Great shopping experience. The restaurant provides good quality food at very reasonable price. Membership card is required to enter, membership is charged annually. Ample car parking space, 3 hours free parking. Toilet is available. There is an exit receipt checking in operation.

First time here. Loved it. large selection of meats and veg, and kitchen products for good prices. Lots of variety of items. You can buy a tree, a treadmill and wine...all in one store! Large crowd on a Sunday but Isles are wide and found parking with nobody either side. Trolley was packed but because the rear wheels are static and only the front turns it is easy to steer. staff super friendly at the door, met an old friend working there as well. Other customers will give advice if you are not too sure about a product. They have one person packing at the till and one person scanning so got through quicker than any supermarket I've cared to visit in 10years. I normally use asda scan and go app so this was a pleasant surprise. Will try to get my own card and go again

My favourite one stop for all my household stuff like toilet rolls, kitchen towels, soap, antibacterial wipes, cleaning products and tissues. I also get my eggs and cereal from there. Only when they have offers otherwise you could end up paying more. Their rotisserie chicken is my quick dinner fix with salad and peri peri sauce! Before making my way there I always check on Google to see how busy the place is. I tend to go late in the evening to avoid crowds.

Nice to go when slightly quieter. Good variety of produce and if you know what you're looking for you can always compare prices. Clothing deals can be really great if you are on the ball. I've rarely been disappointed when going to Costco and was very happy with my purchases on this occasion too! Pictures are not of my actual purchases but if items currently in store.

The store very clean and tidy and well stocked. The food is very fresh. I love the cakes, fruit and the meat. You can get food and household goods at an reasonable price, some very good offers available. I went to renew my membership and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking you have to wear masks while in the store. Worth a visit.

Attended Croydon on Friday 8th Sept in the evening. The store was very busy, however, the queuing system was terrible. It appeared to have 3 very long queues running through the middle of the store but if you were in the know, you could sneek round to the left side of the store and find 3 queues with 5 or less waiting to be served. Really, it needs someone to take control and disturb those queuing so everyone is treated fairly. Went to the food service counter, they had a good selection of food considering it was around 8.30pm. However the tables were full of used cups, plates and old pizza boxes -, not very inviting to sit down and eat. If you were willing to clear the table, you had a slight problem - the rubbish bins were full (except one by the tyre shop). Once the table was clear, you had nothing to wipe the food remains from the table top - no wipes, no spray, and the napkins were nearly empty. During the 35 minutes in the food area, no member of staff was seen near the tables of rubbish bins. I usually use Thurrock, if this is the standards at Croydon - I will stay at Thurrock! Come on Costco - get your act together

Has plenty of stock and good produce. Was there on a Sunday afternoon and the till lines were not managed at all, rather hectic. Will try during the week. The membership staff were top notch and very helpful though.

Very good and professional staff , they make you feel welcomed. So many bargains here. But don't buy what you don't need because it's cheap otherwise you will end up throwing them away. I love their Kirkland water, 40 bottles of 500ml for less than £4

Very conflicting experiences shopping here.. my husband and i both have cards and at one point my husband handed my card, instead of his at the entrance whilst he was there making a call. It was snatched off him and cut up in an extremely bizarre experience.. my husband was fuming he wasn’t even able to show his own card or explain that I was in the store, as we had gone in together and he waiting at the entrance because of phone signal! Another time I got to the checkout and the seal of a fish product I had picked up had broken so I asked if I could leave the item.. the cashier was almost forcing me to take it I explained, I lived an hour away so wasn’t comfortable taking it I felt so uncomfortable.. as he insisted repeatedly for me to take it.. both times we complained and like any other place.. got the standard response and no one cared.. you can’t stop shopping here due to the nature of the shop but bear in mind.. you’ll come across all sorts of customer service agents.. other times customer service has been amazing and normally it’s the younger staff that are nicer and much more friendly.

This has to be the rudest Costco I have been around the world. As the picture shown, I was walking pass the wine display. The worker on site was going to take out a tray of wine from the base, I happen to walking pass a section next to where he works. Instead of waiting for me to walk pass, he literally shouted at me, excuse me. That is very rude. If he does not want people to walk pass, he should have cordoned the area. If someone wants to walk by and have a look at the wine on the purpose to purchase, he should have waited. 5 seconds do not delay his life.

Great deals, always busy and I'd recommend not going on a weekend including a Friday because the car park and queues are ridiculous. Take a list so you remember what you went in there for as you'll be tempted by things on offer. The hot food to buy is such a bargain, my cousin bought a hot dog and large refill drink for £1.50 and told me the pizza slices are the size of a plate so for that alone Costco is a great place to shop for your bulk buy goods

Busy Costco but very well staffed so shopping is still easy. Seasonal products beginning to be stocked.

I love the different items you get there all year round, but there is something we buy on each visit the costco Rotisserie chicken, which you can't beat anywhere. The hot dog and drink are great value. I have been going to Costco for years, firstly at Thurrock, and then when Croydon opened their and have always had good service from the staff at both places helpful and friendly. Tyres and batteries are also good. The bakery is so good cookies and muffins are the best and value for money and even great after freezing . The only thing with Costco is if you see something you like, buy it, then as they may not get it in again, but I would say that is the only downside I found in Costco.

Well run branch of Costco in Croydon. Shelves restocked regularly. Needs a manager to police the queues for the checkouts. This is Croydon after all and things can get a bit confrontational unless the back of the queue is your friend:)

We usually visit on a Sunday morning when it gets busy pretty quickly. Especially after local church services have finished. However, we recently had the chance to go on Friday afternoon and it was a lot quieter. Managed to get round in half the time and had next to no wait at the tills.

Our first visit to any Costco. Good speed of creating our membership. This place was rammed! I don't know if it's like this daily. Spencer served us and was polite and smiley. We did go a little wild with our spending! It helped that it was our first visit I guess, with all the excitement of produce that you may not normally see or the quality/bulk of produce. My son came away crying after the takeaway food server mentioned to the people in the Q, there were no more Hot dogs! But he'll get one next time presumably. Their deli sandwich of Chicken and cheese pesto was delicious. Prices of some products seemed a too much and some seemed quite food. I guess that's pretty much standard but this is just a different scale. Do different stores have different stock? that remains to be seen! I have taken a few sample photos of some of the products we purchased. As you may notice the easy peepers were massive compared to standard supermarket sizes, and although we didn't purchase any, the Kiwi's also looked huge in comparison. We will be coming again.

I don't normally do big shopping outlets as the anxiety levels shoot up. However, going to Costco on a Friday evening was sublime! The staff were very friendly and helpful, hardly any queues, and some good prices. I can do this again!

I enjoy shopping there. It’s always busy especially this time of year, but I enjoy looking around the store as there’s so much to see

I love the costco prices, food,etc.. the part that customers who utilise the parking have to realise is its easy to get a parking ticket and by the time you pay it you may as well go to a regular supermarket.I am a blue badge holder so it takes a bit more time. This day it was raining and parking was crazy to get first of all.Being the first time going to Costco I sat down and ate and feed my infant daughter, I then explored the store.By the time I got done at the tills and checking at the door the time was gone for parking.I feel its a scam because no one goes to Costco to small shop usually. So I figured how they get you is parking fees.

Great warehouse. Has own bakery with a lot of cakes. You are able to buy birthday cake. Good variety of fresh fruits and vegetables. Also, fresh meat and fish are available.

A big fire next door started Friday night and the store was closed all day Saturday. No updates. No signs. Website incorrect and Twitter feed silent. The fire brigade tweeted several times about the fire. Massive queues turned away with no advance warning. I drove 70 miles for nothing. Furious

Excellent store, well laid out, good atmosphere, very high ceilings improved breathing space, clean toilets, some staff are helpful & some are not, depends on who you come across. Prices are slightly higher compared to high street supermarkets, parking area is huge but mostly full so be prepared to go around in circles looking for a space, biggest issue is at closing time there are huge queues & extremely long waits so be prepared if you’re shopping near to closing times.

Lots stuff to spend one’s money. Excellent for bulk buying as well as for the average household. One can get carried away with buying. Prices do not always show VAT. I love shopping here.

If you like to bulk buy, then this could well be the place for you. There are multiple product genres available from food, drink, clothing, electrical, motor and more. If you shop smart, you can really save some money in the long term. I also heartily recommend their own products under the Kirkland brand, which are top quality and are very competitively priced.

Recently became a member and spent a reasonable amount for an upcoming event. Found that there was a good selection of food and necessities. Not everything seemed to be that much cheaper but there were lots of great products there. I like the sample stations as well, great opportunity to try some of the products! Good system at the checkout, went on a Saturday and even though it was busy, didn’t feel that the wait was very long. Cheap food at the end after a long shopping trip is very tempting!

Very large seems bigger than Thurrock similar but different layout. Seems there is a disconnect between products advertised in Connection magazine and what’s in store May/June issue some products not available yet but staff very helpful on phone and in store some confusion re actual appearance dates though. But good shop will need to return for connection item or try and catch it when released online

Good for shopping if buying in bulk, good quality even their own Kirkland brand. Gets busy at times but you still get through to the checkout quite quickly. Overall gr8 place to shop for most things, food electrical goods, clothing alcohol, everything you'll find in a supermarket plus more.

Its my go to place for bulk buying! Great for sticking up on dry goods (I get rice, pasta, pantry stuff and herbs). Massive selection of meats for batch cooking. Also good for stocking up on toothpaste/shampoo etc.

Great not only for bulk buying but you must have a membership or shop with someone who does. A wide variety of products - households, consumables (fresh, dried & frozen), appliances, clothing, books, plants, electronics & tech etc. A very straightforward place to shop. There may be queues depending on when you shop but never too much of a long wait.
