Awesome foods. Loved the taste. Must try the chicken biriyani. Friendly staffs.

One of the best south Indian/Sri Lankan food places. Have a lot of varieties of snacks and main food. Cheap and variety of choices. Vegetarian and non-vegetarian options are available. Looks fresh. I always see this place is crowded and busy but a lot of staff is available to serve, so the queue is moving quickly. For South Indian food it is a good choice.

Always having stomach upset when we bought from sambal. Most of the food is reused expect the snack items. Hopefully the things will change with food quality

ABSOLUTE RUBBISH! Ordered palaharam for a wedding and they were short 30 for all 5x items that we ordered! The manager then had the courtesy to accuse us of eating the missing! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT! I would WHOLE HEARTEDLY NOT RECOMMEND THEM for any events…. To avoid any issues like this happening to anyone else! Feel absolutely CHEATED!… there comment when stating it was missing, “well we can’t do anything” even though they admitted they did not count the items before handing over to a paying client!

food is average especially if you have been to sri lanka, however the concern is over what they charge for it....will defo not return and stick to freshly cooked sl food from nearby taste of asia..honestly look at the chicken leg....sooo small! not worth it sorry....makes me want to run to rahema from colombo...those are good memories...

Excellent Sri Lankan style food. There are various takeaway food items from string hoppers, kottu, fried rice, curry options, rolls etc.. The shop is clean and well maintained. Staff seems to be helpful although it can get crowded & busy. I ordered 50 pack of string hoppers for £6 which comes with coconut sambal and Kiri hodi. Also brought some mutton rolls, egg rolls, fish patties and fish buns. Food was very tasty and value for the money. Highly recommended Asian/Sri Lankan style takeaway. if you are in London definitely should check it out.

Fantastic little place, a hidden gem in South Harrow. Food is always great tasting and fresh. Their vegetable rice with 3 curry’s is just superb. I also love their fresh orange juice and teas.

thambi what a absolute magnificent rolls and vaadai they sell i went back with my kole pamily to get the chamocha and da rolls. Absolutely maginfichent. I hear they are opening in more location all i can say is "I'm waiting"'-Thalapathy Vijay

Lamb briyani rice they made just add the rice and lamb curry nothing else chicken noodles is horrible and chicken briyani rice and kottu Roty is very spicy

Honestly, I really did enjoy these tiny idiyappam/string hoppers for the extortionate price I paid :))) Sambal Express - if you're going to put the prices up, at least keep the idiyappam the same sizer or larger. This is a rip off to the Tamil community who are keeping your business alive.

Food is very tasty but had to wait a bit longer for food to be served. Also the place was quite cold and needed to be heated up better . Dhosa and idli were tasty as always and so was the devilled paneer. A bit spicy but very tasty paneer.

I have been going to Sambal for about 7yrs or so. What I have been witnessing lately was that this place is deteriorating. The staff were unprofessional and rude. The place was very dirty. The food quality also gone down. They used to have nice polite staff. Very heart breaking though, as it's used to be a nice friendly place.

This is only take-away shop in London charging for Carrier bags. They provide plastic bags, if they care about environment, they should provide paper bags.. it’s strange business approach.

There are a lot of these takeaways catering for the Tamil diaspora. The mutton roll averaged one piece of mutton in each roll and the taste was awful. Not a proper curry mix. The same applies to the mutton roti and chicken samosa. How they got Tamil staples so badly wrong is beyond me. My advice is that they change the chefs. We will not be returning, there are far better alternatives.

Really tasty Sri Lankan food take away. The best Rgg rolls ever and best chocolate icing cake.. those are our favourites. They have also Sri Lankan bread.. roast pan..rice and curries.. Drinks like cream soda or necto..

I had a disappointing experience with this restaurant's customer service with an employee named Mr.Kumar. I placed an order for koththu and requested to pay for the gravy, but the employee refused and even after requesting to speak to a manager, I was told there was no manager available. To make matters worse, my food was thrown away and my order was not fulfilled. This level of customer service is unacceptable and I would not recommend this restaurant to others.

Excellent staff (especially Stella). We had Onam Sadya Special Lunch, it was simply awesome, authentic, tasty and reminded us of food in Kerela.

Unsure if this is what really is supposed to happen but all the food we ordered was freezing. We rang to ask or complain and the lady who answered said she could not understand what my partner was saying (even though he was speaking perfect english) and hung up the phone on him. When I rang back, they said that all their food is served cold. Just FYI for anybody who expects hit food.

I have been ordering food for take-away from Sambal Express South Harrow for over five years. I have found the quality of the food to be consistently outstanding, and really appreciate the professionalism and friendliness of the staff at this branch of Sambal Express. Being Sri Lankan in origin myself, I am very grateful to be able to eat Sri Lankan food here in London that is authentic and which brings back wonderful memories of home. im very empressed by the staff at Sambal express south harrow branch. especially staff member Jalini and the manager Krishna. They are friendly and helpful. I am also very impressed by the quality and hygeine of the food. A special mention to the condensed milk tea prepared by Jalini which is amazing. The range from spicy to mild is there to cater to everyone. whenever i pass through south harrow i always make sure i pop in. All the best. Thank you

I have been a customer of Sambal Express for many years and I keep coming here because firstly their quality of food is very good and secondly their customer service is exceptional! The staff are very friendly and always welcoming. Their prices are also very reasonable and they seem to have a variety of Sri Lankan food. It's a very clean take away place as well.

I have been visiting since it was opened, and served by many. The members of staff were courteous specially Stella , who is polite, friendly and the service was with a smile. Once I was overcharged and she recified the situation.

I had a really poor customer service experience with a person named Sajitha at Sampal Express. I ordered a Sri Lankan sarbath, and she was extremely rude, not even offering a smile. She arrogantly informed me that they had run out of sarbath, despite me noticing another customer receiving the same order from another worker. This was quite disappointing, as I am a regular customer In that shop .

On 24th Jan 2024 I purchased a sweet items and this was completely dry and not soft at all. When I did ask the quality the staff reply was I should tase and check it’s not something Sambal will check the quality of the food they sell. So management expects customer responsibility to check the quality f the food? I strongly advice the all customers we should stand up for Sambal business policy
