Usually, I don't go to Wetherspoons, but here I have made an exception. And it was worth it. This was probably the cleanest and prettiest Wetherspoon that I have ever seen so far. Great selection of the beer on tap. Especially IPAs. The food was ok. I appreciated the outdoor space. Nicely situated in the back, quiet and well kept. The staff was friendly, fast and helpful.

Nice big pub that I suppose is really a typical 'spoons. Nice and clean with booths down one side and a beer garden out the back. The Guinness was good as was the Doom Bar. And in a side note, the name of the pub is reflected in the carpet.

I came here yesterday Sat (23/12/23) for the first time with my friend. And I say this was the best experience ever! We came around 10 pmish and they still managed to serve us food. The fish and chips were soooo great. The fish was nice and crispy yet moist inside 😋 the server also managed to recommend me a red wine as I’ve never tried wine before. (I already forgot the name of it 😅) and that was great too!! The staff here are soooo friendly as well. We’ll definitely come back here again!!

We come here today with a family of 4 for lunch and sadly we was very disappointed. We all know what we get with Wetherspoons, but today was well below par. Firstly when using the app deciding what the family wanted it seems that everybody’s first choice was out of stock and even there second choice! It took so long to decide what to eat as they had hardly anything in stock. On the children’s menu there was no pizzas or chicken available and on the adult menu there was no salad or boneless chicken available! The menu is very restrictive for customers who need a gluten free options too. After finally choosing something that was in stock, (the small brunch), when it did arrive the beans, egg and bacon were stone cold. After messing about for so long with the menu we just wanted to eat what we could and leave. To top it off my daughter ordered a side of chips that didn’t arrive either until I had to go to the bar and ask for them. Overall we won’t be returning to the moon and stars and should be renamed, because there’s no stars here!

Food were good and IPA beers were fantastic. They have a huge range of beers but lessee on the food although there were still good amount of choices. The main thing is that food were extremely affordable! 2 pizzas, nachos, ravioli and 2 beers at only 25pounds!

We visited on Sunday afternoon and the pub was quite busy. We managed to find a booth and ordered on the app. The drinks arrived quickly, followed by the food. The food was hot, fresh and a good portion. Well done Wetherspoons, we will be back!

Great place for breakfast though I think I've eaten my last Quorn sausage (the veggie breakfast would still be good value without them). Coffee very good and with free refills, though I've only ever managed two mugs over my crossword. Haven't tried it for beer but good range and amazing prices. Used the app for the first time today and spookily the server arrived with the mug for my coffee almost as soon as I had finished ordering. Further visits confirm my potential addiction

Essen und Getränke sind verhältnismäßig für London sehr günstig. Kaffee sehr gut.

Absolutely love it. Raised dining area, long bar, family booths and little nooks and crannies for anti-social types like me. This will be my new regular when my current one closes, and I'm starting the transition now. Firmly established now as my go-to Spoons

I don't do negative reviews, but .... Monday night - no cider on draught. All pumps were off. Bottled cider was weak and not good. Tuesday night - my wife tried the new Ramen noodle bowl, which was described as "very mild"; it wasn't! It was far spicier than my curry. When my wife pointed that out to the staff, their first response was 'well, we cannot change it'. Very poor response. I ended up eating it and it was very spicy. Just look at online reviews for yourself; she wishes had! Staff said 'we'll let HQ know', which was no good for us. No customer service approach at all.

This pub is a very friendly place. The food is good quality, I had the American breakfast and was pleased to find the sausages were very tasty. It's a comforting space in the individual table nooks. The drinks came immediately and the food arrived not long after. It's child friendly and the prices are very competitive. Thoroughly recommended.

Not been in here before. The food was really nice and each item comes with a drink, which I'd wish I'd known before getting a drink and sitting down to look at the menu. There's a weekday discount too. Portion size was good The pub is surprisingly large inside with lots of seating options

I do not drink, but getting pub-grub is some of the best food in Britain. The manager special was phenomenal! it was probably the best value for food we saw in London.

I drove past here some time back and thought the next time I would go for lunch, so last weekend I brought my sister. Sadly we missed the Breakfast menu as we around around one Saturday afternoon and let me say it was buuuuuuuuuuuuuuusy. I like that they also has booths, and we where about to get one, there was lots of seating, I notice someone was working on their laptop in one of the booths, so work friendly also We had to await a little for table to be clean, that may be because it was a very time. My sister went to the bar and placed the order, and they even completed my request of having bake beans with my fish, instead of peas. The food came promptly and was cooked and presented well, they also had free refills for hot drinks, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Good desert choices also They have a very good range on their menu, you let them know of any diet conditions you have, regarding dairy, and gluten. I would recommend here to eat, I will be making another trip back very soon

the food was good, I ordered a vegan burger, my friends had meat + drinks, the total cost was over 100f, the service was not nice and the waiters were very nice.

Love this place. I am in a wheelchair following a stroke and this place made me feel ordinary again. I could go out without feeling awkward. Good food and drink. Staff are very helpful

This is the best Wetherspoons in the chain. The staff are amazing and regularly arrange charity events for local charities. It has an old school local feeling from a national chain. The staff, food and locals make this a lovely family friendly environment.

Didn't eat food. Atmosphere usual mix of the desperate and the bargain-shopper. Actually asked for money by one chap, which is a first within a 'spoons for me. The pint of Abbot I bought was incredibly cheap for London (Penge) at about £2.49 and notably delicious, with a subtle aftertaste of warm milk I'd forgotten it has when well-kept. If you have the chicken and bacon salad and San Miguel you can't go wrong, but avoid talking to strangers.

Good pub, unlike some spoons it's been done up decently and has a reasonably large beer garden at the back. Would recommend.

Nice pub visit on a Wednesday afternoon. Wheelchair accessible with lots of seating choices and the ability to order from your table. I wouldn't choose to go here at busy times or for a night out but for a wheelchair-friendly (most independent places locally aren't unfortunately) midweek bite to eat and drink it's perfectly fine. Food was served quick, hot and staff were friendly.

Nice tidy pub with a pleasant beer garden, and a big surprise a flourishing colony of Sparrows, I haven't seen them in years. Brilliant.

This place has a lot of things right, great selection of ales, and never really changes. The staff are pleasant, over covid the addition of an outside space was great although there are one or two trip hazards outside. It could do with an update. A little dark but it has characters.

Had a couple of beers in here one Friday evening during October 2021. Staff were hospitable and with a pint of Fosters coming in at £2.99 that's fair dinkum. Can't argue with that.

I had a curry and it was lovely with a huge piece of naan bread and a poppadoms. Was freshly cooked also. Service was slow and pub could be cleaner but very good value for money.

Drinks very good value decided to have a meal. We were a party of 4. The gammon and eggs meal was good the sirloin meal was bit grizzly the burger meal was served with a burnt burger and my meal was a miniature steak and kidney pudding lumpy gravy mega load of funny tasting peas. Won't be ordering food again.

like the food and cheap beers, but they never seem to have any vegan offerings always OUT of STOCK, why us it always out of stock? if they keep selling out, there must be a demand, here's a good idea, order more.

Popped in after taking friend for medical appointment. Had fish & chips with drink (my Doom Bar was on 99p special: seemed rude not to accept!). Pub was clean & clientele were kept separate so no health issues to worry about. Definitely expect to return again soon!

Busy ‘Spoons when I went there on a Saturday afternoon. I sat near the rear and could see that the garden seemed large and that it had a separate smoking area at the back of it. I had the grilled halloumi cheese with sweet chilli sauce wrap with chips and a pint of Doom Bar for £7.45. All good stuff. Probably shouldn’t have had the chips though as the wrap was filling enough. Gents Toilets were in a mess apparently so gave them a miss.

Unbelievable value. Main, dessert and drink for 2 for £15

Ordered the gammon and it wasn't cooked through, could tell on it being delivered it looked under, but after a bite it was clear it was not cooked. Upon noticing this, my daughter then looked at her burger, which was still pink in the middle. When I complained I got eye rolls and no semblance of any apology from the waitress or manageress. I even said "sorry to complain, but...". This was after having to wait for our table to be cleared of the previous incumbents mess for over 30 minutes because the floor staff were too busy talking at the end of the bar or texting. Very disappointed to say the least.

I've been going to the Moon & Stars with my family for years and it's been a good experience. Unfortunately, I went a week ago and I was disappointed... The menus on the bar were drenched in drinks (we got our food at the bar before getting a table), we then went outside to the garden to sit down/eat (which has had a really nice revamp in the last few years!) and we met with a family of mice hiding in the bushes quick close to our table (I counted at least 6) - I didn't know whether to laugh or scream...

Usually avoid Wetherspoons however this visit was a must! Enjoyed the 3 for £12.95 plates and some drinks to accompany. In particular Jordan I believe had great customer service offered us extra straws and ice when we ordered our drinks. We will be back soon!

Ordered food from here (burgers) only to be told after asking for ketup that they didn't have any. We then asked for a refund which they agreed to but they tried to charge for the soft drinks which comes with the meal but we're untouched. We did eventually get a full refund after showing them our drinks hadn't been touched. They should make it clear if they haven't got the condiments, before ordering.

Food and drinks are of a reliably high standard, and service via the app is prompt and courteous. However, the female bar staff are rather, well, LOUD. I really don't need to hear their personal concerns at high decibels, especially the "he said, she said" stuff and detailed psychoanalysis of colleagues. I'd gladly up the star rating if they were to button it.

We walked in and Claire was the host with the most. Uplifting funny personally. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Good food and reasonably priced drinks. However most aspects of customer service are TERRIBLE due to inexperienced poorly trained staff and deplorable management.
