I have had exactly the same experience as others have posted here. The order never arrived and no one ever answers the phone. Avoid this place at all costs and order from a reputable restaurant instead. As I paid through PayPal I was able to get a full refund. It still doesn't make up for the inconvenience these jokers have caused. Absolutely despicable. Papa John's GB should strike off this franchise.

The food took over an hour and a half to be delivered after ordering. I ordered the food at 8.25pm thinking it would arrive around 9pm. The food arrived at 10pm. SO LATE. I just wanted to go to sleep and cancel the order. I called the restaurant 4 times the hour and a half, each time the person on the phone would say the driver has left but clearly he hadn't. The food when arrived wasn't even hot. Really REALLY poor. The customer service on the phone was really unhelpful too, they had a terrible attitude and kept asking me to wait whilst they answered other phone calls. Disappointed massively.

Absolute joke I ordered at 17.11 online three pizzas after 50 mins the website said enjoy your food as if it was delivered, it was not! I had to ring 8 times before someone eventually answered the phone and said that the driver had just left then nearly 40 mins later still hasn’t been delivered and I am currently attempting to ring the restaurant for the tenth time while I type this out. If I could give it no stars I would. Should be ashamed of yourselves I will be asking for a refund if our food ever turns up! Poor customer service and after waiting this long I’m sure it will turn up (if it does at all) cold. Edited. Pizza turned up at 19.14 and was cold I want a refund five very unhappy children not to mention mum and dad!!

I'm always anxious about ordering pizza from here for delivery because of the uncertain delivery times (the longest waiting time was 2 and a half hours). This time though I placed the order 21:43 on a Friday night and 20 minutes later I had hot pizza sitting on my kitchen counter. The driver was also nice, and he kindly asked me to leave a good review if I liked the service . Fingers crossed the improvements will last because this pizza is really tasty!

“Unhelpful in any way shape and form and will just take your money when it is there mistake! DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE!!” Ordered a pizza at 10,40 pm on the app, to be told it was delivered at 11.15 even no there was no pizza as I kept checking at my door. So I called the shop several times in a row to confirm pizza was still on its way,to realise the shop shuts at 11.00 pm. So as you can imagine I am now thinking my pizza will not arrive tonight as shop is closed and it states on the app that my pizza has been delivered, so I was understanding that mistakes happen and I will sort the refund out the next day. So I ordered from another food place, my pizza then arrives at 11,51 pm at my door with no excuse why it’s late , but my other food was 5 mins away ,so I politely explained to the driver what had happened and showed him pictures of the app showing it had been delivered at 11.15,he told me he understood where I was coming from and it would not be a problem just speak to the shop tomorrow! So as Clarified with the drive the night before,I rung the shop the next day to sort out refund ,to be told that because I turned food away it’s now down to me to cover the cost of the food. The only reason it was turned away was due to your lack of communication with a pay customer. PICTURES OFF ORDER AND DELIVERY TIME ATTACHED TO THIS REVIEW!! I ordered my pizza at 10.40 pm the shop closes at 11.00 pm and my pizza turned up at 11.51 pm who thinks your delivering at pizza at that time??? When the app states it was delivered already. CAN SEE WHY YOU HAVE SUCH A LOW RATING ON TRIPADVISOR WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THE SHOP AGAIN!! CON ARTISTS!! RIP OFF’S! SCAM!

BEWARE!!! **NEVER ORDER HERE!!** They are FRAUD!! CHEAT!! I had the worst experience, pizza was never delivered, but tracker status was updated as delivered and charged me. Left me in hunger, anger and frustration. The store never picked the call, which makes them even more suspicious.

Food was delivered 1 hour 40 minutes after ordering despite our house being less than 10 minutes away and being told to expect our food within the hour. We were then offered another free order after complaining and guess what......... it turned up 30 minutes late and is stone cold, once again unenjoyable and not worth paying or waiting for. This branch needs new management 🙄 Never ordering from that branch again.... terrible food standard and unacceptable delivery times from what is essentially a fast food delivery service 😕

Pizza showed up with multiple hairs all over it. I phoned the branch and the refused to offer a refund, saying they can only replace the pizza (why would I want another pizza from a place with such poor hygiene practices). Still waiting to see if head office provide a refund.

Love coming here! Great customer service and their vegan pizza is the best I’ve ever tasted! Better than anywhere else. The restaurant is clean and there is a table to sit on while you wait for your order. The manager (I think it’s spelt Sherie) is lovely too- warm and friendly. We ordered from them a few weeks ago for my kids party and the order arrived bang on the dot. Not 1 minute late so we are really grateful to have them round the corner from us. Thanks so much once again!

pizza cold and took 1h 40min to arriving being 20 min away only from the shop. Called twice ,first timed asked where is the pizza, receptionist said the driver was on his way, 30 min later she said the same thing so asked to have my money back she said they don't do Refunds and dropped the call and stoppped receiving calls from us !! It is just so ridiculous!!! Food arrived cold, just blend, poor quality, worst pizza I ever had!!! and after that had food poisoning. Don't know how people run business like this , not surprised at all why papas johns branches are closing around London!! first and last time I'm ordering from this disgraceful place!! Order tracker always says delivered , the food is still on route, need to sort the tracking system out

Ordered online for home delivery. The tracker told us it had been delivered half an hour after placing the order (before it arrived). The store were unhepful when we called to ask if there was a problem, and it didn't turn up for about 35 minutes after that. Pizza wasn't particularly nice either, very thin base (we didnt order the thinner base), a bit soggy and not much flavour. Sadly, won't be ordering again. Still tipped via the online 'tipjar' as I hope the driver got some of it, who did his best. Just glad we had 50% off the price with Meerkat rewards!

I’m shocked to see how many people have the same experience as this. I ordered a pizza at 9:00pm, 9:30pm app said it was delivered. 10:00pm still no pizza so I called the store and was told it will be here any minute. 10:30pm still no pizza. Called again but no answer, kept calling for 30 mins straight and no answer. Obviously the staff decided to close 30 mins early and not care about anyone who ordered. 11:00pm pizza arrived like a piece of plastic that could have smashed a window. Called back today to complain, was told manager is not here and I wasn’t working yesterday so not my problem. Papa Johns needs to end its franchise contract with this branch or at least allow users to choose a different location. I also want my money back.

Worst experience ever! Ordered a pizza for delivery living no further than 2 miles from the store - website claimed food has been delivered WHICH IT WAS NOT! Called the store and was told food would arrive soon. Took another 30 minutes. Turns out the driver received the wrong post code and was delivering to the wrong location. After we finally received our food I got a call from the store with a rude and unreasonable employee shouting at me that it was all my fault and not Papa John’s. I HAVE PROOF THAT IN FACT I GAVE THEM THE CORRECT ADDRESS. Finally the manager took the phone off the unreasonable employee and explained that in fact I was correct... I can understand a mistake BUT calling the customer (where I made no complaint) and SHOUTING down the phone is totally outrageous. AVOID.

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I only received the food 1.5 hrs after ordering and even then we didn't receive a side so I had to run to the driver and go collect it myself. I also called the shop more than 7 times to complain and ask why it was taking so long but no one picked up. The food was also undercooked and not hot at all! I would give 0 stars if possible.

We just ordered pizza and it said it’s been delivered! But there is no pizza and delivery! What a joke and you don’t even answer your phones! Now we are having to drive down to you and tell you as there is no other way of getting hold of this branch!

I had garlic cheese sticks, freshly prepared and very tasty, reasonable wait time,staff were polite. £6.99! Though 😐

Avoid any this branch at all cost’s. Ordered a few times hoping the service would get better but time and time your left waiting a ridiculous amount of time . Don’t bother calling because no one will pick up the phone . Food is not top quality compared to other branches . Won’t be ordering again .

Similar experience to others. Always really late on delivery, takes at least an hour and a half. Always cold on arrival. Food seems like it'd be really nice fresh and warm but that hasn't happened in the three times I've tried. Last time I called I was told they were only a little busier than normal and given the other reviews I just assume at this point that this is the standard level of service they give. Really unfortunate.

Pizza was really nice BUT they delivered us some other poor guys food by mistake as well as our own. Tried multiple times to call restaurant and no answer, by time delivery driver realised and came back, someone else getting very cold food hence the low score.

terrible. placed an order at 5pm for it to come at 6:40. pizza came at 7:30. no one picks up the phone, and they forgot my two extra dips. I never received a refund for it either.

Order an American Hot and there was hardly any pepperoni on it. 1 slice of pepperoni per 3 slices of pizza. Called the shop and the guy was arguing and told me that nothing can be done because I opened the box! Real bad customer service! Was reading the reviews and find that a lot of unhappy customers - not sure why HO is not doing anything about it. Dominos have better service.

I’ve never had a good experience ordering from this PJ. Gave them the benefit of the doubt on this occasion and it was another disappointment. Pizza arrived late, cold, chewy and with hardly any toppings. Never ordering from this place again. I’d rather pay a couple of quid more and get better quality pizza from Dominoes.

Please do not order from here... Cold food, bad service, constant delays. Save yourself some money and order elsewhere or cook.

Have ordered a few times from here to collect Always been a good pizza and ready to collect pretty quickly. Similar style to pizza hut and dominos but I prefer the ones from here. There seem to be a fair amount of negative reviews recently but they seem to be about delivery problems and it's hard to know how many good/ok deliveries are made for each bad experience. I cant comment on that. My only criticism is that the garlic dip they give isn't the best.

Shockingly bad experience. Four adults, 3 pizzas and some sides. Four adults with cramps and diarrhoea the next day. You can complain about cold food, about weird taste, but when it becomes a health hazard, it's different. I will send an inspection and I hope the place will shut down. ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING!

SCAM - NEVER ORDER Even after the bad reviews I ordered from here, what a big mistake. The tracker gets updated as if the food was delivered, and the items never arrive, surely someone just pockets the money. They do not answer the phone.

Ordered from here a number of times because it’s my local. Honestly better to order from a different papa johns. Don’t answer the phone, the app says it’s delivered and it doesn’t come for at least an hour and it’s cold. No way to get a refund either.

Absolute shambles this place. Pizza took forever to arrive. Ironic seeing as they've just introduced a £2 delivery charge! Took about 5 minutes for them to answer the phone. Pizza was just about passable. Won't bother ordering from here again.
