check in and don’t like the room, there’s nothing we can do’ The rooms were substandard for the price in all honesty. Premier Inn does better! Needs a huge renovation, windows dirty, floors dirty and dust everywhere, bathrooms crawling with black mould. The location is good because it’s a 5 minute walk from buses and a underground train station. Wouldn’t stay here again unfortunately.

Rooms are well equipped, suitable for long or short stay cutlery etc in kitchen cabinets, no AC but it's always chilly, sometimes too cold so not needed (well in my room at least). Mini fridge, washer/dryer, cook top, toaster, kettle including house keeping.

Everything was fine. Except the smell in the room omg it’s horrible, very noisy like there is a party all day long. The check out: No one told me at what time, I assumed 10 from 9am some people came again and again to check if I left, Guys calm down. I wanted to leave the luggage to grab a coffee the two Russian girls were very rude, it was a total catastrophe there in the desk. Done book there just pay a bit more and you will probably say to me thank you.

The room smelt like sewage, I couldn't walk in without feeling the need to throw up. When I spoke to the staff in the evening, they were not helpful at all and couldn't even move me to another room (there were others free). Staff were also very rude and abrupt to a friend of mine. There are much better options available and for a better price, I wouldn't recommend booking here.

Had a nice stay. Welcomed by very friendly and service minded staff. Room was large, with nice beds. Needs better ventilation, bathroom is very humid long after a shower and quite a bit of condensation on the windows. Old windows let a fair bit of noise in. Close to underground and other transport options, and there are great restaurants nearby.

Bit dated on outside but reception was modern. Rooms are modest size and well heated during our stay in December. Decor plain but had everything we needed for our 2 night stay. Location excellent, walking distance from Museum district, Hyde Park and Harrods. Great bus links to Oxford Street, Carnaby Street, Soho (no. 74) from Brompton road.

To sum up my experiences The good the bad and ugly Starting with the good, the lady who checked me in was very friendly and helpful as the window in my room didn't close properly I told her and she said she'll get maintenance to fix it right away The cleaning staff were lovely also The Bad the windows were not double glazed, so any noise from the streets at night you could hear i was on the 5th floor, I could hear some kinda of noise in the bathroom, which might have been mice or rat as I read other people seeing them. i myself didn't The wifi is very poor and keeps cutting out every 5 minutes. i just ended up using my mobile data, and i got it for free as ivwas staying for a week and definitely wouldn't pay for it Random visitors are coming in and out even at 7 am, knocking on someone's door, which the woman took 30 minutes to open. i could hear them shouting her name loudly And then the Ugle.. having a security guy shouting at me across the hallway while he was behind the front desk, i was heading towards the elevators. This was on the 6th day of my stay, the security guy shouting at me, asking me if I'm staying here? About 3 times i didn't even realise he was shouting at me at frist when i did i had to walk over to him and i just showed him my key and walked away as i was so embarrassed, as no one else got questioned or stop not even delivery people I sent a WhatsApp message they said oh he was only asking because people been knocking people's doors, I'm 42 years old, i wasn't dressed like a person who's running around playing knock door run, and they have cctv in the corridors so they can tell who's doing it so i knew they was lying The only difference between me and everyone else in that hallway was the colour of my skin. Maybe i was too brown for his liking I then emailed them they changed their story to oh its just routine to ask visitors, I replied back asking is it normal to shout across the hall to ask and do i look like I'm going around knocking people's doors at my age and what was the reason he thought i wasn't a paying guest they didn't reply back I wouldn't go back here again even if it was free

The bar in the middle of the court is often SUPER NOISY and DISTURBING at night, not covered with windows or curtains or even turning on some sounds. Would want some soundproof measure to protect residents and guests from those noise. Can't the outdoor space be limited somehow? I better want to be appreciated as someone who wants to take rest in my own room.

Super convenient location, super uncomfortable bed. My stay at this hotel was only 3 night and I must say the room was very well cleaned. The actual bed, however, is probably the least comfiest I've ever had, I managed to steep very little. Single glazed windows are unfortunately not the greatest for a London hotel stay, but I assume they can't be changed due to the structure of the building or something. All in all I'd say it's alright for a short term business stay but wont be my first choice going forward.

I've stayed here a couple of times and every time I go I am surprised by the great rooms. They are actually just small apartments. Clean. Lovely and simple furniture. Great service.

This was our first time in London. We did not like this apartment. Tiny wee ants everywhere and it was too hot. The bedroom windows were locked. The living windows opened thank God. The pull out couch was comfortable but once open, it took up all the space. The double bed was very uncomfortable. This apartment was very old and run down. The view was of other very close apartments. Reminded me of 1950’s eastern block cities. If you have to live or have an extended stay in London, the location is good. Otherwise, spend a bit more and enjoy your short stay.

You get what you pay for, and entering the rowdy, dowdy reception with trepidation I was slightly concerned about my likely experience. However the staff were charming and efficient and my room was newly decorated, very clean and smelled great, which is not always the case when you have a kitchen in a room. It's quite a lively hotel but very well located and reasonably priced if you can get one of their many deals

Very nice alternative location to stay at, especially for a long period of time. The rooms are well divided, so having many people sleeping here is good. The kitchen is also very nice. It’s probably the best part of the rooms, especially for people staying a long time and needing to save a bit of money by cooking in-house. Additionally, the proximity to the underground station and plenty of places to visit and eat at is a good bonus too. Only issues we had were with parts of the room and building being a bit outdated and the fact it was way too warm in the building and rooms. It was at best 20C outside, but the building and rooms easily felt double that! So be prepared for the heat! Other than those, it was a great stay.

On the pricey side, but it’s in a very good area that is closed to almost every traction within walking distance. Rooms are clean. But I’ll have to mention that the building is definitely old and it’s showing it’s age.

Lovely private apartment with its own washing/drying machine. The girls at reception were very helpful with info about transport in the area. The hotel was close to the V&A, natural history museum and others. A Sainsbury’s down the street to stock up. Only problem was the noisy neighbours st night.

Honestly the nicest apartment i have ever stayed in, rooms are very well decorated, the bathroom is lovely, plenty of space in the living room including a comfy sofa bed- i couldn't of asked for a nicer interior for such a low price in a particularly nice area too.The staff are so kind, helpful and will go above and beyond to accommodate your needs. Jacques one of the staff made my stay absolutely amazing, really really thoughtful and kind hearted man and will ensure you feel safe and any problems you may have WILL be sorted (from giving us extra time to leave , to letting us stay in the lobby till we was ready to go, gave us additional things in our room upon request, and will store your items safely even after you check out) he went above and beyond to ensure i had the best stay and he did :)thank you so much for making my stay in London very enjoyable i definitely recommend this apartment.

5 stars is not high enough for our stay at this hotel. The staff are very friendly and engaging making you feel very welcome. A big thank you to Ralph, Kieron and Sam who went above and beyond to make our stay a truly unforgettable experience. The room was excellent and if you were wanting to chill for the evening the rooms have full cooking facilities, fridge and washing machine. It feels like home from home. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. On our 2nd day there was a slight glitch with the water temperature but as soon as Ralph the manager was made aware it was dealt with immediately and when we returned from our day excursions we had piping hot water. The location is fantastic for visiting the local museums and it's just a short ride on the bus or tube into central London for the theatre and attractions. The price of the stay is very competitive and we will definitely be staying again.

What truly set this place apart was the outstanding service from the staff. They were not only accommodating but also genuinely friendly, going above and beyond to address all our queries. A special mention is due to Nadia, whose patience and hospitality left a lasting impression. I am already eagerly looking forward to revisiting and, without hesitation, recommending this establishment to anyone seeking a memorable and comfortable stay. It's a gem in every sense, and our experience here has set a high standard for future accommodations.

We have been here during last January on a business. Which last for 19 days.Back again from 26 February up to now.we enjoyed from being here with an excellent location. The daily service for cleaning and good amenities. Kind people are in service and whatever we need something they provide it as soon possible. Although the double bed is a bit small for tow; I recommend this aparthoteh to everyone. Who looks for a covenant place.
