My
partner's
group
didn't
even
get
to
stay
in
this
hotel,
but,
looking
at
the
reviews
here
and
on
booking.com,
perhaps
that
was
for
the
best.
They
recieved
an
email
around
a
week
ago
informing
them
that
one
of
the
rooms
they
had
booked
wouldn't
be
available,
but
the
hotel
would
not
tell
them
why
or
give
them
an
alternative
despite
several
phone
calls.
In
fact,
each
time
they
called,
the
individual
manning
the
phone
would
literally
tell
them
he
didn't
know
and
to
call
back
and
speak
to
a
manager,
instead
-
the
manager
who
is
apparently
only
available
between
7am
and
4pm
each
day,
except
on
Fridays
when
they
leave
at
3pm.
After
receiving
an
email
saying
their
payment
had
been
declined
and
the
booking
cancelled,
my
partner
contacted
the
hotel
(who
blamed
booking.com),
booking.com
(who
blamed
the
hotel
as
they're
responsible
for
payments),
and
their
bank
(who
informed
them
that
no
payment
was
ever
processed).
The
conversation
we
had
with
another
employee
today
was
downright
ridiculous.
They
spoke
over
my
partner,
wouldn't
let
them
speak
or
finish
their
sentences,
and
tried
to
mansplain
the
process,
despite
my
partner
having
spoken
to
the
hotel
previously,
booking.com,
and
their
bank.
We
were
then
told
that
we
could
still
come
on
the
day
of
the
booking
and
they'd
find
rooms
for
us.
This
would
cost
over
double
what
the
original
booking
was
for.
Just
don't.
Don't
stay
here.
Appalling
customer
service,
lies,
obvious
unwillingness
to
actually
accommodate
existing
bookings.
Honestly
just
the
worst
service
I've
ever
witnessed.
As
an
update,
we've
been
keeping
an
eye
on
the
hotel
out
of
interest,
and
they've
almost
tripled
the
price
of
the
room
we
were
going
to
stay
in.
The
also
downgraded
another
friend's
room
but
expect
the
to
pay
the
same
price.
Disgusting.
